To some of the comments about Dani's voice here:
Dani has stated himself in an interview how his voice worsened towards the Thornography era, likening it to 'having tennis elbow'.
And no the range of lower vocals on the past 2 albums have not been 'lazy work'. Dani has said that he wanted people to be able to decipher the lyrics more easily as they've always been a central part to Cradle of Filth's style :-)
So happy cradle is back!! Dani has really been training his vocals and the new lineup is great! would be so cool if they did a few special shows and played dusk or cruelty in their entirety! Would definitely pay to see that.

Been waiting about 10 years to hear something like this, not counting Dani's contribution to the song Mother of Tears, which was also excellent
This was just brilliant performance...I can't believe it...look at the video from 1997. The high ones are almost the same (of course back there is a bit more power, but goddamn it, dani filth is doing them 17 years later).

After Nymphetamine, his vocals took a sharp decline. Vocalist are always prone to some throat disease. I'd guess he had to take it easy, but still wanted to make music, so found another way of getting it through.

Yeah, but you have to be careful doing those. A similar vocalist had to undergo surgery, i don't know if it was do to the high shrieks or not.
Love seeing new clips of their older tracks, cruelty brought the orchids, beneath the howling stars and haunted shores, strong back cateloge in my opinion with those great 3 albums principle, dusk and cruelty.
Im still a tad biased thinking Nick Barker was one of a kind, Marthus is better then adrian, however im used to the tom work and pricision drumming from Nick, though on the other hand if Nick tried to play the newer cradle tracks drummed by marthus im sure id think the same about hm over nick.
Listen to the album Necropolis Transparent by Lock Up, then tell me if you still think Nicholas Barker is not one of a kind.
havent got that album....ive got lock up first album pleasue pave sewers..those drums were amazing...ill check out the other album however i was originally not too kee cause they got a different singer.
Adrian was almost up there w Nick he would nail every drum of the older classics, Marthus for me is different of course and has his sound but w the older live stuff some drum rolls he just lacks that one beat.
with paul and the other guitarist gone for this tour this sounds like old cradle of filth which is good the new guitarist and bassist have more energy
