When I got my rescue Cocker 3 years ago, I was out walking with him when a man commented on him. "He's a hunting dog," I told him. The man snorted derisively, "Yeah, right!" Well! I was highly offended. It wasn't until recently when I watched your videos that I realized Charlie acts just like Archie and I could actually work with him. I have always thought something happened to separate Charlie from his family when they were on a hunting lease in West Virginia, because he was picked up on the back roads, just skin and bones. Covered in scabs, hardly any fur, from fleas. He had Lyme disease and a broken leg. You would never know now that he experienced such trauma. I just wanted you to know that because I've watched your videos, I've made an appointment for field training. I'm so excited to add this new dimension to our relationship. And I have you to thank for it.
Very mischievous Cocker could be his middle name and he is getting worse as he gets older, probably because I just laugh instead of trying to redirect his mischief. Glad you enjoy his work and antics.
@@lukegafa3063 i will watch the video again and see i can see what you mean, usually i say "here" or "come here" to my dogs or use the whistle command to call the dogs into me.

@@SpanielshuntingtrialingNZ ah yes that is true! 👍
Pat your dogs once in a while. Cockers need a little attention beyond the whistle.
Yes, agreed😀
Are you a maltese?
No, I live in Aotearoa (New Zealand), a Kiwi 😀

very low resolution video (360p), not good viewing. I think you probably would want to re-upload. love the cockers btw
Thanks, UA-cam seems to have corrected the problem with the resolution.
@@SpanielshuntingtrialingNZ Great 👍
