I got the same one in a build that cost $250. 590, 2600x 16gb ram, 500gb ssd. It also came with a monitor which I sold for $100. So for the price I think it’s a phenomenal gpu. Thanks for the tear down. I’m thinking of spray painting mine for an all white build.
I Used RX 590, I think it's great when we talk about price to performance. Also it can work with hackintosh builds. So, it's nice to see on this channel. Keep it up 👏

I’ve read a lot of posts/articles where polaris cards being recommended for hackintosh builds
this the last polaris model for local chna version kaya 2020 manufactured the last hurrah on polaris super budget

I know im late but what would happen if you replaced the thermal pads with the thicker ones? Like changing the 0.5mm to 2mm. Will the the temps be cooler or hotter? I bought the xfx rx 590 gme and i would like to replace the thermal pads. I'm having second thoughts because of this. Thanks in advance for the answer!
No, don't replace to a thicker pad. What will likely happen is that the heatsink will not touch the GPU silicon. Expect hotter temps and shorter life.

As long as it has pcie power connectors (which is standard), it should be fine
i have a question , so someone building me pc said the rx 590 gme is rx 580 with bios upgrade and that i should buy his rx 580 (also sapphire)saying that his is more reliable as the other one could have been mined and such as well as the rx 590 gme sapphire nitro plus with only give 1-2 fps difference from rx 580 sapphire nitro plus so i got it from his , so what he said is true?
RX 590 GME = rehashed / oc'd RX 580 is true. RX 590 GME is approx 6% better than 580 and 2% weaker than 590 non-GME. 6% on average, i.e. it might be 6 fps if the game runs 100FPS on RX 590 GME.
This RX 590 GME could have been used for mining is a speculation at this point but is highly likely to be true (i.e. unproven but we all know where the biggest cryptominers came from; the timing when it came out is also suspicious as it came out during the crash of the crypto bubble)
Whether or not his is better or from another 3rd party seller is something that we can't know at this point as to how much lifespan is remaining is really difficult to test (this is already a risk when you are buying brand new and even more so when buying 2nd hand as you don't know how much life did the first owner has consumed). Mine is ok but I am not sure how his is. How did he take care of the GPU, how bad is his version, etc.

The answer is we really don't know. We don't know how much life was already taken from what you bought and what you could've bought.
But if you trust your friend and your purchase is good enough for your needs, it was budget friendly to you as well vs brand new findings, then it is good enough. No need to validate your purchasing decision. 🙂

Rx 590 gme is an overclocked rx 580. Given that, you may want to contact your seller to clarify the matter.

You can use the latest adrenalin even though GME is not listed.

@@chrisglz Yes, Unfortunately we have issues with VR compatibility and othersuch with this card, unsure if it's a system issue since we've heard 6000 users having this issue too
Is it real 590 GME or a 580 PCB with 590 GME vBIOS, I had issue where MLLSE, selling fake 590 GME, I made a video opening the card up.
@@AlexHusTech AFAIK the card was legit and backed it up overall performance wise / testing. But it did run somewhat hot. We got it to run everything eventually, and after speaking with META it appeared they just have compat issues with older AMD generations.

Pwede pero I would strongly advise AGAINST it. Fire hazard yung mga molex to 8-pin adapters.

Oki, pero please don't buy generic though, buy PSU with reputable brand (Seasonic/FSP/Corsair), even their low-end tier will do.
Last generic PSU na gamit ko, it took the whole system with it nung nasira (shorted motherboard, HDD, and GPU). Pero yung Cougar ko rin na PSU, bought 10+ yrs ago, napamana ko na sa friend ko, still alive and well.

Ano po thickness ng thermal pad na ginamit nyo sir? Nag order din kasi ako nito sa lazada, same store, balak ko din po kasi repaste at palitan ang thermal pads. Thank you.
Haven't repasted / replaced thermal pads pero yung stock ay sa vram ay yung pinakamanipis, 0.5mm. Sa backplate 1mm

Should be fine. Polaris 20 is the die used for rx 580 / 590 gme.

iknow i'm late if there anyone reading this 😭 i have the same gpu then nilinisan ko siya after that after kong malinisan ni replace ko thermal pads and paste all of a sudden bigla na siyang nag o'over heat tech noob here ano po kaya nangyare? salamat sa makakasagot
Pakicheck po yung way ng pagmount ng cooler sa gpu.
Baka po hindi kayo nag-3 turns at a time per screw po. Pwedeng lopsided yung lapat ng cooler sa GPU.
