Elvis the idol is dead but Elvis the man lives on he is now in his 80's preaching in a small town can't remember where lol; but he goes by Bob Joyce you can find him on youtube believe it or not matters not to me, I am a big Elvis fan but I'm not a fanadic and I was one who believe he did die till I saw Bob Joyce he even has the very same scars in the very same place's as Elvis.
I’m from Upstate Ny.I had a ticket to see him in Concert so overly excited and tragically Elvis passed away August 16th of 77.I’ve been a fan since I was 7 years old.Always gonna love Elvis ❤️💕
"isn't it a pity, that in the big city, not one little bitty man could admit he could have been a little bit wrong" That, right there, is how to write a lyric!
Soul country r&b all rolled into one classic performance 68 to 70 early sixties Nashville and the 1950s is when Elvis was at his best in every way clean up your own backyard should have definitely been a gold record great rhythm and vocals
Good Book says, "Take the log from your own eye, before you try to remove the mote from your brother's eye.". This song was perfect for Elvis, as he was a believer.
Really like that outfit looks nice on you I've often said be careful when you go down the Elvis Road you'll find is very hard to get out Egypt's so many great songs and then he did some good songs but they are enjoyable I enjoy this journey with you keep up the good work
What a great review. I love that song. I love when Shawn was making hand gestures to the words of the song I thought it was so funny. And I love seeing Mels beautiful smile.
Thank y'all for redoing in the ghetto powerful poetic truthful song from Elvis Elvis was raised in rural part of Mississippi and raised up very very poor his father went to prison when Elvis was real young for forging a check from $4 to $40 just to keep his family fed Elvis knew about poor Elvis never had any money till he released his first record that's alright Mama just wanted to give you a little information and I've seen some more comments on here about other songs pieces of my life is a great song what now my love is a great song always a message in his songs always
my pleasure to see people enjoying and understanding Elvis,, when so many people just cast him aside without knowing who he really was, I enjoy your comments and when Shawn said he was the goat, I loved it, ill be watching more, thank you
Exactly. Also looney is correct about what now my love. Fantastic vocals and the best interpretation of that song ever. Frank Sinatra sings it too but he somehow makes it peppy and happy sounding when the words are clearly deep and full of sadness
This song should be sung daily for people who are hypocrites. It’s true isn’t it? He gets his point across. Thanks so much. Love your reactions. Love the audience you have in your house. 😂😂😂😂😂
This is not as well known as a lot of Elvis' hit songs.. It is from the movie The Trouble With Girls from 1969. I think this is a classic. One of my favorite Elvis songs. It has a smooth tempo and lyrics with a message and a good melody. Your reaction shows you really like this song. I would please like to request a video n ' Change Of Habit '. Same year but different movie. This is another awesome message song.
Thank you guys that was an awesome request from whoever it was one of my favorite songs of Elvis's have you noticed the recurring thing here Elvis always has a message and I love the message of you mind your business on my mind LOL don't forget my request walk a mile in my shoes 1970 live it's got a poem in front of it that y'all would love love you guys thank you
This is from a movie, not one of his best, but ELVIS looked good & this song is the highlight of the movie. The words are so very true. It is how people are, in any year. Back then or today.
I love how at the end of the videos Mel says, we love you guys! I always feel so happy when she says that. Because we love her and Shawn too. It's always so nice to come to their UA-cam channel for a few minutes everyday to see them. I always look forward to seeing them.
Thanks you guys for sharing this!! “Pieces of My Life” is an incredible song and sad in many ways but I think it says a lot about how Elvis was feeling at the time it was recorded! Stay safe & god bless ❤️
Great song always been one my favourite Elvis songs. If you can check out the song the edge of reality from the Elvis film live a little love a little. And If you can check out a song called 'someone you loved' by British singer Lewis Capaldi it's a great track.
Oh Happy Day n one I always thought he was singing just to me as my name is Susan song" Susan When She tried" But you may not want to react to this pne
You 2 need to watch Elvis' version of, "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" & compare to Tom Jones version. You know they were good friends..I was blessed to see Elvis 3 times in his lifetime & Tom, 1 time, back in the day.
co written by Mac Davis and the late Billy Strange who was a picker for Phil Spector. does anyone out there know who the dobro player on this clip is and I agree Elvis
****** from the 1969 movie Trouble With Girls. (I do not. recommend this movie, as he barely appeared in it, BUT a few good songs, check out Swing Down Sweet Chariot at: ua-cam.com/video/AbBdBL3XGdE/v-deo.html
Again, this is a scene from a movie and not a music video. This is from one of the last few movies he did called The Trouble With Girls, not a great movie by any means. It's a terrific song, but it has very little to do with the film. The movie took place in the early 1920s, yet Elvis is talking about "backroom preachers", "drugstore cowboys" and "armchair quarterbacks", none of which had even been heard of yet in that decade. Is it any wonder that Elvis was growing weary of the ridiculous scripts he was being given?
The movie this is from (The Trouble With Girls & How To Get Into It) tends to polarize opinion. I like it, but that's probably just because the dialog is a cut above your average bland Elvis comedy. Elvis isn't the lead character, it's set in an "imaginary" 1920s (try counting the anachronisms), near the end a seemingly crucial scene is horribly foreshortened...the only thing people agree on about the film is that it's "different".
Elvis song Reconsider Baby, very bluesy great song
You've got to love him. I mean really. There will never be any one like him!
