Oh man, this really bring back memories! Haven't listened to them in a while, but back in about 15 years ago it was one of the main party themes. They are, or were back then anyways, an fantastic live act. If you want to listen to something a little different from "Highwayman" they also had minor hits with "I'm not leaving now" (also from The Storm) and "Memories in blue" (from their second album Skank-a-tronic Punkadelica")

Popsicle - Not Forever! Didn't even know they were Swedish, I'm constantly amazed at what Sweden has produced! That's another reason I like this channel, I get to understand which music was actually Swedish that I didn't even knew to look up!
Glad you do some songs from the 2000s in between. Personally, I think that Swedish music had a bit of a peak period around this time 2000-2010 a lot of good music came out during that period.... I think you might appreciate Movits: for example Äppelknykkarjazz.

Great reaction to a great song. I saw them live when they did a corporate gig at a company kick-off event back in or around 2010, and I have seen them live at a festival. They were awesome both times and had great energy on stage - both times! I realize a corporate gig might not be the sexiest thing to do as an artist, and to be all in and give your full energy I think say something about the band. They even hung around and had a beer with the crowd afterwards. Cool dudes!

Memories! From when I was 14-15years old in my home town Borlänge where they came and played on the Peace & Love festival. People everywhere in town on the peak of the festival. Now the festival is just some small shit after they got financial problems 😞

Not sure how this works with sarcasm. :) But in this case, I was still in my late clubhopping years when it came out, so this should have left a mark with me if it did leave a mark bigger than a quick charting. And as a bonus, I have in all my life had the radio, mostly P3, constantly on in the background, so it should have penetrated my ears quite a lot. :)

People suggest songs that are far too young to be classics. Listen to "Teddybjörnen Fredriksson" (Lasse Berghagen) and "Fula gubbar" (Magnus Uggla).
