Such a great video. Great product but also great editing. Having to make instructional videos for my TAFE course has given me a whole new appreciation for the time, effort and skill that goes into a well produced video (more than I am currently able to manage, but baby steps I guess) so, thanks for sharing your skill with us.
Try Bostix 24/02 two part hyplon glue, I am a RIB boat builder and repair man and it sticks anything to anything it’s also flexible to a point, I glue rubber and over to aluminium, GRP, wood, steel, good marina stores should stock it 👍🏻 nice work on the sheath
Man where do you come up with these? You always have the coolest ideas. Do you get inspiration from somewhere or is this straight out of your head? Beautiful work
Thanks! I started with the simple goal to have a larger sharpening block fixed to the sheath. Once I have the basic construction in my head, I try to figure out ways to make that basic design pop more artistically; give it some 'wow' factor.
Wow. Amazing work. Way beyond John Rambos knife. Thanks for sharing. What's next? I watched all the holster videos, dog collar, knife sheath (2), and the wrist cuff. I learn a little something from every video project you do, so Thanks. I am currently working on my own 1911 holster using the Hand of God video you did. Keep videoing.
Hey Agent! I recently bought a laser cutter. I am really happy with the results. But I find really difficult to clean the edges. Almost allways I turn out staining the leather with charcoal. Do you have any advice! Thanks in advance.
Thanks for subscribing! I try to clean off the char as much as I can with a damp sponge. I dye almost everything I make, so maybe I just don't notice? Are you leaving the leather natural?
@@RoadAgentLeather Thanks for repliyng. Yes, almost always natural, feibings in my country is too expensive. I mean tooooo expensive. No good stainers around here. Sometimes wax plus oils.
Hello idol, a question, you clean the leather you are going to work with a brush and soap, then you store it wet in a nylon bag, why is it stored in the nylon bag and for how long? Thank you very much for your information and your videos, greetings from the other side of the world (I used Google Translate to translate from Spanish to English) 👍🙋♂️.
It's called "casing". It prepares the leather to accept tooling/stamps. I put it in the bag to let the moisture fully penetrate the leather and not dry out. It's usually only a few hours. Some allow it to sit over night.
The cut I made with the glued body pieces came out cleaner looking I think because of the glue itself. Whenever I've laser-cut glue pieces like that they always come out looking pretty clean. Not sure why.
I’ve got an awesome knife that was just recently gifted to me from a friend in Turkey 🇹🇷 where I work. It would make for some great content for you and I would love to have a great piece of your art for it to live in.
Very clever. From old to new techniques, right down to design and attention to detail. Im very impressed.

Always a treat! Do you designate the order the cuts are made or does the laser software? I notice the stitch holes are done before the cut out.
You can designate the order. I do all the scoring/engraving first then make cutting passes last.

I love your projects, absolutely beautiful craftsmanship! Do you take orders or sell anywhere?
Thanks! I have an Etsy store, but there's only one listing in there currently.
ahh, I was wondering where you were going with the whole "gluing metal to kydex" lead. Also, dat jungle music 👌
Glad you liked it!
Beautiful AND functional!
Thank you!

Классные ножны, один маленький минус, на ремешке фиксирующий рукоять ножа клепка на изнанке будет царапать рукоять. А в целом супер!
Perhaps it will. The strap can be rotated to different positions if it becomes a problem. Thanks for subscribing!

Another great build and also great tunes. You must be getting laser poor by now. LOL
Thanks for watching! I figure if a reputable company wants to send me a laser for something I'm already doing, why not?
@RoadAgentLeather don't blame you. They can keep sending them to you. Didn't mean any disrespect to you. I was trying to make a poor joke.
Great work
Thanks
the new laser looks like it can cut cleaner than the previous laser
