Second problem are these greedy ISP's that over charge for good connection speeds. I'm paying near $90 a month for internet only, just to be able to watch things in better quality & faster speed. We have all these growing mega apartment complexes popping up everywhere offering tenants free wi-fi internet and students not having the money to pay extra. Sadly, this problem will continue until ISP's stop nickel & diming everyone for the most part.

Not everyone has their modem/router beside their television set or on the same floor or an outlet or cable running to connect a modem/router close to their setup. I mean you can get 100ft or more ethernet cable but who wants to run that crap for a game. lol
You *must* have an honest grown-up conversation with your parents or guardians. Explain to them that you know how to and urgently need to clip and conceal a run of cable along the baseboard. Cable covers and tower clips to match any colour of wall are dirt cheap. Watch a DIY tutorial and give your guardians a detailed explanation and illustration of how you will install the cable. Once they see that you're responsible, mature, careful, and knowledgeable, and that you won't ask for more money or have to pay an electrician to do this, and that you'll do it without damaging anything or disrupting anyone they'll let you go ahead.

It is by no means a “need,” let alone an urgent one. If the kid describes that as an “urgent need,” that’s going to raise red flags for any parent who has any sort of worry about their kid succumbing to an online addiction. Some setups people have prevent them from using cable I guess. Bad placement of sockets or run the cable across the room. I bet manny ps5 players not even aware that ps5 do that thing randomly that disconnects your Ethernet and you end up on WiFi for no reason… it happened to me twice already 😂
I remember the last version of this video. I can't remember if he showed how to enable LAN on console (PS5 at least). If you've always been on wifi on PS5, you have to go to settings > network, and then you have to select ethernet. I'd imagine the steps are similar for Xbox players
I’ve been having more issues with some of the ethernet connections. I think some people’s PCs aren’t able to handle the graphic settings of Tekken 8. They need to lower it or something. Perhaps a new graphics card is needed for them. I run Tekken 8 on an EVGA 2080 Super. More than enough.
Gm is right. he plays lee who relies on frame perfect timings, can't do that in 180ms jumpy connections. the game literally becomes unplayable. even for players who don't play lee, if you play towards your reactions and you have some precise moves in your kit like electric or loops, lag is unplayable. a lot of cats are online warriors only and don't know what a lagless match is like.
