I don't like the pocket door by the shower. If you ever have to replace the mixing valve, you either have to break your tile in the shower or go through the drywall that covers the pocket door. I'd rather put an access hatch over the plumbing and hide it in a closet.
Thank you for all the videos you produce. Question for you. Why not install the siding for the slope first then install the 7/16 zip? Just the front edge would need the tape then. Grace and Peace Slick
Another question. If you’re going to the trouble of making shade pockets why not install the shades on the outside of the house? Put the time and money on the outside and then also you actually get the benefit of the shade by stopping the heat on the outside of the house. Grace and Peace Slick
@@stevenbaczekarchitect9431 Wow didn’t realize it would still be that big of spread. Great to hear back from you. Hope all is well. Grace and Peace Slick

Thanks Steve! Good work!
My pleasure!
Roll that Zip tape! Beautiful sill detail (2:25), beautiful execution. Thanks, Steve.
Yes, builder is doing a great job
I like the shade pockets. Be nice if that were more common.

Good tip!
Or just put the door pocket on the other side of the doorway.
Hey Steve. How do you air seal the shade boxes?
It's a Hot Roof
Steve, could I use tyvek in place of siga majrex? Specifically on the interior ceiling. Tyvek has a higher perm than the majrex so why not? Thanks!
most likely
