Maybe the 'How To Train Efficiently For Climbing In Your Lunch Break' title was a bit ambitious as some of you pointed out 😂, so we changed the title to focus more on the 60 mins aspect...if you're lucky enough to fit this in your lunch break you've got a great boss....hope you enjoy the video! 😄
@@matthewkulhawy864 haha, brilliant for you, if you can get 2 blocks, sign in, change into gear for climbing, warm up, do all the other stuff, then have a shower, (unless you're happy to go back to work without one) and then get changed , then actually eat your lunch and get back to work in an hour, I'd be very impressed.
It is going to be more realistic for me to go a 30-40m daily hangboard/stretching and power session. My climbing will stay after work but the extra training time will be awsome.
@@matthewkulhawy864 yeah ofc, I wish I could fit in the odd lunch time sesh but I work no where near my climbing gym. As many others have now pointed out, the one in the video would be a massive push for a lunch time.
How To Train Efficiently For Climbing In Your Lunch Break If You Work At A Climbing Wall And Don't Actually Need To Spend Your Lunch Break Eating and Digesting Lunch
@@laputahh I want to start warming up, I think it'd help. The problem tho is I'm in such a small gym that it'd feel awkward to be the only one warming up in there lol
With such a small warm up (and no stretching at all) I definitely wouldn't do high heel hooks like in the video. Also with such a short time I wouldn't go even near to my max grade. Actually if I had only 60mins, I wouldn't climb but make a good muscle work out, pull ups and hang boarding instead. For me (age 33) it takes around 25-30mins to make a proper warm up before bouldering. I would be so pissed off, if I hurt myself due to lack of warm up.
Buena rutina de entreno!! pero... seguro que es seguro comenzar el calentamiento de dedos haciendo suspensiones? aunque sea con los pies en el suelo... no se...
Normally I try to climb 15-20 movements sooo easy to flow the blood to the small muscles from the fingers before bouldering (sorry for my bad English) :)
I'm gonna totally abandon all snark here. There's no way in hell I could fit this in an hour. Title should be 'Efficient workout when you have all the time in the world".
I always start with the easiest route I haven't completed (while my muscles are fresh) then work down from there until I max out on the easy routes. But I am a noob so take with a grain of salt.
Bad form in the push ups. Hips need to be higher and he should be looking straight forward and not down as looking down in bad for shoulders and spine.
Great 1-hour training program, but I can't resist chiming in with the other commenters to say that suggesting this could fit into a "lunch break" is absurd. For one thing, in the US, most people only have one 30-minute lunch break (and one 15-minute break at some other point in the day).

except this is still a really long 60 minutes
I'll save you a few minutes:
1. You warm up
2. You climb
before watching the video I thought you were a hater, after watching the video i totally agree with you. Warmup, boulder, wall. Thats about it.
I'm willing to bet the only people who can fit this in on their lunch break are the ones who actually work at the climbing gym Haha.
lol, just about to put this comment up...
actually, a new gym is opening up less than 2 blocks away from my office. this is exactly what I need!

yeah true...maybe its more of an efficient 60 minute workout...or if your boss loves a long lunch :D
How To Train Efficiently For Climbing In Your Lunch Break If You Work At A Climbing Wall And Don't Actually Need To Spend Your Lunch Break Eating and Digesting Lunch
I'm starting to think my employer doesn't give me adequate lunch breaks...
I'm not sure you understand how an hour works.
Ok got it...go to the gym, warm up and climb..awesome tips!
Ive never seen anyone in my bouldering gym warm up
Maybe they warm up at home ;) that's what I'm doing.
I don't do the arm and leg swings, but I will always warm up by starting on low grades
@@codeman374 yh do a couple easier ones but i never warm up by doing pushups running on the spot ect ect

That would be so rad if I could do that on my lunch break, that gym looks absolutely phenomenal!

Thankfully I work 10 mins away from Ratho so it's potentially achievable with a little leeway from the boss! 😂
Or you skip the rope part. Get really strong and stay near the ground where people can see you.
I'm a teacher so my lunch break is 30 minutes while I'm looking after the kids at the same time. Tips for lunch-training for climbing?
And if you wanna train holding onto slopy holds just start lifting kids by the head

No stretching ?
dynamic movements are better. static stretching can be harmful before climbing.
@@David-go4ot Cheers! how about afterwards?
@@sfz82 I've heard that you should do dynamic warmups, and static stretches after climbing
@@RedX2276 cool. now we only need some quick stretching program to squeeze in there...

Could you please do a video on how to train for climbing without a gym or outdoor wall? I have weights and a portable hangboard though...
nice workout! but, is sure start finger warm up with suspensions? yes, feets in floor but... im not sure...
I think you are right. I always do easy boulders first and then go on the hangboard.
It's safer (for tendons) than climbing because it's more controlled.

How to get better at climbing in 60mins....climb for 60mins lol

wouldnt you be better off doing 60 mins of hangboard/campus/weighted pull ups?
hahahahah no.
Daniel Fry if you are training for strength and contact.
