The fact that they are talking about it as if it was rational or anything other than wtf. It would be too uncomfortable for me to imagine? I mean who does that and is okay with it. Or that they really think it was only once
Why were they acting like the moral dilemma was the fact that his sister would obviously remain in his life and her presence would put strain on their relationship…. Instead of the fact her boyfriend committed incest??? Like the cheating part is way less concerning
If anyone is curious about the second story update. They did get divorced and she won a full custody, she gave birth to a her baby girl. And she is very happy. The husband tried to get his rights to the baby after he found out how much money he would have to give but the judge didn’t let him. So everything worked out for her I guess. The mil was not happy to say the least from what I read. Hope this helps.❤
Right? I find the fact that they even joked about being upset if their first child was a girl strange. I also feel awful for any daughters in that family, because apparently some of the husband's siblings have more than one kid.
@@heatherduke5410 I honestly thought that was super messed up and I feel like that should have been a major red flag for her in the relationship, and it probably is happening thr favor the boys more then the woman but don't realize in order to bring a boy into the world you need a woman for that. I really hope we get an update because I feel like OP is WAYYYYY to nice for her own good
Update: Swapped kids story. Parents won almost 2 Mil in the settlement and found the other little girl. The bio daughter was in foster care and they started the adoption process and plan to move out if state with both girls. They haven't been able to get in contact with their not bio kids parents but they likely don't need to on account of the bio daughter being in foster care.
It was also a women who you can UA-cam the story who said in the birth room when the baby was sent to her that it wasn’t her baby no one believed her and turns out she was right. But at the point when she found out she had bonded with the other baby it’s so sad that this still can happen.
Honestly that is a much happier ending for everyone. So sad the bio daughter was in foster care but now the parents have TWO daughters!!! Everyone stays within the same family!!!
When my husband and I found out we were pregnant everyone would say to my husband “I bet you’re hoping for a boy” and he would always say “I’m hoping for a healthy baby” they would always look at him so shocked like wtf is wrong with these men who “need to have a boy” it’s so weird to me
My bf wanted another girl even though we both had girls already. The sonographer couldn't believe it when I told her, and said that every man that comes in seems to want a boy. He said if it was a boy we'd give it to my sister. Totally joking, but it hurt at the time as he took on his exes boy (even though they'd been broken up for years and he wasn't his). I was so relieved we're having a girl
There is literally nothing wrong for “hoping for a boy”, nor is it wrong for “hoping for a girl”…. Just like there’s nothing wrong with not having a preference. We don’t have to vilify people for a wish or a thought. Obviously the husband and mother in law in this story is beyond messed up. Throw the whole family away. But we don’t have to make a big leap and say it’s wrong for parents to have a preference. I’ve noticed the dialogue around this topic gets taken too far.
1st story: Even the very basic idea that the fiance is okay with incest is a "get out now" red flag. The fact his sister used it in an argument makes me think this happened more than once.
It also sounds like she was PROUD to have done it. Almost like she was trying to one up his girlfriend and say well I slept with him AFTER y’all were together for 5 months so HA! Definitely disturbing for sure and she needs to tell EVERYONE including their parents and run away from that grenade as fast as she can!
The whole thing about the husband and his mother accusing this woman of predetermining the sex of her baby is so strange? I mean, the old wives' tales are just that. Old wives' tales. It was literally 50/50. I want her to take him for all he's worth.
The OP in that story posted an update with a little more information...Apparently her BIL's wife called her to let her know that she heard over Sunday dinner that the husband and nutty MIL are gonna go for full custody cause they don't want the baby to be raised by a "conniving manipulative person" BIL & wife are looking to separate from the rest of the family
@@jessilias9530 absolutely projecting. Literally accusing her of being a manipulative person while being manipulative people. Hopefully she's able to get away from them as far as possible.
There was an update and they’re getting a divorce she got a call from her ex BILs wife to let her know that they are gonna distance themselves cause they have 2 boys and 1 girl and don’t like what they are seeing, also to let her know that’s the ex and ex MIL are plotting to take full custody just cause they don’t want someone like her who is “manipulative” to be raise her(baby girl) and maybe.. MAYBE he will learn to love the baby 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
The story with the swapped babies, the hospital I gave birth at actually put wristbands on me and my baby that matched and had our names on them. Anytime they had to take her out of my room for any reason, they made me show my bracelet when they brought her back to be sure they matched. I had to show them like 3 times when getting discharged to be sure I was taking the right baby home. I thought it was genius
In the hospital I gave birth in in the UK, they did the same thing. We don't have nurseries they can go to, like in the US, so baby stays with Mum the whole time, but they do have alarms at the entrance to the ward, so if a baby gets too close, they go off and the midwives can go and see what's going on
Went to kid's casino recently (Chuck E. Cheese 🤣) And they stamp the group with the same image when you come in. When you leave, they make sure that adult(s) and child(ren) have the same stamp. Very smart.
Not to be that guy.... _but!_ In my country we both don't have nurseries and do exactly this. In addition parents can "mark" the baby immediately post birth to make sure it's theirs. We have switched at birth cases here; admittedly so rare they make national news but there have been three in my lifetime. The first one, the girl turned into a family annihilator upon discovering they weren't "her real family." The second both went with one family and abandoned the poor mother. The last it's suspected the parents did it on purpose and actually got investigated for abuse.
SECOND STORY UPDATES: UPDATE 1: Update on my last post: thank you all for all the love, it means so much to me right now. I’d also like to add that I’ve seen a few comments about my story being copied, it breaks my heart to think of anyone else having to go something similar my heart goes out to them. Also, I should have mentioned originally that I had a gut feeling to record the call with my mother in law, so I have all of that on hand if it’s needed in the future. I’m planning to try catching my husband on his way out of work sometime next week. I’d like to hear his side of the story. I’ve decided, however, that if there is any saving our relationship, I’ll be changing my last name back to my maiden name and our daughter will be taking my last name or at the very least have a hyphenated name. Call me feminist or whatnot but it will be non negotiable. I’ll also be requiring MANY boundaries between me and his mother and she will not be in my child’s life until she can find it in her to apologize to me sincerely and change her attitude towards us. UPDATE 2: Wow! I honestly haven’t been on Reddit at all since my last update because well, growing a human is hard as it is, and then add my crazy life on top of it. But, after getting hundreds of emails from Reddit today, I realized it must have been shared somewhere else to be blowing up like this and now that there’s so many of you I figure I owe you all an update. So here it is. Hopefully I can get this all typed out in a way that makes sense. Even though it’s been a few weeks since this all went down, I’m still in shock and I haven’t been able to collect my thoughts (let’s just blame it on the pregnancy brain and pretend that my life isn’t falling apart before my own eyes). I was able to catch my husband as he was leaving work one night and got his side of the story out of him like I had hoped. As suspected, he admitted that he was excited for a baby girl, and after speaking to his mom, she forced him to leave and block me. His MOTHER already had the divorce papers ready to go. I tried to tell him that we could fix this. We could raise our daughter together away from his mother. (I know I sound fucked in the head and naïve for this, but I grew up in a household without a father figure and I was hopeful my daughter could have a different home life experience than what I had) not to discredit my mother. She’s a badass women and I hope I can be half of the woman she is for my daughter one day. Anyways, my husband had none of it. He said that he realized how conniving and manipulative and ab*sive i had been throughout our entire relationship and he did want to actually go through with the divorce. He said he’d have no problem giving me full custody of the ‘thing that’s growing inside of me’. That’s when I lost all hope. Fuck him. I have no problem leaving a man who’s so easily brainwashed by his mother like that. I’ll raise this baby alone. That’s bad enough, but here’s the real icing on the cake - I received a phone call from my soon to be ex-husbands brothers wife (we’ve always been quite close and she’s been my saving grace throughout my pregnancy giving me all the tips for nausea etc. she has 3 of her own, 2 boys and a girl) anyways, she informed me over the phone that she overheard a conversation at weekly Sunday dinner that mother in law and husband are trying to blindside me in court and take full custody. I was livid, full on seeing red. I called mother in law straight away and demanded to speak to my husband. All he had to say for himself was that he realized he didn’t want any of his offspring to be raised by such a manipulative freak and even though he doesn’t actually want her, he’s sure he can grow to love her again. I’m not sure what to do at this point. I know I have a good case for myself but I’m fucking terrified they’ll win the battle and take everything from me. It brings tears to my eyes thinking about my daughter growing up somewhere where she isn’t loved. Even if custody is split 50/50 I’ll have no control over the lies they’re guaranteed to feed her. My emotions are going haywire trying to write all this out so I think I’m going to leave it at that. Thank you for all of the love and support you all have shown me and my baby girl. The internet can truly be an amazing place. EDIT: adding that my brother in law and his wife are planning on leaving the family dynamic after seeing the way I’ve been treated. They have a daughter of their own and while she’s been accepted as she wasn’t the first born. They’re very uncomfortable with the misogyny within the family. BIL is the first born and I think the what ifs are fucking with his head. ALSO: had no idea I submitted this to a podcast subreddit 🤷♀ my original post kept getting taken down on AITA and my sister recommended I post it where I did. If somebody wants to send me a link to listen I would be interested to hear it. Although - please spare me the details of its negative. I don’t know if my heart can take it. UPDATE 3: Thank you so much for all of your support! I’ve been in contact with my lawyer about how best to proceed and for legal reasons I’m not allowed to give any more information at this point in time but I’ve seen all of your messages and I’m truly so grateful for all of the advice and care being sent our way. I have a very good lawyer working with me and both me and baby are and will be safe through the coming months. Once again, thank you all so much for your kindness, it’s helped me feel somewhat sane through all of this and made me realize that I am entitled to feel the ways I’m feeling. You’ve truly given me a community where people have my back and truly want what’s best for me. I’ll be logging off until things have settled and baby is born. Maybe I’ll return for a final update at some point, but for now I’m focusing on my own health and the health of my baby as I prepare for the courtroom.
stay strong! my father had 4 of us all girls and then went and cheated for a boy. i have a half brother who lives with my mom and dad. i am the oldest and feel like he doesn't love me. he never showed up to school for any of us when we had performances or graduations. my mom is a blessing. she did everything and all the money and love in the world will never be enough to repay her. your little girl will feel all that love from you. it is hard to make decisions because this is someone you spent time with and it's hard to let go. but stay strong and you'll make it!
second story has another update that was shared about an hour after yall posted this-theyre divorcing and the husband and mil were planning to blindside op to get full custody (he says that while he doesnt want the child, he’ll “learn to love her again”). op’s bil (the first born son) and sil are planning on leaving the family dynamic because of how op has been treated since this.
Thank you for posting that here. I rly hope those ppl leave the family. It’s a little satisfying that they’re not all ok with this. I can’t BELIEVE they want to fight for custody. How fking infuriating.
Yeah no way is he getting custody of that baby he has blatantly showed he doesn't care for her so why would he be awarded custody. These people are out of their minds
Yup, ruins the whole 'one time in the past' argument when it gets brought up as a weapon in arguments. She gotta run and leave those two Lannisters to their warped view 🤮 God forbid having a kid with someone who thinks it's ok to fuck family to 'get experience'.
Right? The audacity to be pissed “she took his car and ran with it” but he can take a whole ass human take her not where he told her and ran with it? 😅
@@sarahilton9039 in most states, holding onto someone and moving them like 1 foot against their will is legally considered kidnapping. He's lucky she returned his freakin' car after he kidnapped her. I'd have blown a damn gasket!
She said she does goes to some events like big events so and she works a lot probably and if her friends couldn’t take the shift he shouldn’t have kidnapped her.
The sibling sexual connection between the sibs had to have existed for a long time. There's no way you just have a normal sibling relationship your entire life and suddenly one person says "hey can I just practice sex on you?" and the other person just goes "YEAH."
That’s what I was thinking. No way was that the first time. Especially because the sister only told OP because they where arguing, the sister told her that to hurt her. No way that was a one time thing.
Imagine dating a man for 6 years, and find out you've been having his sister's sloppy seconds for 5.5 years of that 😭 (I don't THINK it was ongoing, but knowing it happened ONCE is enough for me) Throw the brother and the sister both in the blender, EW
I'm also mad tripping on the fact that OP and the sister got in a fight and the sister threw that at OP like a scorned ex 🤢🤢🤢🤢 he's your brother, not your ex boyfriend!
As a nurse, can confirm it isn't that simple as; 'ask a co worker to cover for you~' no. We are understaffed majorly half of the staff has covid themselves and can't come in and even the ones that are in are already pulling doubles and triples. So 100% he's the jerk and she should really see about marriage counseling with her husband. I understand he may have had some good intent behind wanting her to go to spend time with her, but I also feel like there was a bit of selfishness there a bit of "I need to prove myself to my family" somehow. That's kind of the feeling I got from the way it was worded. Regardless, mad respect to ALL my nursing staffs out there no matter if you're a maintenance person or a CNA or a lab tech, etc. WE GOT THIS! Stay strong!
I was a unit secretary and was asked to run down the list to ask someone to come in. I knew it was a long shot but did my due diligence. Of the 20 numbers I called, NO ONE answered their phone. And only one was nice enough to call back to say no 🤣 I am so mad for her!!!
@@sydneehodges3718sometimes her take is so completely out of touch. OP says husband's family gets together every day that ends in Y but she makes an effort to make it to the big ones. She is not an asshole in any way, shape or form & he's a psycho.
Psychotherapist here, I diagnose mental/behavioral health disorders for a living. With the parent kidnapping story, someone can suffer from PTSD even if they are far removed from the traumatic event. They can develop PTSD symptoms just by being aware that this trauma happened to someone close to them. I would definitely recommend she seek therapy to help her reconcile and process this trauma that happened to her mom 40 years ago.
Oh my God Alejandra, it's screamingly obvious you don't understand the job of a nurse or how that job works. She can't just "suck it up" and take off work because that's not how that works at all. Taking off a shift could cost her other shifts or even her job. Hospitals everywhere are extremely understaffed, especially with nurses, and she can't just leave to appease her husband who clearly doesn't understand how her job works either. She already said she makes an effort to take off work for big family events, but her job is important and that should clearly take precedence.
Alejandra clearly has some god complex where she thinks she has the answers to everything and always has the right take lmfao the entire time she was talking about that situation all i thought was how tone deaf and ignorant she sounds. and through the entire video just acting like she knows everything or disregarding morgan’s takes because they are different than her own. v annoying
Not to mention her admitting she doesn’t see a problem with cropping dogs ears. Like??? I might be done with this show now. Out of touch and scary hosts IMO
For the one about the nurse: My SIL doesn’t come to family events often sometimes ever. Because!! She’s has told my mother time after time that she needs to give her at least a week or more notice for any events and my mom continues to plan things last minute and gets mad that she doesn’t come. I told my mom it’s a little inconsiderate of everyone else’s schedule to expect everyone to come to dinner when you didn’t plan it till the day of. I wanted to hang out with my SIL this weekend so last Thursday I asked her if she was busy and we made plans to hang out and we’re going out this weekend. My mom is like “how did you get her to go do something” ummmm because I asked and gave her more than a day notice lol
My bf is a nurse, im a cna…. We both agree with what u said!!!! It’s the reality. People need care on holiday, evenings, and weekends… and when the relief staff didn’t show up on time, u can’t just leave… and most times outlet schedules are not routine!
To the second story. My husband's family is like that. We are Mexican family. When I became pregnant, they insisted on a boy first to carry on the last name. My husband doesn't care about none of that shit. He has 10 older siblings and they all have boys firstborn. When we found out we were having a girl he was over the moon. Then we had another girl, then another then another. He loves being a girls dad. I always wanted a boy and accidentally became pregnant with a boy, then it happened again a boy. We hyphenated the last names and just to make his family mad, he put my last name fist then hyphen his. He really likes my last name as well as i like his. He put us first before his family ideology. The woman is lucky to have her daughter and got rid of the dead weight. It would have ended up bad if his family babysat or worse, abuse. She is lucky but make him pay alimony and child support. She shouldn't let him sign his parental rights off.
My sons grandfather is old school Mexican and won't meet my son without his father there (super strained relationship.) And is mad that I did same thing as you my last name hyphen dad's. My son is the only grandchild to "carry the family name" and I "ruined it" 🤣
@@de5072 wow. My father in law loved our children regardless but for him it would be better if we had boys. He died the week I found out i was pregnant with my first son. So like 5 years ago, he didn't get a chance to meet his grandsons. I'm just happy when my hubby said he wanted all daughter's
I’m Mexican and I don’t think my family cares if I have a boy or girl. My mom does care for me to have more biological children than adoptive. I told her my fiancé and I agreed we would have one biological and adopt two. My fiancé is a conservative white man. So I thought adoption would be a problem with his family. He said he doesn’t care if a biological or adoptive child carries his name or if doesn’t care if he has a son or not. We agreed that when we have a child, we won’t find out the gender until the birth. I also told him that I would like a hyphened last name for the children since my last name is beautiful, (Bello). He is ok with that.
@@Josy5527167 it's same in my side of the family. Even adopted kids are welcomed. Besides children of my daughter's are my family, children of my son's who knows if it's even theirs.
My partner is a nurse, I go to family events all the time by myself. My sister and her boyfriend are the worst for making fun of me for him not being there. They get a little superior that her bf is there and mine isn't. I'm so proud to be with a nurse, I tell them straight up, he's a nurse, he's gotta do what he's gotta do. It's the nurse life! It's what you sign up for when you chose to be with a nurse! When is he able to come it's even more special. I'd never do anything to put his career and passion at risk because I love him.
@@piercejones4355 okay and I get that but he should be more understanding not fucking slit her tires and make her let them say she’s the one who’s manipulating. It’s a barbecue tbh they could come stop by and make time more on her time!! But no they chose to make her do everything yet nurses have it hard. They work long shifts and don’t complain and bust their butts to make their patients feel comfortable and loved. If you get with a nurse understand their not gonna be able to drop everything, it’s not a cashier job or food job or something people depend on it.
Can someone explain to me why it looks so superior to have your bf or gf at family events ? lol like who fucking cares ? I don't get it ! what is there to make fun of ? I swear people are so childish.
for the kidnapping story: I disagree. It's not just "something he did 40 years ago"...he literally kidnapped a woman. That's a level of trauma that is beyond being cheated on. That would forever alter my opinion of my father. I do think y'all may have been a bit too blasé on this one, but that's just a difference opinion none of us are going to hate you for it! I do appreciate you looking at all angles and I'm glad to have THT back :) Your podcast is amazing and I look forward to the next episode.
I totally agree with you! even the mom said how horrible it was for her when it happened, if my dad did this to my mom I would literally hate him(or at the minimum our relationship would never be the same again)
That’s what I was thinking. I know they clarified that it’s not something they’re justifying, but it really sounded like it. It’s not just “oh well he’s a good guy now and he was 16” it was a federal offense and OP’s mom was terrified. I hated how they reacted to it because it’s not a grey area, it’s not “let’s see all sides” and they sounded just a little too ready to blow it off. Idk it irked me
My mom was passively kept as my fathers victim for decades and three kids. When he finally tried to kill her everyone in her family was shocked because he presented as the ‘kind uncle’ outside of the home or when we had company. Just because they are nice to some people does not mean they are not monsters to others.
Girl, letting the air out of your wife’s tires so you can kidnap her and make her miss her shift AS A NURSE AT A HOSPITAL is not “kind of shitty.” That’s full-on horrible and I don’t care how many of her husband’s family events she’s missed, he’s not justified in doing that and she was fully justified in taking the car. I’d probably have driven straight to a lawyer after work and started divorce proceedings for that stunt.
Incest? Ok. Letting the air out of your wife's tires and forcing her to go to a family event at the risk of her career? Ok. KIDNAPPING A WOMAN AND REFUSING TO LET HER LEAVE YOUR HOME? Absolutely fine! Thinking your partner is cheating because your child looks nothing like you and has genetic features that indicate they aren't yours? Unforgivable.
I’m glad someone’s pointing it out in this one cause erm wtf I was so confused when she said they both are assholes like… he kidnapped her and she didn’t or wasn’t able to go to a few family events??? Like he’s just insecure because of his family bringing it up. Not everyone can meet as often as they’d like to with family
The kidnapped story is so messed up and I think y’all totally missed the potential influence of culture. In many countries, women are seen as OBJECTS. Nothing more. That’s why kidnapping is so common, women aren’t seen as people. And then women are told they need to be good wives despite being abused. PLUS, he took her away from her family!!!! This is so gross and it’s so disappointing that y’all didn’t even consider that.
Thank you for saying this! My grandmother was kidnapped by her husband in Mexico and she had to live with that trauma for the rest of her life. And so did her children, seeing how sad she was. Just because OPs parents seem happy now doesn't mean it's okay. He held a human hostage. Wtf.
GUYYS THERE'S A NEW UPDATE AND IT'S EFFING CRAZY!! She's obviously getting a divorce but some family member told her that husband and MIL want to fight for custody anyways. She updated after all the interactions she's got from the podcast!
Fight for custody ??? They literally didn’t even want anything to do with the baby now they want custody ?! Hell no. MIL is giving “I wish it was me” vibes and it’s getting weird. Extreme enmeshment 🥴
the last one is...... concerning at the least. the father KIDNAPPED someone. He took a woman against her will. The mom said "he was young dumb and in love" and while that may be true, he K I D N A P P E D her. He didnt hit on her a little too long at a coffee shop or cheat on her. He kept her *prisoner*. She had to (and wanted to) escape him. And then she.... married him? I can see how you would never look at them the samee ever again. Just because they love each other now doesnt mean it wasnt extremely concerning behavior from BOTH parties. Can you imagine being her parents and watching the person who kidnapped your child become their HUSBAND?! You dont just wake up one day and go "im going to kidnap someone today for funzies." There had to be a lot of darkness there before he escalated to kidnapping. Good LORD just because they are in love now doesnt make that ok. It would be really hard for me to have any respect for either of them. I wouldnt be able to see them as anything other than captor and victim in a twisted love story. There was clearly some opportunities for intense therapy that they did not take advantage of and should have.
I absolutely agree. The parents are completely justified in their feelings. I bet if we had their side there would be a lot more. Also I do wonder about the mother brushing this ish off. How would she react if someone kidnapped her kid and then they were back after a while? Would she just shrug?
Not excusing his behaviour at all… at all it is so disturbing. But like when you say there has to be darkness i would like to add in a point. My parents are from India and a lot of media there (movies and television) in all regions is extremely problematic. Like for years… and even today at times, the only way they showed a man pursuing a woman was by stalking her. So I would go on to say there could be a lot of media influence in his behaviour. There are many regions where media is even more problematic and regressive. Just a bit to add
exactly - my thought here too is how do we know he didn't do similar or worse when he was a minor so it also wouldn't show up on his record (i think?) ? just think that level of trust would be shattered between myself and my parents forever, but they're still my parents
I agree but in certain eastern European and western asian countries (former USSR) bride kidnapping is a popular thing. Everyone was doing that in the 80/90s sooo its possible they are also from that country hence the mom finding it romantic
I definitely agree! Also, I think we're missing the point. OP's mom justified the kidnapping by saying that he never hurt her. Maybe he didn't hurt her because he didn't get the chance. If the maid never showed up, there's a possibility that the mom could've been tormented and would have never seen the light of day again.
This is my first time watching, and I am absolutely appalled by what was said in the last story. I would like for you guys to think of the perspective the parent of the lady that had been kidnapped. You find out that your daughter is missing for a full 24 hours you don’t know if she is alive if she’s dead she’s been SA. When the ordeal is finally over you lose your daughter to this man and they leave the county. What a nightmare.
The nurse at the bbq situation- uhhh did y’all miss where she said they have the family get togethers every other week & she takes off & goes for the big main events?! Nurses can’t just Willy Nilly take off EVERY week when a dumb bbq or party happens bc they have real lives to save- or better yet no show no call for it- y’all really missed the beginning of the post that you read🤦🏻♀️
This one blew my mind - straight up divorce. The fact that he called her colleagues, let the air out of her tyres and kidnapped her THEN turned it back on her 🚩🚩🚩
and the way they didn't even grasp how bizard and honestly sick the kidnapping was. Then saying she shouldn't have taken his car?????? Like he shouldn't have kidnapped her period. It's literally victim blaming. they wouldn't put her at any fault if anyone else kidnapped her. And literally, like they said in the next story, "it always starts as kidnapping"
The last story kinda triggered me. when my grandmother was 16 she was kidnapped by my step Grandpa and was raped for days her family made her marry him. I thought he was a good guy and they had a decent relationship until I was 15 when the story came out. I hate him to this day. She downplayed what he did to her as well she never said that he raped her but it came up that he did . That's why her family made them getting married cuz their religion or some bull.
This is automatically where my head went to. I’m so beyond sorry for what happened to your Grandmother. Obvi saying sorry isn’t even close to enough to say to even try to express how horrific this must have been for your Grandmother. The even more frightening thing is to even try to wrap my head around all of the many, many women that must have gone through the same exact situation. But either no one spoke about it ever or ever knew.
This happened to my mothers aunt and she “had to marry” the man who violated her. It’s considered an even greater tragedy bc she was engaged to the love of her life when this happened and she lost her chance with him bc of damn purity religious laws. Everyone always said she was the kindest person beloved by all and died of a massive heart attack at a young age bc of the trauma of the loss and being married to her rapist
I'm so surprised by Alejandra's initial reaction to the kidnapped wife story. The woman works as a nurse and in the initial post says they hang out as a family all the time and she makes an effort to be at the big ones. Nurses work crazy hours so maybe she doesn't want to spend all her free time with a family that clearly sees her as an object. ( the fact that he kidnapped her and thought that would be fine and his family also didn't seem to have an issue with it confirms that to me.) Marrying into a family does NOT mean you have to constantly socialize with them. This man married a nurse with a busy schedule. If you can't deal with your wife's priorities then get a divorce, you can't just take away her free will to choose because it's "embarrassing you." I mean that fact that it's not even about spending time with her but just about what his family thinks says SO much to me. He literally doesn't care about her. There's NO middle ground on this. The guy is a 100% the asshole. I don't care what the context was or if she hadn't seen his family all year, or if they could have picked a day that worked better for her. IT DOESN'T MATTER. She said no and his response was to sabotage her car and kidnap her. He's a controlling c*nt. She could have lost her job because of this.......he'd probably like that. I hope she leaves him and finds someone who can support her career.
Omg you said everything I was thinking! I’d also like to add, the husband tried to find someone to cover her shift and couldn’t! OP says he called around begging people to take the shift and, since he decided to kidnap her, obviously getting the shift covered wasn’t an option! I’d leave that fucking guy, there’s NO EXCUSE for his behavior.
I seriously thought the same thing!!! I was so annoyed with her. I stopped watching it because I was like ewwww. Like how could she say the wife was shitty for not being able to get her shift covered???? Sounds like she has some weird expectations and problems… and the whole thing “YOU HAVE TO HANG OUT WITH YOUR HUSBANDS FAMILY” like girl you actually DO NOT have to. A good husband will understand.
agreed, it bothered the shit out of me on how she reacted. Its made clear in the story that she has a very busy schedule due to her job. I hated the take Alejandra had because she blatantly ignored the fact that shes a nurse, she tries to go to these events but its harder for her to make it due to her job. The man is clearly manipulative, the girl is NTA
Exactly my thoughts ! she says she does go to family events but just not all of them. If HE wants to spend so much time with his family it's his choice, His priority and it doesn't have to be hers. And how childish to break her tires and force her to come and be somewhere she doesn't want to be ? Nobody would be happy about it, he certainly would have haha... and then She's the bad guy even though what she did is not even as bad as what He did in the first place ? AND he totally deserved it.
Yeah, and the one girl admitted that she not only got her dog from a breeder, but she cropped her dog's ears. That's such a cruel thing to do just for aesthetic purposes.
@Victoria-pr4xe okay, I'm with you on the cropping, but not all breeders are bad. Yes adoption is great but sometimes people want a very specific breed and there's absolutely nothing wrong with going to an ethical, responsible, breeder who makes sure the dogs are well cared for, happy, healthy, ans ensure every dog they've bred gets a home.
@@LaylaTheLateBloomer I mean, what else can you do at that point? It’s been 40 years, they’re married, and the mom herself is saying that it’s fine now and she got over it. Obviously, kidnapping is still wrong, but this story is just so bizarre, what else can you do but try to reason it at that point?
In story 4 i think they failed to understand that the nurse went to EVERY MAJOR EVENT (according to her) My blood boiled when they started to kinda defend the husband, he’s a criminal
I was already defending her but shoot! Yes, give this woman LOTS of time to find coverage and she'll attend those events!!! That kidnapping makes me SO MAD.
Yeah, I was so mad too, like have they got no idea how health care workers live? it’s not like someone will just run and cover for you, everyone is overworked and sometimes they can’t even take time off on MAJOR HOLIDAYS! it’s crazy that he was so entitled he thought he could just force her
Especially bc she says she's COVERING A SHIFT which means its not even her scheduled shift, it's SOMEONE ELSE'S, someone else is relying on her and he's not even considerate to that!
Yeah, they never mentioned that part when they talked about her going to events. She has a hectic work schedule, but she always makes sure she goes to a few big events. That means she's probably spending quite a few of her only vacation days on him and his family. I disagree with them on the "marrying their family" part. I don't think I owe it to them to hang out with their family, I'll do it if I want to and like the people there, but I'm not "marrying their family" I'm marrying them. I think the wife is doing plenty already and the husband should be tested because he sounds like a lunatic.
@@liamorrison4484 THAT. Sure when you are marrying someone you should maybe try to hang out with them, but that’s not always possible because of work and stuff or maybe they just don’t match. If your husband has a shitty family but defends you from them, you wouldn’t critisice the person for marrying into the family, cause they didn’t marry because of the family.
@@liamorrison4484 You’re really assuming that it means a couple of times a year she’s probably just speaking about weddings and graduations which happened every few years. And when you married someone you do marry into someone’s family.. How would you feel if your husband never went to any of your family events birthday parties are barbecues and you’re always there alone making you look like a joke.
@@juanmedina254 more like christmas, thanksgiving, easter etc. work is work. is he willing to cover her part of her bills if she ended up losing her job because of that stunt? what if something happened to a patient while she skipped her scheduled time? she could be held partially liable. there’s so much at play and teasing should not warrant something so drastic.
y’all’s take on the kidnapping story surprised me a lot. i found out my dad stole my moms car when they were married and THAT was insane to me and i already knew he was a dick. finding out that your dad kidnapped your mom is life changing. you can never be sure what happened then and what he did to her. i feel like y’all treated it way too lightly and clearly the family has some major problems with it for a reason
I think they saw it as if OP has had great experiences with both parents, never saw any red flags/triggering things and was so close to both, why a bad mistake cloud all the good he’s done for all of them. Not saying what he did was okay but he was 16, stupid, impulsive, rich and no parents around or anyone to correctly guide him. I saw it on the psychological level, did he do it to get his parents attention? Did he just want the company and not feel so alone ? He must of grown up with abandonment issues(although he lived with them, they weren’t around.) I think because of his age and because nothing happened as well OP expresses how well taken care of, loved she was and how happy they all were, is why they were light on this story.
i agree , that was so wild to me. i usually watch this show just bc i like hearing reddit stories but their takes on that story has definitely turned me off
@@vannessagarcia7093 yeah I was very disappointed and I haven’t listened or watched them since! There is other really good Reddit podcasts and UA-cam videos that I’ve discovered!
I may not personally be a nurse but, my sister is one. For a nurse to get time off can be quite difficult. The issue was not the wife not wanting to go, but because she couldn't go. Hospitals are often understaffed, and even then need a lot of people to care for patients. She may not have vacation days left for the non-important events. Also many nurses may be unwilling or unable to cover her shift due to: personal plans or having already worked long hours. The husband DEFLATED her tires, and didn't take her to work. People depend on nurses to survive, and when you don't have as many workers show up as planned, things can get chaotic and could even cause someone to have serious health complications. My sister often struggles to get time off for plans, and even then is exhausted after her shifts. Another issue is that sometimes you need that shift to cover the bills. My sister sometimes struggles to make ends meet because of medical school debt.
I think his problem is she never goes to any event which is annoying but he married her knowing she is a nurse also in years of marriage and never physically see family that sounds like she not trying that much
Imagine thinking having your spouse at a family event is more important than someone elses life. Mind baffaling. Especially since it's not like someone else covers her shift, no, he just decidet for her not to go to work that day, which could cost her the job. Those are the kind of people who would poke holes in the condom. Run girl
Alejandra CROPPED her dogs ears?? Illegal in many states and often times is done leaving the dog in long-term pain. I'm surprised I haven't seen more comments on this. Given all of the smaller criticisms they have addressed I really hope they address this one.
Depending on the breed, croping ears and docking tails are for the dogs' health. Tails can break and split for the bigger breeds. And for the ears when dogs shake their head they can break the blood vessels causing the ears to expand with blood, or they play rough with other dogs and can rip them. Not to mention the other various medical issues that can insue.
@@MizzSlettikthis is true. My husband has a pit bull and his ears weren't cropped and we paid a boat load of money to fix his ears because he kept getting messed up ears. But he hasn't done his ears still just make sure to clean and check his ears frequently.
Honestly, the fact that Morgan and Alejandra are playing some kind of defense for OP's dad who literally kidnapped a woman kind of makes me think less of them. Like I think I actually can't watch them anymore
And the fact that the girl on the right straight up admitted to being ok with animal abuse because she requested her innocent puppy have its ears chopped off for aesthetics 😭 like I was super into them for a few days but this episode really turned me off :/
@@deijix cropping isn’t chopping them off it’s forcing them to grow straight up, still just a disgusting in my opinion. It leaves many dogs in permanent pain for the rest of their lives. That being said there are some breeds where cropping is actually extremely beneficial because of the type of ears the dog has, when shaking their heads it can rip the blood vessels and get a dogs version of “cauliflower ear”.
I NEVER comment but the last story was like 😱😱 When Morgan was saying she would still forgive her mom because of all the nice things MY JAW DROPPED! I actually recently went through something like this two years ago. I found out my dad wasn’t who I thought he was and now he’s no longer in my life. All the good memories
Exactly! I stopped watching the video after they kept trying to justify it with well they were nice to me the good memories are still good memories idk personally if it was me I would be shocked and not able to let it go so easily they literally kidnapped someone and it being their own mom makes it even more messed up to me.
For the one about "stealing" the car, she literally says she's makes an effort to go to the big events yall are acting like she doesn't go to any of them. If you pick up someone's shift to cover then you can't go back on your word and give it to someone else. He literally kidnapped her in order to make her go to a BBQ party so that he didn't get teased for being the only one whose wife wasn't there.
Right?! I don’t understand why Alejandra was accusing OP of “not making an effort.” I don’t think OP didn’t “want” to get her shift covered, I think she wasn’t *able* to. I don’t think OP “didn’t care,” as Alejandra claims… I think OP was pissed and that tone came across through the post. And I, too, would be pissed if I was unable to go to my partner’s BBQ due to work and my partner tried to mess with my check by deflating my tires & kidnapping me. Her husband is displaying allll of his red flags: begging her to miss work for his family’s BBQ, going behind her back to call her coworkers to try to get her shift covered, deflating her tires, lying to her, kidnapping her, and then gaslighting her by claiming *she’s* the manipulator. She needs to get out before it gets worse.
Not to mention that she’s not just sitting around at home not going out of spite. This is her career. He should have had an idea of the type of commitment she has to it before marrying her AND with the last two and a half years being so absolutely crazy due to the pandemic can we just give the poor woman the benefit of the doubt that she’s doing her best?
@@eckilla right like I'd be thinking of divorce at that point because if he can stoop as low as flattening my tires. Lying about it, and kidnapping me what else will he do
@@CassandraHoggins right as I said she tries to come to the big events, like it's a BBQ (unless it was a big event celebrating something which was not stated so), that's not as important or big as working in a hospital
Okay last story: that would ABSOLUTELY change the way I view my parents. It would throw all of their decisions new and old into question bc I know that their capable of making some real shit decisions. Like imagine he had gone totally off the rails and done unspeakable things. You wouldn't brush that off just bc it was 40 years ago and he's been nice since then.
Regarding the husband who kidnapped the wife to go to the family Barbecue and leave her Hospital shift uncovered ..... I guarantee you that if it had been a daughter married to a doctor, instead of a son married to a nurse, no family member would have complained about the absence at all.
That 3rd story is EXACTLY why I never let ANYONE take my daughter without me or my husband being there when we were in the hospital. We legit took turns sleeping because I was terrified she would be switched or just straight up kidnapped while we were asleep. I'm still so so thankful we did that to this day. We were so freaking tired, but it was so worth it to us
I'm sorry what!!! If I find out my partner slept with their SIBLING, there's nothing to forgive or consider. It's absolutely disgusting and fucked up. Edit: It sounds to me like most of these women are dating/married to very childish immature men who should not by any means be husbands or dads.
RE your edit. i think a lot of men are not taught to be mature. i've met a few that never had to fully face the consequences of their actions, they behaviour would always be excused, especially by their own mothers. Men often aren't held accountable and it shows in their relationships to their partners and children
@@IlkaWaffy i totally agree with you. It’s a societal problem from the roots. If we held more men accountable for all kinds of actions, the kind of men in the stories would exist much less in society.
yeah.. how about adopt because you can still pick the gender of the dog you adopt… people who buy dogs are so artificial and weird. it’s like they do it as a status or looks thing. poor fucking dogs getting their ears and tails cropped for no reason other than to look cool for their owners? it’s sick
Hi! For the “save face” in certain cultures from the last story…It’s true. It has happened to my mom’s friends in Mexico during the 80’s. Women would get kidnapped by men who wanted them so they would be obligated to marry them due to rumors that could occur in their small town. It’s disgusting and sad how close minded people are.
Second Story Final Update (NOT MY STORY) Hi everyone! I ended up deleting the app for a while, but now that I’m feeling settled again I figured I owe it to all of you to give one final update. First off, I won the court case! It was a long and draining road and I won’t go into a ton of detail (privacy and legal reasons) but it was all thanks to Reddit 😭 someone connected me to a great lawyer and everything worked out exactly the way it needed to. I owe it all to you guys, thank you so so much. And second, I gave birth to my sweet baby girl just a few short weeks ago. She is perfect and everything I needed. Babies heal the soul more than you could ever imagine. I couldn’t have done it all without my sister cheering me on through everything ❤ There have been lots of messages and questions in my inbox lately, so I’ll do my best to answer all that I possibly can (newborn life 😅) but just know I’m thankful to every single one of you for the endless support. I truly believe this app saved mine and my baby girl’s lives💗
I am watching this for the first time today and I cried actual tears seeing this update from less than two weeks ago. As someone who is pregnant with her first child, my heart absolutely broke hearing your situation. I get so frustrated seeing people complain about the sex of their child and to have that from a father. It's absurd. I am SO happy for you and your daughter and I know you will have the best life away from those toxic people. Congratulations to you both! When my baby is born in April, I will hug them close and think of you both. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m so sorry that this happened to you. I’m so glad everything shook out the way it did and now you have your beautiful daughter. You will be able to help her navigate this with being brought up without a father yourself and she’ll be better for it. I can’t believe he’s willing to leave yall behind. You didn’t deserve this ❤
Congratulations and I am so happy you won your case and you now have a happy healthy beautiful baby girl!! I hope the 2 of you have a beautiful life and may all you twos hopes and dreams come true! ❤❤❤❤❤
For the nursing story I am absolutely livid that they are saying that OP was also at fault. If they have been paying attention to their own story, she says in the beginning that it’s not like she doesn’t go to ANY family events. She does try to go to the big ones. OP was. DEFINITELY NOT the asshole. Maybe it would have been a little different if she ABSOLUTELY DID NOT GO TO ANY family event, but she did try to make it. On top of that I’m surprised they don’t understand that for nursing if she were to not go into work that day they could technically take away her license. It’s called “Patient abandonment”, it is a real cause for them, taking away her license. So all that hard work you put into nursing school enter passing the NCLEX all that time and effort would have been wasted. Her career could have been over. They do not understand the gravity of the situation, that her husband and put her in.
The husband that left, because his momma told him he got a daughter because of the Chinese Horoskop is really suspicious. I truly don’t believe it happened like that
Honestly, I feel like maybe she (the mom) lied to him about soemthing. How does having a girl make you block everything and not want to be in your child’s life all of a sudden?
I have a feeling that the Mom threatened to remove her son from her will if he doesn't do what she says. She internalized social mysoginy to where she hates women except for herself is such pick me energy .
@@iridescentsolace there was an update, op waited for him outside his job, he said he was excited for the girl but then realized how conniving and manipulative and ab*sive op had been in their relationship and wanted a divorce, then told her he would sign off his rights for the "thing", but op found out he and his mom actually wanted to fight for full custody of her baby.
Story 3: no one is switching back a 5 year old. That’s insane, and so traumatic. The best case senario is they get to know there bio daughter as an aunt or close relationship vibe.
op posted an update!!! they found their bio daughter and she was in the foster care system, and they were able to adopt her and introduce her as their other daughters sister!
@@beetleebugg what's sad is the other parents probably realized she wasn't theirs and put her up for adoption :( or the hospital couldn't find the parents and put her in the system themselves
You guys are totally tripping about the last story, how could you ever look at your dad the same way when he kidnapped a women?? Especially the reason that the mom probably felt like she had to marry him…definitely not right
Thats what I thought! I shared a similar story; Basically at 14 my mom kidnapped me. I’m safe with my dad, and this was 7 years ago, but I can NEVER see my mother the same again. I cut her out of my life and went through hella therapy. I could never see anyone like this in the same light as before. Ever. I don’t get some of their opinions sometimes, and this is one of them
and Morgan said “it’s not an abusive relationship.” As if we can rely on the child’s experience as the full truth of the parents’ relationship. It’s possible he was very abusive to her behind closed doors… And I’m sorry but claiming he was young & made a bad decision… I too was 16/17 but I knew not to take people against their will. If he was old enough to operate a motorcycle, he was old enough to know he was wrong.
i feel very conflicted about it because we really DONT KNOW how everything really went down. Did the mum feel like she was forced into a marriage or did they genuinely fall in love (way) later? I think there is a lot of potential for nuance here that could make this situation a bit more of a grey area that being said, of course it would shift the way you see your own father. maybe it wouldnt completely destroy what you had but it definitely would change some stuff
In regards to the switched-at-birth story: this may sound coldhearted, but I’ve had it with men using insecurity as an excuse. EVERYONE has insecurities. I mean, women go their entire lives with countless industries actively making them feel insecure. We have to learn to deal with it. Get therapy, work on yourself. Find REAL support, not anonymous online strangers. Using your insecurity to justify that kind of behavior is childish and ridiculous.
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING. Look I understand that this is a very specific rare case where his instincts that this child wasn't his progeny was right, But... Why marry someone, have a baby with them and THEN choose to stop communicating? His true colours came out when he chose to believe the internet over talking to the person he swore an oath to. What an absolute tool. She and child deserve a parent who loves *UNCONDITIONALLY* Conditional love leads to trauma that poisons their development. If that were my husband, I would be filing for divorce because they just proved to me that I'm not their life partner, I was just daycare.
Okay, but going off this, he said his insecurities started during covid, but if he thought his wife cheated it would have been at least 6 years ago, given their daughter is 5. So it doesn't line up with covid times... so he just sat around for 6 years without saying anything??
@@kayceeburris How does it take 5 years before instincts to kick in? You're right, Hella sus. Who wants to bet he's cheating and is projecting on her but instead of dropping that bomb, it went nuclear with the baby swap plot twist?
Does that change the fact that no one was technically wrong? He was right in his emotions. How would you feel if you got one but two different tests saying they were your kid. Could he had communicated kinda, but still In any other Reddit story yall would cheer OP for getting their evidence to they could divorce their ass
@@Lena-bu6zn What!? Please tell me which story you think that happened in! I think they are very careful about NOT doing that, to the point they over-excuse men's bad behavior. I assumed the ladies overlook men behaving badly because nobody thinks men are capable of behaving well. A minor example was that ugly-mouthed, threatening paternity testing husband - we accept him blaming being a jerko on Covid? Those anti-women, conspiracy-loving hate groups he was drawn to are nasty people. Let's pretend she WAS cheating, why accuse her of also plotting economic malfeasance? (his excuse for threatening to throw her out of her own home - which is, by the way, actionable.). He has a nasty ugly soul and probably would never have thought to test the child if he weren't cheating himself. Just one example of where I think they bend over backwards to accept men's deplorable behavior as just fine and dandy, . I understand why they feel they have to do that for the channel, and I'm not complaining, - I'm just shocked you had the opposite view.
I just wanna say Alejandra’s perspective on dog breeding which is a problem because of the overflow of shelter animals and on calling a nurse an asshole for … being a nurse with a busy schedule really ticked me off. He knew what he was getting into when he married a nurse. You have zero reasons to go to every family function and she said she goes to big events. So that’s ridiculous to say she’s wrong. And also dog breeding is a huge problem. We shouldn’t be encouraging it.
Alejandra never even said that she was the a-hole for being a nurse, she said she was KIND OF the a-hole for not coming to family events more often IF she could. The whole point of two hot takes is that there are two opinions, and Alejandra has a different opinion. That doesn’t make it wrong and just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean you should be putting words in her mouth
My grandfather kidnapped my grandmother after he found out she was engaged to another man. He took her to his house and didn’t do anything to her. After a couple days he let her go and she tried to go back home, but her parents turned her away. She was forced to marry my grandfather. I’m glad that man died before I got to meet him, the whole situation infuriates me. On another note: Love the podcast! Please don’t ever stop ❤️
That's sooo messed up. Honestly, being kidnapped is probably traumatizing on it's own. Feeling powerless can mess a person up. Hope your family is doing good!
I had to stop the episode and come to UA-cam to check if I heard that right. What is wrong with people? I'm so glad that cropping is illegal where I live.

the “crop the ears” about getting a dog really threw me off. ppl please do not do that to your dogs and ALWAYS try to adopt when you can rather than going to a breeder… 😐
Kind of bothered me that Alejandra said she chose to have her dogs ears cropped. It’s illegal to crop dog ears for aesthetic purposes in my province and it shocks me whenever someone from somewhere else says it
@@hayamirin6795 My dude, GSDs have pricked ears, not cropped ears. "Cropped" means "cut". Plus, all GSDs have pricked ears, so you wouldn't have to specify ear type when choosing a puppy out of a litter.

@@megs.127 she said “predetermine” her puppy so before the puppy was born she had a list of requirements and then when the puppy that matches her requirements is born she gets first dibs essentially. So she had to have REQUESTED that the poor puppies ears be chopped off 😭
The fact that the sister in the first story brought it up during an argument as some sort of “gotch’ya” means that she viewed it as more than just “practice” she thought it was real and serious and was something that would hurt her brother’s relationship. She romantically loves her brother.
The story with the nurse was NTA. She could have lost her job and the nurse before her would have had to work her shift basically. The husband is being petty and manipulative. Not everyone is a family person. Covid has been hard on nurses and it still is. The husband clearly doesn't understand this.
I would never be able to look at my family the same if my dad kidnapped my mom. He kidnapped her, manipulated her, groomed her, & flew her to another country away from her family & outside influences (friends family) that could have helped her see this wasn’t okay.
I just wanted to scream when they were talking about dark romance or whatever that they are completely missing the point. I honestly don’t watch that stuff bc I don’t like it but I think the whole point is that those are fictional. For things like that or like kinks and shit the whole point is the fact that it’s not real in the sense that a story like this is. And I’m not a psychologist either but I’d bet money that it happens that quickly. Especially when the relationship is continued afterwards. 1:32:15
The pregnancy story got me floored! I’m finding out the gender of our baby next month and my man wants a girl sooo bad because his siblings had boys, even his family is hoping for a girl. I told him it doesn’t matter to me, I have a boy and girl from a previous relationship so as long as baby is healthy, but holy crap to leave and ghost his wife because it’s not a boy 🤯 I’d like to know what he will say when he realizes you CANT just choose what gender you’re having. 🤦🏻♀️
My husband and I had a huge conversation about wanting a specific gender. He wants a girl and I’m okay either way I’m happy if baby is healthy but I told him he needs to accept boy or girl or we aren’t having kids (ttc) so we made a pact no matter what happy and healthy is the only thing we want and we have a boy name picked out for sure but the list of names for girls is longgggg so we’ll see which girl name we agree on 😆
People who aren’t prepared to love any child unconditionally should not have children. It’s literally that simple. I don’t understand the people who have the mindset that having one gender over another would be preferred. If it’s your kid, you should love it no matter what.
“It doesn’t count if it’s his sister!?” So whenever he wants something other than his wife he can run to his sister even in the future according to this philosophy. *also it sounds like sister is still over attached to him with her trying to rat him out, it was like she was provoking OP to leave him
The nurse story reminds me so much of story "husband lied to boss about MC" from the unresolved episode. What is with these insecure men that are so unhappy with their wifes jobs and how much time they invest into their careers? How can they think it is okay to manipulate their partners to get them to show up to not even that important family events. Letting the air out of someones tires and them lying to them about where you are driving them is just so fucked up to me.
I can't believe Alejandra had a problem with what she did... That man is a psycho and she should have driven that car straight across state lines and as far away from him as possible
Story number 4 had me pissed. She literally said she does go to the big events but misses out because the husband just goes to many. He had no right to kidnap his wife, deflate her tires, and on top of that call HER manipulative??? It's work, WORK. Versus a silly barbeque. It wouldn't matter if she always had to work and missed out on important events too. She just can't go and that's the end of it. I worked in security and had to miss 3 Christmases, 3 years in a row with the same team. Most of them were married and had kids. That's just life.
I thought she clearly read that she makes it to big events….so the whole second part of that conversation seemed irrelevant. He’s the asshole! She’s done nothing wrong. As someone who works 70 hour weeks and cares for how my reliability is received at work….the idea of calling out for something I stressed I wouldn’t be able to do against my will sounds like hell.
the guy who took his wife to the family barbecue reminds of the guy who called his wife’s boss and told them she had a miscarriage so she would have tome off and go to a family event. i know in-laws and family is important but some people are just UNHINGED and scare tf out of me
When I gave birth my biggest fear was having a mix up or worse someone just taking him. But all that was settled and helped by the hospital. When he was born he basically was fitted with 2 ankle monitors. One matched a bracelet I had and it was used so that only me or the person with the 2nd bracelet could have him. The second was the one that helped my fear. This one set off an alarm if it got within a few feet of the ward exits. And if it was cut off triggered a lock down of the hospital starting on floor one ( I was on 5). Hell they even taught me how to make sure the nurses and doctors ids were real. And i could ask for their ids at anytime. Never accept a hospital or care that doesn't help ease your fears.
I like them but their being mean to the husband for wanting a paternity test when they should be a basic right cause people made mistakes and don’t like admit to them and in the end that’s good cause they found out that is not their child and their is missing
@@piercejones4355 I don't think they're being mean because he wanted a test. The problem is the way he went about it. And then also the way he confronted yhe woman about it. If he had concerns then he should have talked to her. But he went straight for the "you cheated and the child isn't mine" and now he has caused a whole new set of issues. If a concern weighs that much on your mind while in a relationship you should be able to talk to your partner about it. Why did he have to do it behind her back?
What kind of stinks, and I guess is simultaneously confidence-boosting, is this story had an update that was so full of holes and suspicious, that it likely was a fake after all... But I'm glad you were able to find a place that eased your anxieties and worked with you.
Please don’t crop your dogs ears btw. Sorry Alejandra, ily but that made me cringe so hard. Her poor puppy. :( I’m sure you’re good to him, but know next time that it’s not necessary and making those “aesthetic” changes to your dog can only bring more harm than good.
You do realize that for a lot of dogs it is recommended to have cropped ears not for aesthetic but for their well being right???? Granted this could be a situation were it is for aesthetic purposes but making a blanket statement without all things considered is not in the best interest of everyone.
@@jeremyfenn5238I really don't know anything about the subject but tbh it sounds like a circumcision. Many people believe it to have "health" benefits but it's basically just mutilating a baby for no reason. If dogs really do need their ears trimmed then we've failed them as a species and don't deserve them. We've fucked them up beyond all recognition and it's so fucking unfair. Like pugs, they disgust me not because I hate them, but because their whole existence is a testament to humanity's hubris.
I think it’s weird how they were hating on the husband so hard for wanting to leave his wife after the negative test just to find out the kid wasn’t theirs to begin with lol like ??? He was on to something 😂??
I was weirded out too. Switch genders and they would have absolutely supported an emotional reaction. Some wording was extreme like "scorched earth", but yes a guy who cheated would likely be on the couch, or out of the house, and it would be called justified. I have only listened to a few of the podcasts, and liked them enough to watch more, but I have felt weird about every take on this episode. Maybe an off day? I don't know. When I am upset I can't have rational conversations. It just gives off men can't be emotional. At least they listened to his side, but I feel like a female wouldn't have needed that defense post to get the benefit of the doubt. I know narcissists who would double down with tests suggestions. I haven't listened to them enough to know if they would be like "oh yeah, check the phone..." Yes, ideally every relationship would put communication first, but they tore into this guy for a normal reaction.
IKR?!? We're in a pandemic, of COURSE she's going to be busy. Also his family is shitty for mocking him, his wife is out saving lives, which is something he should reiterate to them, not blame it on her. And then all the other crazy shit he did...If i were her, this relationship might not last longer
Also all this shit they’re saying about “every relationship is give and take” and insinuating that the nurse needs to sacrifice sometimes. Ok and what about her partner? Where’s his need to give - all he’s doing is taking. They spent so much time talking about how the nurse should make an effort to go every once in a while but she literally said she goes to the big events. I find more and more they’re missing key details of the original post in their takes which is just annoying
The last story - we don’t know what happened all those years ago. The mom said he didn’t hurt her, but that could be a lie. It’s weird to me that she would find him to ask why he took her. I think the truth is way worse that what the parents are claiming. It’s wrong & y’all went way to easy on him.
Definitely need more information to make a clear picture of the entire situation. Not saying what he did was right. It was completely in the wrong. I just feel like there’s something deeper to the situation that isn’t being said. I feel like the kids definitely need therapy to work through what’s going on in their minds. I can’t imagine being in that situation.
@@crabby4808 My thing is , the mother escaped .. imagine if she didn’t? what would he have done to her ? would he have killed her ? What if he did more to her than they’re leading on because she obviously has Stockholm syndrome/ a trauma bond. God forbid but we don’t know .. No sane or completely mentally stable 16 year old boy is gonna see a college student and think “i want that one.” and hold her captive
with the nurse story, a lot of nurses cant leave before the next nurse comes in and relieves them and if she would have stayed it definitely wouldnt have been good
This!! I work in healthcare and the nurse from the night shift wasn’t able to leave this morning until 11 am when her shift ended at 6 am because there was so much work left to do.
I had the same thought. Not only was he jeopardizing his own wife’s job, but he was also potentially jeopardizing another nurse’s job. Imagine working a 12 or 14 hour shift and not being able to leave because your relief never showed up. That’s just a recipe for disaster. Not only is it risking the person’s health who has already been working, but it’s risking their patients’ health. Exhaustion leads to cognitive processing delays and major mistakes; in healthcare, major mistakes can kill.
Story 4 is horrible. OP is at NO FAULT. zero. None. Nada. Shes a medical professional and she HAS TO do her job. The husband kidnapping her, manipulating her, laughing about and admitting he "tricked her" that's fucking disgusting... I'm glad she escaped and embarrassed her shitty husband.
damn i never understood the previous comments u guys made in podcasts about alejandra getting hate but this episode was full of some pretty controversial takes very different then the newer episodes
I have some thoughts on the Monster Dad story. I get trying to understand where the dad was coming from, but I don't think it's fair to come up with explanations based off of zero information for his sake. Kidnapping is wrong, it's evil, I don't care why it may have happened. If you don't have the moral sense to understand that if a person is terrified and you are scaring them to stay there with you against their will, you are not normal and are not a good person. There is a difference between not being proactive with helping people, and then committing horrible acts upon people. There is a difference between not caring about people and what happens to them, and then doing something harmful to a person. Something is wrong there with the parents. I don't know how the mom managed to "fall in love" with him after he did that to her, but something isn't adding up. You don't fall in love with someone who burns down your home, you don't fall in love with your rapist, you don't fall in love with someone who's committed a crime against you or the things you love. You may love someone who ends up doing something horrible to you, but you don't fall in love with them after they do that. You just don't. I could not see my father the same way, nor my mother, but especially my father. Knowing that he had the capability to do that to someone harmless would terrify me, no matter how good of a father he used to be. I would need to know all the information, the exact things he did to scare her, how she got in touch with him, how they got to know each other after that. Even then, I would distance myself. That is too large a risk to take. Also saying that he didn't "hurt her" or kill her, so it's technically not that bad? That was really hard for me to hear. That man took someone against her will just because he wanted her. It is not the same as stealing a candy bar from the store, this is directly against someone else who's life is solely in your hands at that point. It doesn't matter the culture or how you were brought up, you have some semblance of what's evil against another human. You are not born wanting to hurt others.
Right. This is what I'm thinking. It's a bizarre situation all around. I think it was a bit off putting too for them both to be like "it wouldn't change how I view my parents if they kidnapped someone because of what all they've done for me" Yeah, but what about that person they've inflicted trauma onto now? Whose going to have to deal with the fact that they had been kidnapped for they rest of their life 🤔 Because i can guarantee not everyone who gets kidnapped marries their kidnapper and ends up like OPs parents.
On the last story, as a decent of someone that was kidnapped, it was very “normal” at the time in Mexico, it really is jarring. I can never look at the person the same, and will always be look at her as a victim. I could honesty not stand when it got brought up and everyone said the same thing, That was how it was done. It’s horrible to think that people would just brush it off, or worse give her away at the “wedding” because she was ruined by social standards. And she’s not the only one I know that that happened to, which is even scarier to think that I know people that were forced to get married to someone that took them away. Can’t really understand how y’all took it so lightly, as that would definitely change the way I view someone. As for the “not hurting her”, he did hurt her. Emotionally, mentally, and probably ruined her way of thinking.
I remember an article of a ex nurse who admitted on her death bed to switching multiple babies at birth for the fun of it. Sadly its probably more common than we think.
YAY! Happy Two Hot Take Thursday! 😀 Also, call me childish, but if I was a man and 2 paternity tests came back to me negative--I would be inconsolable and would not believe a word my wife said out of sheer turmoil lol. Crazy to hear real-life "switched at birth" stories. They better be set for life financially from that lawsuit. Awesome episode! I wish every episode were 2 hours long.
Completely agree. I couldn’t understand why they kept saying the husband was in the wrong before the update when evidence was pointing to his speculations being correct. I’d be mad at my partner too.
What I know from my mom who works as a nurse it's incredibly hard to take time off, and getting people to take your shift can mess with their lives and your reputation as a reliable worker as well. My mother is in a position where she's basically one of the head nurses, and they're _always_ criminally understaffed. Therefore her employers have to know that she'll be there, or her entire floor falls apart. There have been times that she's worked full shifts 12 days in a row because there aren't enough people. It's really shit. My father is an asshole about it and always on her about taking on more and more work, knowing that we desperately need every penny they make. Trust, this man does not respect nor care to understand her line of work. She's said that she takes time off for the most important events, and I'm sure she wants to be home for the holidays and a truly _free_ few days as well. (No visiting family is _not_ a free day to everyone). That's already a lot of time off in this line of work that's usually requested at the beginning of the year/month and schedules are made around that. If someone else has already requested major time off/ switched multiple shifts already for a multiple day endeavour around the same time, good luck getting free from work for a barbecue. That's all I can say 🤷🏾♀️
On that kidnapping story, have we considered both the parents are disturbed af. Because obviously what he did was wrong but if he was underage and she was in her 20’s and got together with an underage kid the mom’s a weirdo too 💀
I mean, if it was a culture that believed she had been "disgraceful" and hwr fanily made her marry him, then that's not entirely her fault. Shes just being put back into a situation she that she didn't cause to begin with. Which I think is possible, since op does say her mom was sheltered, which means her family likely has highly conservative morals on things like that. And maybe the two learned to love one another and find a way to work through it, which good for them I guess. Granted dad shouldn't have been misbehaving to begin with.
@@squinklings But if that was the case her family wouldn’t had cut her off for staying and still hate the husband. If anything it seems her family not rather her be with him
For the kidnapping story, I look at this from many different angles as reasons as to why I would not forgive him. Or at least note so easily. You brought up the fact of what if your mom had been the kidnapper. But think of it as what if that were your child. Sure he was a minor but clearly old enough to make his own decisions if he could drive a motorcycle and keep her there. Would you forgive that? What he did was obviously illegal and just because the story ended up good doesn’t mean it would’ve for others. Think about the trauma of that. This lady was questioning herself and only came to ask why he did that to specifically her. It’s not “just kidnapping” it’s torture. Kidnapping is a crime for a reason.
My niece kind of suffered through something like that when she found out she was having a little girl. Her boyfriend went ballistic and said that she had to be cheating on him because they don't have girls in his family. I was really confused because I know he has a few sisters and aunts.
Not me listening to this on the freeway while 21 weeks pregnant and pulling off just to get to a bathroom, right at the moment, you guys are discussing the HOV lane law that I definitely hope gets passed 😂
With the first story… using the “you were more experienced than me so I slept with my sister for practice” sounds like he’s blaming his fiancé for his actions. It’s her fault because she was more experienced… hell no! Even without the incest aspect that’s unacceptable. The incest means there’s no salvaging the relationship.
It could be a friend telling me he slept with his sister. Thanks so much, have a nice life! I have nothing further to share with you. He could be a coworker and it would be the same thing. I will have nothing further to do with you. It shows really poor decision making, lack of any type of boundaries and a really sick sexual preference.
Hey y’all- it’s absolutely okay to judge someone for knowingly sleeping with their own blood relative. Just thought everyone should know that 👍
ikr?? i was like "how are they so calm"
and his reasoning behind being “less experienced” like girl-
The fact that they are talking about it as if it was rational or anything other than wtf.
Yeah like fuck the cheating the incest is the issue here!
Love this! Do you have a link for the update?
Thank you!
glad she got a good arrangement considering the ridiculous circumstances.
Good!!! Glad he and his family will have nothing to do with the girl. Fuck him and his family.
omggg I was so hoping this was a fake story because this absurdity couldn't possibly be true. WTF!?!?!
The husband leaving the wife because they had a girl is absolutely MIND BLOWING! Not sure if he's a mommas boys or something but WOW I am speechless.
Right? I find the fact that they even joked about being upset if their first child was a girl strange. I also feel awful for any daughters in that family, because apparently some of the husband's siblings have more than one kid.
I know man, this is insane! I hope this story gets an update at some point
@@heatherduke5410 I honestly thought that was super messed up and I feel like that should have been a major red flag for her in the relationship, and it probably is happening thr favor the boys more then the woman but don't realize in order to bring a boy into the world you need a woman for that. Like what in the Henry VIII
Thank you for the update, so glad they found her, very sad she was in foster care.
This story reminds me a lot of the tv show Switched at Birth!
That poor sweet girl. I’m glad she’s been found and taken out of the system, but I’m so sad she went through that.
@@sashavann92 that’s wild
Right and plus most ppl have more than one baby so you have more chances. I can understand if it was their 2,3,4 child but not first
Nobody should be procreate with those types of people
There is literally nothing wrong for “hoping for a boy”, nor is it wrong for “hoping for a girl”….
I would've packed my bags as soon as she said that, like forget six years.
That's not a red flag, that's fifty air raid sirens going off at once.
The whole thing about the husband and his mother accusing this woman of predetermining the sex of her baby is so strange? I mean, the old wives' tales are just that. Old wives' tales. It was literally 50/50. I want her to take him for all he's worth.
Don’t forget it’s the dads seed that determines the babies gender. She should be blaming him if she blames anyone (Not that she should blame anybody)
@@kaimikalaniYT Oh, exactly! The MIL/his mother would rather blame the OP and old wives' tales though.
The things he says I in the updates are insane
The OP in that story posted an update with a little more information...Apparently her BIL's wife called her to let her know that she heard over Sunday dinner that the husband and nutty MIL are gonna go for full custody cause they don't want the baby to be raised by a "conniving manipulative person"
BIL & wife are looking to separate from the rest of the family
@@jessilias9530 absolutely projecting. Literally accusing her of being a manipulative person while being manipulative people. Hopefully she's able to get away from them as far as possible.
Even if she DID do witchcraft to have a girl on purpose, that's still not a reason to leave without a word.
I’m reading this comment out of context because I haven’t gotten to that story yet and this is hilarious lmao
@@stephanygarcia8296 I hope she got her ass outa the state before she gave birth if that’s what they’re planning holy crap

Very smart.
Mine automatically locked doors if someone tried to take baby out of maternity ward without authorization
Not to be that guy.... _but!_
In my country we both don't have nurseries and do exactly this.
That's a simple and inspired idea
SECOND STORY UPDATES:
UPDATE 1:
Update on my last post: thank you all for all the love, it means so much to me right now.
UPDATE 2:
Wow!
UPDATE 3:
Thank you so much for all of your support!
Thank you!!

And only one was nice enough to call back to say no 🤣
I am so mad for her!!!
“A little bit of selfishness” girl kidnapping someone in my book is completely selfish
Thank you! I couldn’t believe they didn’t recommend therapy in that one! They all need individual, family, and marriage counseling/therapy.
Maybe you can answer this, can someone suffer from Stockholm syndrome from being with their kidnapper for a day or a few days?
Oh my God Alejandra, it's screamingly obvious you don't understand the job of a nurse or how that job works. She can't just "suck it up" and take off work because that's not how that works at all. Taking off a shift could cost her other shifts or even her job. Hospitals everywhere are extremely understaffed, especially with nurses, and she can't just leave to appease her husband who clearly doesn't understand how her job works either. She already said she makes an effort to take off work for big family events, but her job is important and that should clearly take precedence.
Alejandra clearly has some god complex where she thinks she has the answers to everything and always has the right take lmfao the entire time she was talking about that situation all i thought was how tone deaf and ignorant she sounds. and through the entire video just acting like she knows everything or disregarding morgan’s takes because they are different than her own. v annoying
RIGHT! I feel guilty even when I get sick because of "I have a duty of care and who's going to fill in, is anyone going to be there soon?"
Not to mention her admitting she doesn’t see a problem with cropping dogs ears. Like???
I might be done with this show now. Out of touch and scary hosts IMO
For the one about the nurse:
My SIL doesn’t come to family events often sometimes ever.
Exactly! That shit could have gotten her fired. Incredibly immature and reckless on his part. Terrible husband
I also told him that I would like a hyphened last name for the children since my last name is beautiful, (Bello). for the kidnapping story: I disagree.

The kidnapped story is so messed up and I think y’all totally missed the potential influence of culture. In many countries, women are seen as OBJECTS. Nothing more. Yes! Alot of people say this story cant be real but sadly this isnt just real but very common in certain countries
Thank you for saying this! My grandmother was kidnapped by her husband in Mexico and she had to live with that trauma for the rest of her life. And so did her children, seeing how sad she was. Just because OPs parents seem happy now doesn't mean it's okay. He held a human hostage. Wtf.

At this point I wouldn’t doubt the mom & son have a secret sexual relationship because this is not a normal son & mom relationship.
the last one is...... concerning at the least. the father KIDNAPPED someone.
I was absolutely appalled too. Cannot believe what was said. People cut off abusive parents all the time. Sometimes, it’s what needs to be done.
@@plottwistpleasethepodcast4469but are they being abusive now? Like..: I get it’s fucked up but what would you accomplish by cutting them off?

Totally and like meeting every other week. Like damn, you guys married to each other or what?
Wow that’s terrible… I’m sorry for everyone involved
Yeah and we are relying on the parents testimony. If he did assault the mom…they definitely aren’t going to tell their kids that.
Omg that's horrible I'm so sorry that happened
From my hearing of it it sounds like these bbqs are a frequent thing
Exactly my thoughts ! she says she does go to family events but just not all of them. If HE wants to spend so much time with his family it's his choice, His priority and it doesn't have to be hers. And how childish to break her tires and force her to come and be somewhere she doesn't want to be ? Nobody would be happy about it, he certainly would have haha... and then She's the bad guy even though what she did is not even as bad as what He did in the first place ? AND he totally deserved it.

@Victoria-pr4xe okay, I'm with you on the cropping, but not all breeders are bad.

Alejandra CROPPED her dogs ears?? Illegal in many states and often times is done leaving the dog in long-term pain. I'm surprised I haven't seen more comments on this. Given all of the smaller criticisms they have addressed I really hope they address this one.
I completely missed this the first time listening. It makes me so sad for that poor pup getting put through that just for aesthetics 😢
Some breeds are recommended to crop due to health issues. (Ear infections, yeast infections…etc. )

I agree. Some of the hot takes from this channel recently has been giving me the ick.
Exactly! I stopped watching the video after they kept trying to justify it with well they were nice to me the good memories are still good memories idk personally if it was me I would be shocked and not able to let it go so easily they literally kidnapped someone and it being their own mom makes it even more messed up to me.
Agreed.
Lying about it, and kidnapping me what else will he do
@@CassandraHoggins right as I said she tries to come to the big events, like it's a BBQ (unless it was a big event celebrating something which was not stated so), that's not as important or big as working in a hospital
i was looking for this comment!! she literally said she goes to the big events.... she doesn't have to go to every damn bbq, she has lives to save.
We were so freaking tired, but it was so worth it to us
New fear unlocked…
"go to a breeder"
Opt to adopt
yeah.. how about adopt because you can still pick the gender of the dog you adopt… people who buy dogs are so artificial and weird. it’s like they do it as a status or looks thing. poor fucking dogs getting their ears and tails cropped for no reason other than to look cool for their owners? it’s sick
can’t believe she said that so nonchalantly 🙃 admitting you chose to have an animal mutilated for aesthetic reasons as well…
If the dad did this for this reason it's even MORE fcked up goood wtf
Second Story Final Update
(NOT MY STORY)
Hi everyone!
I couldn’t have done it all without my sister cheering me on through everything ❤
There have been lots of messages and questions in my inbox lately, so I’ll do my best to answer all that I possibly can (newborn life 😅) but just know I’m thankful to every single one of you for the endless support.
So happy things worked out for you! Way to go Mama!
“This calls for therapy” is my new favorite quote
The husband that left, because his momma told him he got a daughter because of the Chinese Horoskop is really suspicious. I truly don’t believe it happened like that
Honestly, I feel like maybe she (the mom) lied to him about soemthing. How does having a girl make you block everything and not want to be in your child’s life all of a sudden?
I have a feeling that the Mom threatened to remove her son from her will if he doesn't do what she says.
She internalized social mysoginy to where she hates women except for herself is such pick me energy .
She probably hated OP the whole time and is using the pregnancy as an excuse
@@iridescentsolace there was an update, op waited for him outside his job, he said he was excited for the girl but then realized how conniving and manipulative and ab*sive op had been in their relationship and wanted a divorce, then told her he would sign off his rights for the "thing", but op found out he and his mom actually wanted to fight for full custody of her baby.
@@luzandreahc simply wow. The misogyny runs so deep
You guys went easy on the first story, IT'S WRONG in so many levels.
Literally the best ending. They won almost 2 million dollars in settlement from the hospital, and now both girls can be raised as sisters
@@pixelk8261 2 million doesn’t seem like a lot with everything considered
@@beetleebugg that's great news! they don't have to give up the child they got attached to AND they get to have their bio daughter back in the family
@@beetleebugg what's sad is the other parents probably realized she wasn't theirs and put her up for adoption :( or the hospital couldn't find the parents and put her in the system themselves
When she said “he didn’t hurt me” I got chills
You guys are totally tripping about the last story, how could you ever look at your dad the same way when he kidnapped a women?? Especially the reason that the mom probably felt like she had to marry him…definitely not right
Thats what I thought! I shared a similar story; Basically at 14 my mom kidnapped me. I’m safe with my dad, and this was 7 years ago, but I can NEVER see my mother the same again. I cut her out of my life and went through hella therapy. I could never see anyone like this in the same light as before. Ever. I don’t get some of their opinions sometimes, and this is one of them
They really went with “but he was a nice guy to me” angle and it’s fucked up
and Morgan said “it’s not an abusive relationship.” As if we can rely on the child’s experience as the full truth of the parents’ relationship. It’s possible he was very abusive to her behind closed doors…
And I’m sorry but claiming he was young & made a bad decision… I too was 16/17 but I knew not to take people against their will. If he was old enough to operate a motorcycle, he was old enough to know he was wrong.
They lost me there 🙄
i feel very conflicted about it because we really DONT KNOW how everything really went down. Did the mum feel like she was forced into a marriage or did they genuinely fall in love (way) later? I think there is a lot of potential for nuance here that could make this situation a bit more of a grey area
that being said, of course it would shift the way you see your own father. maybe it wouldnt completely destroy what you had but it definitely would change some stuff
Look I understand that this is a very specific rare case where his instincts that this child wasn't his progeny was right,
But... Why marry someone, have a baby with them and THEN choose to stop communicating?
His true colours came out when he chose to believe the internet over talking to the person he swore an oath to.
What an absolute tool. She and child deserve a parent who loves *UNCONDITIONALLY*
Conditional love leads to trauma that poisons their development.
Yes!!! Like his comment was so “ohh pity me, I’m the victim” dude, f off!!!! What a piece of trash

That was really disappointing tbh. They kept making unnecessary jabs at the husband for no good reason like???
Yeah and also the fact that they excused kidnapping was shocking to me 😅
I swear I just watch them for this stuff now. Like... so many takes here are rancid
I like their channel but I feel as if they always lean towards making the man the villain in the story even if he didn't do anything.
I got so angry when she started talking lol. He is ”borderline manipulative "?? He full on kidnapped her!!!! How is she even a little bit an ahole?
Alejandra never even said that she was the a-hole for being a nurse, she said she was KIND OF the a-hole for not coming to family events more often IF she could. The whole point of two hot takes is that there are two opinions, and Alejandra has a different opinion. That doesn’t make it wrong and just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean you should be putting words in her mouth
And mutilation. She’s perfectly fine with dogs being mutilated, it’s awful.
She probably doesn't know what it means! I thought cropped ears were natural until like 2 years ago when I originally saw the comments
Cant think of anything since Alejandra said she wants a dogs ears cropped 🤦♀️😩
yeah, like let’s not encourage thousands of people to “go to a breeder.”

The fact that the sister in the first story brought it up during an argument as some sort of “gotch’ya” means that she viewed it as more than just “practice” she thought it was real and serious and was something that would hurt her brother’s relationship. She romantically loves her brother.
Watching these makes me feel like my life is a walk in the park
I’m glad you guys took a hard stance against putting drugs in peoples drink but not kidnapping lmao
The pregnancy story got me floored! I’m finding out the gender of our baby next month and my man wants a girl sooo bad because his siblings had boys, even his family is hoping for a girl. I told him it doesn’t matter to me, I have a boy and girl from a previous relationship so as long as baby is healthy, but holy crap to leave and ghost his wife because it’s not a boy 🤯
I’d like to know what he will say when he realizes you CANT just choose what gender you’re having.
Literally came here to say that
I can't believe Alejandra had a problem with what she did... That man is a psycho and she should have driven that car straight across state lines and as far away from him as possible
Right!!! That’s INSANE, I would have to divorce them immediately
I'd see my dad different. I see it as my dad got away with kidnapping. I'd think: "What else could he have gotten away with?"
As someone who works 70 hour weeks and cares for how my reliability is received at work….the idea of calling out for something I stressed I wouldn’t be able to do against my will sounds like hell.
the guy who took his wife to the family barbecue reminds of the guy who called his wife’s boss and told them she had a miscarriage so she would have tome off and go to a family event. i know in-laws and family is important but some people are just UNHINGED and scare tf out of me
Yes! I was like they talked about something like this before
When I gave birth my biggest fear was having a mix up or worse someone just taking him.
@@tiffanybrowning795 Well if you were a dude and two tests came back negative, what would you do?

Also his family is shitty for mocking him, his wife is out saving lives, which is something he should reiterate to them, not blame it on her. And then all the other crazy shit he did...If i were her, this relationship might not last longer
No one said that
I would have literally called the cops if I was taken somewhere against my will whilst also missing my shift as a nurse.
@@cassidyharris9765 they said the same goes for the husband

The video of the cop giving the guy a dance routine to check if he’s drunk is from a comedy show called “Reno 911!” 😂
I think it was a bit off putting too for them both to be like "it wouldn't change how I view my parents if they kidnapped someone because of what all they've done for me"
Yeah, but what about that person they've inflicted trauma onto now? Whose going to have to deal with the fact that they had been kidnapped for they rest of their life 🤔 Because i can guarantee not everyone who gets kidnapped marries their kidnapper and ends up like OPs parents.
Right, there whole take on this is creepy... Could you imagine if that happened to your friend ? Just put that into perspective c'mon
The fact that the parents are so defensive and not willing to talk about it clearly family therapy.
"I will never trust you after stealing my car" dude, you cut her tires!
The wife who's husband left is going to get everythinggggggg from the judge 😅
"B-but judge, she planned the sex of the baby behind my back!" 😂
"b-b-but she's a witch! She did the reverse cowgirl in February!"
exactly like????😭😭😭
I remember an article of a ex nurse who admitted on her death bed to switching multiple babies at birth for the fun of it. Sadly its probably more common than we think.
YAY! Happy Two Hot Take Thursday! 😀
Also, call me childish, but if I was a man and 2 paternity tests came back to me negative--I would be inconsolable and would not believe a word my wife said out of sheer turmoil lol. Crazy to hear real-life "switched at birth" stories. They better be set for life financially from that lawsuit. Awesome episode! I wish every episode were 2 hours long.
I’m sad nobody mentioned the tv show lol
Completely agree. I couldn’t understand why they kept saying the husband was in the wrong before the update when evidence was pointing to his speculations being correct. I’d be mad at my partner too.
With the last story it concerns me that the mum is ISOLATED from her family.
Because obviously what he did was wrong but if he was underage and she was in her 20’s and got together with an underage kid the mom’s a weirdo too 💀
My exact thoughts!
