(Ex-)MotoGP Rider Stefan Bradl was showing me the line on the Sachsenring. It was the last session and a short one, so we had no time for proper instructions. Nevertheless he helped me going a little bit faster. That day I had problems with an uneven front tire/wheel which made the bike vibrating a lot. Also it felt like loosing the front above 50° lean angle which restricted me a lot in corner speed. I have to check if the front wheel got damaged from the crash at the Nürburgring last time. @@michaelric3540 Seems pretty board and over generalized. Alot of tracks demand 2nd gear, hell, any liter bike in the past 10 years can hit nearly 100mph in first gear.

@Sapiens Homo I think the only thing thats better is 24 fps instead of 60 fps. With a proper ND filter it gives a more realistic sensation IMO. It more closely mimics the way our eyes view things with motion blur. Like the onboard vids I have on my channel. Definitely not at this guys skill level yet though!
Proper motorcycle games will probably come once VR becomes even better in the next 5/10 years as simulations are able to become Hyper realistic almost.
@@CumCarvalho No he needs to engine brake much later then he is. And when he does he will be closer to higher RPMS then he was. I go in in high RPM and out with high RPM. Higher RPM more exit, plus shorter axle base and faster turning speed.
It's good to see Stefan Bradl still getting after it. He was one of my favorite satellite riders. I was hoping he'd stay big leagues long enough to land that KTM seat
@@oscarius1509 he is not racing like the others, he has to test parts and settings, Honda (hrc) does claim that in their Instagram posts and Stefan said it last year, when he was racing for Lorenzo. So there is no chance for him to be "fast". Judging from his testing during racing last year he can ride in the points easily with some more time on the bike and maybe some better test settings, if Honda would let him really race, he would be way faster than Alex Marquez and Honda knows that.
Haha I feel the pain of the engine XD I blew my R6 motor- it couldn't take the constant high revs ( not that I rode it as hard as you ride yours lol) now I ride a cbr600rr and its lasting (for now).
What oil did you use in your R6 ? I use AMSOIL 10-40 and have almost 10,000 km of track use. Sometimes a aggressive tune and a bad batch of gasoline will destroy the motor. I use 94 octane (about the same as 98 octane in Europe).
What year did you have? The 99-03 model has a very bad engine where the cilinders Will give up Some time (dont know the correct english word for it) thats wy the 04 model is a lot more expensive
@@ZeroBoostBuick I used Ravenol fully synthetic 5W40 every 3500 km it was a very good oil but also I was the 3rd owner and have no idea how often the other owners treated it... Now with my cbr600rr 2009 model, being the second owner and knowing how the first treated it, it can take a bit of punishment and the engine is running like the day I bought it and I've had no problems since. Hopefully it lasts- I do track days now and again but I also don't really enjoy just cruising when I ride on the streets
@@kevinvanleussen5879 it was a 2007 model- i suspect the ability of the R6 to rev so high and the fact that the power band is right at the top puts it a disadvantage in terms of engine wear... Although manufacturers definitely do take that into account so it does come down to how the owners take of them
gearing is off either go down so you can use 6th gear or go up so you don't run out of steam 2 or 3 times a lap, You only do that and you would catch that guy. I remember when I first started. It feels like those fast guys are decloaking under braking. They just appear out of nowhere. Keep at it, keep learning and refining. Keep track of what works and what does not work. It is a fun day when all of a sudden you get to decloak on someone else!
Its alway good to have some teaching...especially with lines....i live right near a very serious go kart track...an thanks ti me now supermoto guys have a new track to ride on...but we have a hair pin a very well designed an tite hair pin an i use my superbike line in my go kart...an it wasnt till i was filming for my go kart u tube show....i noticed the fast line was going all the way out to the bushes...an hooking the exit tite then ur faster thru the next corner an carry it into the long 700 foot straight away....u come in from a fast right an have no time to see the corner so u go at it tite as u would short way but my cart had no gears an my 750 had 6 gears big difference....thanks again
Stefan went past and then disappeared. Shows that even back of the pack riders in the premier class are insanely fast. Think of what it would be like to be passed by Marquez, Fabio, or Bastianini... Incredible.
For hobby and semi-professional riders it will not make a big difference if Bradl or Marquez do pass them. The difference in performance between any MotoGP Pilot and these is dimensions bigger than the difference between Marquez and Bradl (in my opinion).
Not to mention you’re basically riding alone.. imagine going MotoGP speeds and having 20ish other bikes around you for the first lap or so.. just craziness
Schade, dass Stefan es nicht gepackt hat in der Moto GP zu bleiben: 2012 - Bester Rookie auf der LCR Honda mit Platz 8 2013 - Platz 7 2014 - Platz 9 Leider hat der Vertragspoker ihm das Genick gekostet. Mit der Forward Racing Yamaha war er einfach auf einer Grücke unterwegs. Und der Wechsel zu der damals noch komplett neuen Aprilia hat ihm auch nicht gerade gut getan. Ich bin mir sicher mit einem weiteren Jahr bei Honda oder auf einer anderen konkurenzfähigen Maschine wäre seine Karriere in der GP nicht so schnell vorbei gewesen. But thats the Game.
Did the same mistake a long time while drifting on that track. You gotta take the first right corner after the long finish line not to the right apex but ride it on the left side on the long line than you can drive it way way quicker and it feels less dangerous and way more natural. Try it next time. You see the others are all taking it like that too. Has a reason. I was thinking I was right for a day until I tried it once 😂😅. Great driving though. I am just a race car driver and these speeds and lean angles still look impossible to me as a new two wheel driver :)
Love the 60 frame rate per second here! When will the MotoGP games emulate the motion blur properly? It would look amazing when they do it. Smooth riding there too!!
JnaArt when THQ make the game again. Last good year was 07. I've tried three versions since and just can't get on with them. I don't care if the new games have better physics engines and are more realistic, the just don't deliver the sense of satisfaction.

I've had a ninja 600, but I'm thinking about dropping down to a 300 so I can learn the fundamentals and get some track experience. Is this a good approach?
You can do just fine on a 600 if you go to a track and have proper schooling on it, but if you wanna be competitive on a 600 you're gonna have to spend way more on tires than a 300 per say

Would be an excellent angle to show during races of motogps, cameras are so high tech these days I wonder if they couldn’t fit a very small one on every helmet

Just think, that guy comes in last place. That's the talent difference between a track day/road racer and a MotoGP rider Also, I think it's time you upgrade to a 1000.
Read the description/his comment under the video. Not saying he's as fast as a Moto-GP rider, but he could have gone faster had it not been for the bike problems likely due to a crash he had and bike being damaged.
Habe ein Lavaliermikro neben dem Endtopf platziert und das an ein zoom handyrecorder verbunden. Allerdings hat bei der Aufnahme nur der Zoom recorder alleine aufgenommen. Habe herausgefunden, dass die Gopro mit Audio Einstellung Mittel und manuelle Audiobedienung aus am besten fürs Mopped funktioniert und so der Ton aus der Kamera schon ganz okay ist.
Actually, this isn't a particularly fast lap, he can probably do way better than this. There are different people also here on YT that chan run around 30 with R6. Just to have some point of reference, Moto2 run here in 1.23, generally speaking a stock 600cc run around 0.5 sec/km slower, so here an optimal lap with optimal setup will be around 1.25, considering that the bike isn't a team directed one, probably around 1.27 is also a great optimal lap. Anyway, this is a training day and he also has some problem as said on the first comment.
@@pabloperez4063 the new 1000cc bikes are so agil that most 600cc bikes cannot compete with that. Only plus is that 600cc takes way less endurance of the rider and is way cheaper, as well as that you need to carry your speed, if you make a small mistake, you lose way more time on a 600cc than on those modern 220HP liter bikes.
@@Captain-Mayday Doesn't matter, if you're faster you're faster. BP's look very different across the MotoGP board, as long as you're accomplishing the point of BP (reduce lean angle), you can change it up to suit your riding style.

Ride 4's realism view is pretty close. But for some fucking reason it's only available in replay mode.

Thats why you get a Suzuki, my 06 1000 has 70k km, 25k+ of those are on track

Just to have some point of reference, Moto2 run here in 1.23, generally speaking a stock 600cc run around 0.5 sec/km slower, so here an optimal lap with optimal setup will be around 1.25, considering that the bike isn't a team directed one, probably around 1.27 is also a great optimal lap.

@@pabloperez4063 the new 1000cc bikes are so agil that most 600cc bikes cannot compete with that. Only plus is that 600cc takes way less endurance of the rider and is way cheaper, as well as that you need to carry your speed, if you make a small mistake, you lose way more time on a 600cc than on those modern 220HP liter bikes.

@@Captain-Mayday Doesn't matter, if you're faster you're faster. BP's look very different across the MotoGP board, as long as you're accomplishing the point of BP (reduce lean angle), you can change it up to suit your riding style.
