@@andyreznick it’s a cool medal and MAY have sold out over time. Even the US Mint wasn’t sure by only making 50K instead of 75k (based on the website update for product limit) the privy insertion has caused the stir.
@@GenXcollectible Not to pick, but when I read "privy insertion" along with "caused a stir" I feared momentarily for your G-Rating. I don't hand them out often but: LOL.
Don't forget the up to 28% collectible IRS tax on any profits. My ebay fees + shipping are under 10 percent (cheap monthly store), less if item is over $4,500. Send more than one coin to PCGS or NGC and the per unit price drops. Lots of places to sell and avoid all fees. Ordered a couple of the gold flowing hairs. One will be an easy 70, the other I'm on the fence about. Will send both in and keep fingers crossed, same with the two flowing hair silver medals I have. As far as why people buy for more on ebay than the mint: Not very many stackers are financially educated. That is kinda why they are stacking instead of investing Not a slam, just an observation over 20 years of selling to them. Opportunity costs, tax consequences, time value of money, leverage, are all unknown to the majority. There is a "reason' why there are no "how I made millions buying coins" books out ;-)
Oops the Gold COIN drops on Nov 14, 2024.
Thanks for updates.
@@SilverHeist thanks for watching!
Interesting information Genx.... Thanks for the video...
@@SilverWolverine95 thanks for stopping by!
I was surprised how quickly the gold version sold out quickly. Were folks betting it would have a special privy on it too? Good follow up video Bro!
@@MrBullay not the informed buyers. It was announced prior to the release that the gold privy would sold via auction.
You're right. It sold out in 4 and a half mins.
Thanks for Sharing GenX, 73' !!! 👍👊

I have to say, this is the biggest splash a numismatic Medal has ever made that I can think of. Privy Mark Madness. Are we having fun yet?

I think the presales for the raw coins are the people that said they would never by FROM the mint again 😏
@@Seekingsilver that is a possible explanation.
Where do you get that $3,625 price?
@@tomtwo8714 by taking the spot price and comparing to the mints price guide. However I’m assuming it’s using the Liberty series for pricing.
@@GenXcollectibleThanks. The mint just put the price up.
