As an Invictus run only player, feels like the fun can get infinite, kinda hard to explain but the situations and the decision making is extra exciting because of the 2 lifes, it gets addictive
I feel like skill wise I’m gettinf there now where I can have those runs and not die instantly so I think I’m gonna do this next playthrough tbh
My Isolated and Hated style run is pretty fun. Play as a renegade. Start in tuzla. Drop all your starting equipment, food, water and meds. Use debug mode to make bandits and renegades hostile to you. Turn off accessible zone. Try to make a wish on the wish granter 😂

There are quest and more storyline quests mods ! You should've mention them
I found that turning down how much weight you can carry by default provides a lot of extra challenge as well! Granted you probably need to tweak the stamina to not go insane, it pushes you to only grab what you absolutely need.

i had a idea for a run as well. where you can only sell and buy items at specific traders that fit into your characters story. that would be cool i think. could be in anymode you can feel more engage with the game as you are playing a character with a background reason as to why you are in the zone
I got my own setup to play and make the game interesting. Though l only did Story mission once. l mostly just play sandbox without main mission.
A play l once thought of is the "No contact" gameplay. What it is?
Well, 1st you need debug to setup everything. Your base is (unless you use a sleeping bag), in the house with the bed in Meadow. You can give yourself a starter gun and few ammo / medkit. And also use the "Hideout furniture" mod to setup storages and the workshop for crafting.
The point of this mod is, to NOT enter any settlement, so you can't take missions, nor earn money, you HAVE to craft everything you need for survival, food, ammo, repair guns and armor. Can play any faction, or for extra challange, Monolith, Sin or Zombie faction to make things more spicy.
And then there is my current play which l share in the answer to this one.
So my current play (also just sandbox) is...
Got an addon to thinker with the traders. So~!
- Trader don't sell guns or armor (but sell knifes and melee weapons)
- They only sell a few meds and attachments for the guns + repair kits
- They won't buy guns that are less than 75% durability
- Mission reward money and item sell to traders is set to 0.5x
- Buying items from traders / repairing / upgrading is set to 2x
- Hardcore AI aim is turned on
"AI better cover" addon to change the AI's battle behaviour (and it's tricky, sometimes they use tactics like real players, like A-D strafe and crouch after each step, so you hit their heads harder)
- less chance that AI drops items
- Expedition modpack has also a food/water need rework, where l need around 2100 kcal food daily to survive.
And kinda that's it, this way, l'm way more forced to use the crafting (now that l found a nice ammo maker mod that won1t crash my game...)
And yea, l know GAMMA does this too, but it feels rewarding when you fix up a gun or armor.
And yea, usually sandbox goal is... 1) Be No.1 Stalker, 2) reach Legend rank and lastly 3) attack enemy faction's base.
Playing both Gamma (with wep pack that bring more vintage stuff) and AREA giving me enough entertainment for a while
I wish GAMMA had easy to switch presets like default survival GAMMA, Action heavy EFP-like and something in between. I know that it would take a shitload of configuring, testing and balancing though

loved that somany people make the runs as deiffrent as they can, the thing at the videos are interesting, but when we go down to the comments, we found more interesting runs
Hello :)), can you please make a video about every available quest lines in gamma and how to start them ?
Couple years ago I did the crafting only challenge by Blondefire. Start with nothing and craft everything. Knife and first PDA I remember is the only purchase.
Depopulation mode - turn off respawns so when an enemy is dead it stays dead.
Finally a laver action weapon mod! Hope they will add modernised, more powerfull versions of them,
Damn, I thought you'd bring other mods to light such as Gunsligner, Lost Alpha, and etc coming from the title. I feel like they deserve their share too...

Its so awfully bugged its simply unenjoyable. Oh and it runs like poop
Tbh i forgot about it. Warfare doesn't work well with GAMMA, but well on EFP.
Theres a new GAMMA addon that supposedly fixes Warfare
I personally do another form of limitation in my runs: no drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes, no combat stims, no artifacts and only able to eat canned goods.
The food offers no benefits (unlike chimera or bloodsucker meat), it becomes another money sink, and you're limited to what the vendors have. No drugs and no artifacts means less damage reduction options. No alcohol and cigarettes mean less resistances.
It may sound boring but it makes the game tougher (especially coupled with Invictus or Azazel modes) so it's a good challenge... and it's similar to how I am rl so a bit more "realistic" for me. When playing a Freedomer it's also ironic. Call it the IBS/Healthy Lifestyle challenge lol
What I'm getting bored is crashes, memory leaks and such.

You should probably mention that TCWP is discontinued and the only way to download it is by scrolling to the bottom of the mod post and grabbing the zip file below the project cancellation message.

Tcwp is also in ugp which is another way to get it
It is discontinued but the revolver is still there.

Can you make a guide how to progress in this game? I desabled brain thing and now i am stuck, all quest and stashes are in garbage cemetery and dark valley, non of quest from rostok will send me to high tier zones, in hightier zones I dk where are the camps, it is getting repetitive and boring for me
You can now walk to Dead City from the south for merc gear, then Limansk for Monolith gear, then Jupiter and Zaton for more quests. I'm currently playing Gamma in Zaton and I just had to fight 10 sin fighters. I spent all my AP ammo on these fucks and so many stimpacks. They're absurdly strong. They chased me for half the map. Literally all I could do was run and hope to find a decent enough position to get some peaks. They even showed on the map as an unknown enemy force.
if you are a loner, you can go to jupiter, zaton and do quests there. Duty/Freedom/clear sky are no different. you have to move eventually .
@@Albertinho9339 yes i am duty, i payed the guide to go to jupiter, i got spawned in a camp of loners and freedom. I had to fight my way out from the camp. I havent checked out the zaton i will see to get there today thanks
@@slimpwarrior I do have gear for mid game and early late, i am good on that part, also i have a lot of cash, i just need quest for northern parts so i can get advanced tools and progress
