When the lock-down is over it would be great to see another plane old Ben collaboration video with the flying reporter✊🏼✊🏼
We would definitely love to do one!
This takes me back .. learnt to fly at ANT many years ago in PA 28s Haven’t flown for a long time now but good to watch .
Loved the video once again Ben - so interesting to hear airline traffic on the same frequency, even though you’re probably used to that now! That looked like a like arrival and airport! Loving the uploads recently, keep it up and hope you’re staying safe❤️
Cheers Dan, there will be a good few more uploads soon!
Great Video,Remember flying down low level corridor to a weekend flyin at cranfield(brilliant weekend) some 15 years ago in our Microlight and back up on Sunday afternoon where we had a strange UFO encounter coming back up through corridor.Fetched back memories and a good watch,Good piloting skills.
Thanks for another great video Ben!
Thanks for watching, Thomas!
Nice flight Ben, keeping me motivated in this long time away from flying! Looking forward to more.
There's going to be another two from this series!
Watched a few of your videos and I'm hooked! Convinced the mrs I'm going to do my licence 😂 im from blackpool to. My only worry is learning the communication with atc and not mess it up it seems foreign to me I guess you learn that from experience talking to them ha.
There's loads of good documentation about comms if you're interested in learning I would recommend having a read through the CAP 413 which is the Radiotelephony Manual from the CAA it lays it all out nice and clearly
Thanks for sharing
Great video Ben keep it up pal stay safe ✈️👌
Thank you Jack!
Class video Ben 👌🏼
Thanks a lot, Luke!
brilliant video ben!
Thanks Joe!
I had hoped to fly the low level corridor again when I brought Echo Hotel up to Blackpool for Ernie Horsfall's birthday party but alas, maybe another time. G-AYEH is said to have been registered to him as it is his initials (I don't know if there is any truth in that) Great to have you posting again Ben.
Can't wait to come and fly with you!
Thank you for sharing! In times like these where we can't fly ourselves, this is almost as good ;-)
Editing them is keeping me entertained!
Very enjoyable - thank you
Reminds me of what I’m not able to do at the moment!
Pretty poor weather - good practice.
Yeh the cameras make it look a bit worse. Thanks for watching!
Great video, thank you, anything that takes people’s mind off the current C19 situation is really worthwhile.🤔
Thanks a lot, hope you’re doing ok!
Sick guy
Excellent Ben, thanks ;)
No worries, David!
Loving this, well done Ben 😊😎
So much traffic at MAN 😅✈️
Reminds me of watching US GA pilots in California flying the Special Flight Rules mini route over LAX. Btw was that James (SpeedbirdUK) in the right hand seat with you ?👍🏻
It was certainly a busy day for them, thanks for watching!
Great video!
Thanks a lot, Brendan.
Great video Ben, love watching your flights to Tatenhill as I'm currently training there! Keep up the good work! :)
I enjoy every visit!
Great flight and I enjoyed it all, my home airport is EGCB Barton.
That’s where we fly too next!
Thanks Ben, yes Tatenhill's a lovely airfield - had the pleasure of visiting there last summer but landed after hours one evening (with their kind permission) so unfortunately didn't get to sample the cafe but will do next time when we're all back flying! Might catch you later at 8pm - cheers!
That was really nice of them!
Wish i knew you flew to Tatenhill, I work there as a trainee mechanic.Great video.
Hopefully say hello next time!
Good to see a video. Hope you are ok and Thank you for the video
Thanks a lot Adrian, you too!
Hi Ben i'm not a pilot only on a sim, but love your videos mate, stay safe all the best : )
I love using my sim too, thanks for watching!
I'll have to add Tatenhill to my list of airfields to visit 😃
It’s a really nice one, they’re always very welcoming.
Great video again love the content keep up the good work. When this terrible virus is checked and beaten,if you ever flying from Blackpool to Yorkshire if you had a spare seat would be a privilege to join you.I would contribute towards the cost it’s just something I’ve always fancied.
Let’s hope we can sort something when this all blows over, stay safe!
I enjoyed that Ben. Wow....very displaced threshold at Tatenhill! And Man was busy eh!
Thank you for your report! It wasn't actually a displaced threshold, I just landed long as we were vacating right at the end, I think it just happened to have old markings where I was landing!
Ye the arrows are still a bit visible but yo do get the whole runway. Even I can land on it lol
My home airfield Tatenhill 👍🏻
It's really nice, look forward to returning!
Very interesting video. As I live directly beneath the Low Level Corridor I was wondering what are the rules for separation When travelling South or North?
So do I. Between Stretton and Winsford Flash
Thanks Ben. A couple of questions. Was it really as 'murky' as it looked at times in the video? What is more important at a destination - runway length available or the refreshment facilities?
I think the cameras aren’t very sharp at distance so it looks a bit more murky than in reality. There’s many variables in regards to destinations, I’m happy to go to most my base line to visit with friends is about 800m.
Nice job Ben, visibility sucked that day-
Yeh it wasn’t the best was it! Thanks for watching.
Great Vid just one question in the UK you sometimes have like Blackpool Approach or Liverpool Radar. If you know what is the difference between Approach and Radar in that case?
Approach doesn’t have a radar, that’s the main difference.
@@PlaneOldBen Thx
Also again what is the Difference between like Bodmin Radio or Rochester Information?
Tatenhill my local airfield
I am just starting traning and I have a silly question ... do you have to book into airfields before departure or can you just turn up on radio and request landing?
Most require PPR in advanced.
Are you planing to be air company pilot or just general aviation?
