      I'm amazed at how many people out there spread misinformation about Tesla. Steer by wire for example has been around even in some vehicles for over few decades. How many of them failed in reality? It's all driven by electric motors and electric motors are extremely reliable and with current innovations, it's foolproof and how some people rile up for no reason.

    Consider FSD on all other Tesla models, it is already drive by wire, but with all the added complexity of additional mechanical linkage.
    Removing complexity in the CT, is an incremental next step to improve reliability and reduce parts.
    Requirements are less dumb.

    Sandy also found out the steer by wire units are manufactured by ZF Automotive. While they were probably developed in coordination with Tesla (I assume), always attributing every innovative development to Tesla alone is short sighted (biased?). Producing cost effective vehicles is always going to require state of the art suppliers too, regardless of the vehicle manufacturer.

It can't even pass safety inspections in Europe, battery holds HALF of what is promised, it costs twice as much as it's promised, it can only pull HALF of the weight which was promised, the gas pedal gets stuck so they all got recalled. Thank you for the video and content !!! Question - I've seen information that EV charging stations emit a large amount of EMF (?) why may not be good for people. Is EMF at charging stations, and at home charging, a real concern? Aside to that, is there also EMF within the vehicle while driving it?

    • @chrisbraid2907
      @chrisbraid2907 12 днів тому

      EMF radiation drops off quickly and it’s the higher output Station that puts out high amounts. Plugging in and walking away or climbing in the car and closing the door will give you reasonable protection from EMF radiation Exposure … standing around the chargers port while charging at a DC Fast chargers isn’t recommended … the beauty of the Tesla system is that you won’t have to … while you are driving your vehicle shields you …

    I like the Cybertruck and all it brings. But, Elon also cut a lot of value by lowering the battery size, then adding it as an add-on, that just isn’t available. I would appreciate some real value in a hardcore tent option, not an inflatable that can catastrophically lose inflation throughout the night, and screw everything up. I like an option that deploys out of the vault, but rooftop may be better, so an open vault could be a compostable toilet option. I look at a Toyota Trailhunter with rooftop option and can have all this and a rollout kitchen out the tailgate. We need solid options to everything everyone else is offering, to make the Cybertruck a solid choice. peace

    Inductive charging is great, but it doesn't charge as well as wire charging. More loss as well. If you have any metal implants they may heat up if you stay in the car during inductive charging! ;) If you people don't know, nothing WIRELESS works as well as wired. Wireless is a compromise. WiFi Bluetooth, etc...

    We are observing the numerous timely and convergent technological advances possible when you are a vertically oriented vehicle manufacturer. The oligopoly moat of legacy automotive has been breached allowing innovation, improvements and advances to bloom. Like the ostrich with its head in the ground for protection, legacy auto refuses to vertically orient their manufacturing and make the investment in a core computer architecture platform. Legacy auto continues to be doomed as assemblers of "parts from others" unable to benefit from these technological convergences.

    It isn't just water ingress into the battery, but also moisture condensate due to teperature deltas inside and outside the battery. Time will tell how well the new vents will work. The problem with new technology is you get new problems to solve, which add cost and complexity. Elon's only mistake was assuming there wouldn't be these kinds of issues when he announced initial CT delivery dates.

    Tesla got it badly wrong developing the Cybertruck, it’s a dog and just about every professional review says so. It may have some ‘cutting edge’ technologies incorporated but it’s an underperforming product in most aspects. From a financial perspective Tesla have invested a fortune in its development and will be lucky to break even let alone make a reasonable return. Sadly, Tesla is also fast losing its lead and share of the EV marketplace and so the days of heady share prices are over. Tesla’s share price is now more and more based on prevailing financial fundamentals and not promises of ‘jam tomorrow’. My advice to any Tesla stock holder is to sell up, the next quarter results are going to be worst than the last.

      One aspect, called out in this video , is Teslas’ material division, this allows new design revisions that other manufacturers cannot comprehend, this material division is responsible for everything from metal mixtures that allow ultra fast injections in their gigacastings to underlayments for their roofing division. I experienced the new material in the underlayment material in my Tesla roof, this material basically waterproofs the roof for an extended period without even installing the tiles over it.
