Oh, have I not posted a comment on this vid that I just picked up a CHERRY 2013 V6MT with 58K miles just 2 weeks ago? I owned a 2004 back in the day, but this 2013 is a game changer; it is so freaking FUN! My only gripe about this gem is that it doesn't have a limited slip diff. The torque steer is real with the amount of power it has. Mine is also in San Marino Red; the best color IMO.
Yes, the LSD is what this car is truly missing. As an owner of a (slightly less cool) V6 coupe auto, this car would be fabulous with the extra traction...
I own a 2016 Coupe V6 Touring. Dont forget the Android Auto and Apple Car Play with the 2016. Also cylinder deactivation is ONLY on the automatic and not the manual. The hp is actually more when dyno'd but Honda under sell the power. 0-60 around 5.6 seconds
I had 2005 Honda Accord V6 6 speed EX-L Nav in Nighthawk black. Hyper rare car and I loved it. Total sleeper. It unfortunately was a salvaged car and was abused. As a first car it was great since it was not perfect. But I always said I’d love a Honda Accord just newer or unsalvaged
Ive watched probably 20 videos on this car, you’re the only one to bring up the engine dropping to 3 cylinders on the highway...pertinent info, thanks!
Here in Seattle I have one of the VERY RARE 2004 V6 6-SPEED MANUAL ACCORD COUPES WITH THE HFP HONDA FACTORY PERFORMANCE PACKAGE every option they came with the hfp front lip rear lip side skirts spoiler strut bar hfp suspension hfp Wheels leather heated seats etc I have now added the bigger 3.7 j37 intake manifold and throttle body cold air intake J pipe precat deletes AKA header for this car cat back exhaust tuned on the dyno with hondata And it can't keep up and beat these newer 3.5s with similar mods because it's lighter but this ninth generation Accord in the video is the absolute last accord I would own..... Why?? Because it was the last V6 coupe they made... I was never a fan of the (8th generation 08-12) in between my 7th gen 03-07 and this 9th generation 13 to 17 in the video.... Lastly I was never a fan of the Accord I have a fully built track car that's a 1995 Civic Coupe with a k24 block and K20 head nothing but two seats an a roll cage... Oh and tons of crx's civics from the 90s integras and a Honda S2000 never ever ever liked Honda Accords... But something about the 7th gen and the 9th generation V6 6-speed Accord coupes only the ones with the hfp package look so much more aggressive than your average Honda Accord and that J series when you build the motor right just like the D series B series B series and h series you can put in a Civic from the 90s those motors can be just as fun and lots of torque from the V6 and when you see them with the hfp package they just look like a more expensive sporty car then your average Honda and I have pissed off plenty of 350Z 370Z Camaro and mustang owners with around 3 to 400 horsepower
