I'm so busy I get maybe a hour to mess with my projects recently bought the swing arm kit for my mm80 and to fully build it just got to get time to do it lovung the channel man keep up the good work
My clutch does not have set screws and so I just put a washer on the back of the crankshaft next to the engine block. Keeps the clutch from moving side to side.
I got a question and it would be great if you answered. My set screws keep falling off and it makes a loud knocking noise, what did you do to fix that?
What did you spray in the clutch? I've always cleaned them with brake clean and then just a little spray of wd-40 while it's spinning on the engine to keep the noise and dust down
how well does that #35 chain hold up with the predator 212? im kinda thinking of going with the 40,41,420 10 tooth clutch and a 420 chain, and 415 44 tooth rear sprocket because of limited options. id like to do the #35 so i could get a 60 or 75 tooth rear sprocket but wasnt sure if the smaller chain would handle it
Hopefully I get this answered right away haha anyway the set screws came out and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what set screws to buy help me PLEASE I have a 212 3/4 bore 10t clutch
I put the 212 predator and mine is stock on a mag rim 26in pedal bike I'm getting over 40 miles an hour I also have a 36 tooth sprocket I could make it go faster but I feel a pedal bike should only go so fast LOL
Somebody please tell me the guy in video has it backwards?. Just did my install and aligned the chain with the clutch the other way? Please lmk asap if I fucked up
Am I the only one who think he put the shit on backwards? Lol every clutch you see the metal looking side is inside and the sprocket is on the outside or am I trippin???
Dude just jams the clutch without setting the built in keyway to the shaft. Do not do what he did people 😂also not aligning your clutch with your sprocket with a chain will be crucial to your build. Never know if you need to add a washer or two. And an 1/8 or 1/16 of play in your clutch is good. You don’t want it solid. 🫡

thanks you prefer the clutch or torque converter
Do you have to put the key little black piece into the key hole before tighten it
Yes
Do i need a clutch pedal if it doesn't have one

Not the poster, but you could try Loctite. Intended to keep screws and bolts secure even under vibration.
@@undrwateranarchy thanks.
Hie l see other people they put it the other way round is it also fine to do so?
It just depends how the clutch lines up with the rear sprocket. On mini bikes it’s usually backwards. For go karts it’s on the other way
@@josephsaltsman2684 which way are calling "backwards"
@@kirbylee57 because the sprocket is facing toward the motor

They say to put oil on the bushing inside. But I just spray it down while running
Just put few drops of oil by bolt and bush
I have a 212 engine but How would I know what clutch to get so the chain can fit
Whatever the old chain says. Look at the links. It should be either 35, 40, 41, or 420
Do you have an instagram or Snapchat so you could show me
What size are the screws that hold the clutch in ??
5/16-24
Is the 212cc the same installation as the 301cc predator engine? Gonna buy a go kart but says clutch needs adjustment/ replacement.
I believe the engine holes are different

I’d take it off and go to your local hardware store and see what works. I believe it depends on the brand of clutch
Did you figure it out
What size allen keys are those clutch screws using?
I saw another video where his clutch got really really hot what do I have to do there if I’m doing the same thing
Try getting a bigger rear sprocket or small clutch sprocket
Hey how can you remove one wit at home tools 😩
Pry bar
So is it normal for the clutch bolt / washer to spin with the clutch? Or should I be using a longer bolt?
Yes it’s normal. Just spinning with the crank
Were me buy that clutch
Is the cat required for the install?
Yes
Thanks for the information 👍☺️
I got a 212 trying to find video how to install engine on monster moto
What size is your chain ?
35
Valuable info precate it💯
What size is the cluch

3/4
Y r u mounting the clutch inside out? The chain and sprockets r supposed to be on outside yo
Thats how it lines up yo

12 to 75 so about a 6 to 1 think

Thats awesome. I just put one on a schwinn occ chopper. My first 4 stroke build. I usually ride the 2 stroke kits
I'm so nervous I got bt200x and I'm getting the same engine
Ain’t nothing to be nervous abt. Everything should bolt right uo
Nesecito un cloch de esos dónde lo puedo conseguir para un motociltor
I got mine on amazon pretty cheap
Dude your clutch is backwards

@@marcomrtz15 some clutches are made to be put on either way.
All u are wrong. Your supposed to put it on the way it lined up so the chain is straight.
@@RealestateKingThe1Yea I need to do that for mine
My clutch bolt stripped when tightening with the impact driver. Not sure what I did wrong but hopefully the thread in the shaft is ok.
Could’ve cross threaded it. Always tighten a couple times by hand before using an impact
@@josephsaltsman2684 I ran a tap through it and was able to get a new bolt in there (same size).
It's gonna be slow with a straight chain your better off getting a torque unit and put it on there
Nead chain tensioner and clutch speacer
Never had a problem
@@josephsaltsman2684 Just helpfull to much slack fucks up chain & sprocket if you hear it fix & lube they sey good luck to you in your journeys
What number of teeth do you have on both sprockets. I bought the motor today.
12/75
You need shims/spacer between engine and clutch, going to throw your chain.
Haven’t had a problem
what number chain did u use?
#35. Eventually changed to #40
This would be backwards on my go kart
It just depends how the chain lines up
U need a spacer for the clutch
Nope. Lines up perfectly
You installed this backwards i hope nobody follows this

It was lined up on the dot. Key way was lined up with some play. I check stuff off camera as well
It wouldn’t have gone in if it wasn’t matched up 🤦🏽♂️
