  • No matter where you enjoy this cocktail, you will feel like you're sipping it on a beach in the Caribbean. With heavy notes of rum and Coconut Cream, this island cocktail is a winner.
Here's what you need to make The Trade Winds:
    - 1oz. (30ML) Dark Rum
    - 1oz. (30ML) Light Rum
    - 1oz. (30ML) Fresh Lemon Juice
    - 1.5oz. (45ML) Cream of Coconut
    - 1oz. (30ML) Apricot Liqueur
    - Lemon Wheel to Garnish
    Glassware:
    - Footed Pilsner or Tiki Glass
    Bar Tools:
    - Jigger
    - Shaker Tin
    - Lewis Bag
    - Wooden Mallet
In a shaker tin add the Dark Rum, Light Rum, Lemon Juice, Cream of Coconut, and Apricot Liqueur. Crush up some ice in a Lewis bag and add it to the shaker tin. You want to fill the shaker up about half way with crushed ice. Then add cubed ice to fill shaker until it's about 3/4 full. Now shake the Cocktail until the tin is frosty. Dump the entirety of the shaker's contents into a footed pilsner glass or tiki glass. Do not strain this cocktail. Add the lemon wheel garnish. Enjoy!
