Furrion is Trash!!! Have truer words ever been uttered? I have come so close to ripping out our Furrion stove & cooktop just one year after installing it. That table in the Keystone Hideout was ingenious. And to answer your question, yes we use our shower and it's even a wet bath! Thanks for the fun video and ramble through the RV's with a big Modelo...
Right! Everything we've had that was furrion was garbage! The hideout table was pretty awesome we must say. We actually really liked that destination trailer. If we ever go seasonal again we'd probably really consider that one, and of course keep the wraith to travel!
We drove 2 hours to buy our camper at Town and Country - wonderful dealership! Family-owned for over 50 years, customer service is over the top, especially compared to RV chain dealerships. We also will never have a slide out, we see nothing but problems with them all over UA-cam. Our Jayco 212QB is a perfect travel trailer for the two of us and our dog, and no slides! Fun to look at all the others, thanks for sharing.
Agree 100% with the no slides. As for the bathroom if we are not FH, we only use the bathroom Toilet for emergencies ( or after one too many cocktails) and over night, shower we have only ever used once or twice, old habit die hard from our popup days. We boondock a lot and such a pain to have to move the rig or get the honey wagon out all the time to dump. Dishes and limited use we only dump when we leave in a 2 week stay
After growing up tenting, using the bathrooms and showers in RVs was WEIRD at first but now, we cannot go back! The convenience and privacy plus it's just our germs, makes it so nice
We have a Travel Trailer and we use our shower and bathroom all the time. I prefer it better than bathouuses. We also use our bathroom even when stopping at a rest area.
Exactly! We'd rather deal with our own 'dirt' vs hundreds of strangers... Plus the privacy! Curtains have been pulled by kids back in our tent/pop up days😒

I’m 5 ‘. A step up toilet and shower are a hard no go. That’s the first thing I look at. If it has those, I walk out. I could care less about any other features.
We definitely thought about the shorter rv'ers with those features! You'd definitely need a squatty potty at a minimum. We aren't fans of the lifted toilets either
60/40 RV shower vs shower house. If the shower house is basic and not clean, then RV 100%. But if the shower house is modern and well maintained, it’s nice to spread out and let the water just run sometimes. Also depends if there are 3 of us getting ready simultaneously and on some sort of schedule for the day. But definitely no #2 in the RV, unless in emergency of course. We spent the first year of owning our “new to us” class A, bringing the black tank health back to life. Precious owners were not fans of proper dumping technique 💩😡
We live out in the country in a sticks and bricks. Bought a 24ft Class C to have a bathroom when going to the city for supplies. Then started going on actual trips we only use our private bathroom and shower! Don't understand using bath house 🤷♀️
I have bought 2 trailers from T&C, and my brother one. Cannot beat their prices. Good and bad experiences with service dept. I was able to schedule a time to bring trailer up to have outdoor lights replaced and was able to do it while I waited. Last time I had a leak, needed to schedule it, took a month to get it in, and another month before they even got to it. Still leaked when they finished with it ruining a whole season of camping.
We've done a lot of business with them in the past with buying RVs but I think RV service was a whole is pretty sad. They don't have anyone who really knows what they're doing because they only want to pay workers 12/hr. Same as RV manufacturers. You aren't going to get a quality product without quality workers
Fresh water tank is under bed. It’s quite similar to our Thor Majestic.i just couldn’t take all the steps. That grey area is your water tank and the black tank is under toilet, shower is above the shower. No slides were nice.
I'm a fan of the jean shorts. I always thought exactly the same about the slides. I'm surprised people buy them. Especially at the prices RVs sell for.

What if it plugs or overflows...then the smell.... as far as the shower goes, a no go.... she is worried about it leaking behind the shower surround and or molded growing. Also, why not use the shower house? You paid for your spot, use their water. A battle that a wise man knows he can never win...lol.

Sorry the Wraith is down. Any ETA on its revival? I have a shower and I generally use it except right now. I'm in a campground without full hookups (I opted for lake front instead of full hookups) but they have a nice shower house. If I had full hookups I would be using the rig's shower. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Yeah that's one thing I think about with the big class A windshield😬 Hopefully the wraith will be back up soon but still need to get the levelers back up and running. We have some trips we want to do soon so hopefully we can get it back up within a few weeks
I’ve never understood people who don’t use their own showers. Of course. If you have a 16’ TT that has a tiny shower with a shower curtain, then I get it.
If you buy a RV with a full bathroom... Why not use it! Most people only use it for a few days per trip so that's plenty of water/tanks. I love not using the shower house!

I'm old, I've been re'ing since I was a little kid, Grandma and Grandpa were some of the first snowbirds to florida. I've camped/rv'd in everything from tents to class a's. Family or my wife and I have owned 12 'campers' I've camped in. My wife and I with our twins have been thru class c jamboree, class a bounder 34j and our current 30' travel trailer. I really want a small 5th wheel with the biggest tanks I can can so we can go and prolonged stay anywhere. RV manufacturers are starting to catch on I think and hope. Nothing wrong with the 40' alll the bells and whistles except it kinda rules out state/national parks and even on the road overnighters if you pull off too late. Sorry, I got long winded. Lord I hope your aren't a size queen (how's that for levity and self depreciation?)
We have had a seasonal site previously! We owned 2 RVs at the same time, one stayed put and one we traveled with. We liked the small 5th wheel! Mike loves the smaller RVs (hence the size queen comment lol)

We wondered if that what that was. Our fresh tank is under our bed but fully accessable by lifting the bed.
