I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a hard worker than this young man. Your home will be stunning. Good job
Agree. Between him and Dan off escape to rural France these 2 are such hard workers and don’t seem to stop. To me they are the only 2 that I know of so far
I totally agree!
..... I don’t think I’ve ever seen a harder worker than this young man .....
He surely is an inspiration! Capiche?
I know filming slows you down but we appreciate every second of it
Look at Brady; all that hard work and nothing but a big grin on his face.
Of all the vlogs I watch on UA-cam of people restoring a home in the mountains or in a village in Italy, you have the most spectacular view! To be able to look out your windows and see that? Worth all the money in the world.
Do you also follow Martijn Doolaart in the Italian Alps??
Highly recommended.
@@lucaspolderman6622 Yes. I have watched him from the beginning. Don’t think I have ever seen anyone who is more a perfectionist than he is unless it would be the “Self Reliance” vlog out of Canada.
“My hair! My hair, Brady!” 😂😂😂 “You don’t have any hair!”😂😂😂
😅
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
That was hilarious!!
Brady, you are the James Bond of builders- brave, fearless, inventive, and a bit crazy- we absolutely love you guys!! So wonderful to see the progress!!
Brady you are full of happiness and energy.as always if and when you finish that mammoth job you deserve a medal.
Challenges of remodelling a barn on a mountainside in the Alps of Northern Italy. You will have an incredible view and hopefully be able to enjoy your home for many years without more complications.
For one more time ,I take my hat off to you Brady!!!❤❤❤❤🇬🇷 🇬🇷
I never realized how much I enjoy your videos until the Sunday fix was delayed. Looks like multiple projects are ramping up and you're meeting them with a great aplomb...
Kudos to Brady, Heather, and the entire team of renovators! MVP Andrea the Excavator!! 🏅
One day you will look back and wonder 🤔 how did you have all the strength! It's going to be incredible! Blessings 💞🙏🏻💞
Unstoppable, inexhaustible and multitalented..Hats off to you both.
Did you ever think it would take this long to rebuild this house? It is going to be amazing!
It's only time,no rush.❤
Someday, you will be sipping wine/coffee on the beautiful deck. You will be looking at wonderful landscaping and that gorgeous view of the mountains. The church bells will be ringing, birds will be chirping. Your daughters will be tucked in their comfy beds.
Thank goodness you have all these blogs to remind you of how far you’ve come and how much you worked towards this dream! Cheering you both on from flat Indiana😂
The house is coming along amazingly. I do miss seeing the kids.
@rosehalpin8108 I miss the girls too.
My favourite viewing on the internet right now. Something about these videos is quite addictive.
I really hope you’ll have a House Warming Party and invite so many of your incredible artisans who have been involved in bringing your vision to life ❣️❣️❣️
That would be a great idea
😂😢
Never clicked on a video so fast 😂 thanks guys.
Fantastic progress!!! Brady, you are an AMAZING individual! You have worked so so hard in building this house and juggling everything. Bravo to you and Heather for keeping yourselves focused, centered and smiling 😄❤️🙌🏼🇺🇸
Желаю вам поскорее достроить свой красивый дом и жить в нем долго и счастливо. Вы заслужили это своим упорным трудом !❤
Your patience Brady with all the obstacles is amazing
Dry wall & mudding are the worst jobs that being said I am so.. happy for you both that you were able to hire this out to professionals. Seeing the smiles on your faces is PRICELESS! Please be sure your humidity isn’t over 50% because mold will produce at higher rates. Many people are sick from mold toxicity in USA. Change the air is a nonprofit on utube that will give you info. for free🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Your stamina for all of this is incredible. I feel as if I'm getting a new home. Happy to see all the drywall being pulled up the road. The end is near dear friends! Start planning the house warming party.
Brady, you are a man with a mission no messing around with you ,you work so hard . It's going to be an amazing home for you and your family ❤
Yahoo, I'm so excited for you all. I think that when the drywall is up it's much more clearer to see the home done. How exciting for you all. ❤
The progress from here on out will be so exciting!
I am so happy I tripped over this channel one day, a long time ago... you have brought me hours of enjoyable viewing, emotional highs and lows... spectacular views and a stunning structure coming to life in front of me... Tradesmen that mesmerize with their skills, you can almost hear the music as they work... You are so hard working Brady, always smiling and you enjoy it... Well done and thank you so much for sharing this with us all...
It is unbelievable the amount of effort. Congratulations.
You are THE most hardworking man I see on here 😊 well done to you xx
❤love your videos. I'm almost as excited to see your home as your wife. It's going to be so amazing. 😊
The house is really starting to come together! It is going to be very beautiful when completed! Great job by you and the entire team!
When you weren’t here Sunday, I started to worry about you. Im hooked. LOL
Holy cow, that dry wall crew meant business...they just cranked it out! The drywall does help to vision the house quite a bit. Love how you all deal with the challenges....just put a smile on and get on with it. I absolutely cannot wait to see the finished product! Inching closer and closer every day!! 😊
Like seeing a team put up the drywall and mud. I honestly always enjoy your videos. ❤
I am so excited for your home. I know it is going to be so lovely.
Would you ever consider a long zip line (foofy slide in South Africa) from the top terrace to the bottom of your front garden? You could use a winch like motor to take the seat or stand back up.Well done you guys, your house is staring to take amazing shape!
Or maybe a zip line all the way into town!
I don't know how you do this hard, physical work day after day after day, Brady. I wouldn't miss a single Raising Voyagers video, though I am exhausted just watching your labor every time. Bravo! 😊
A Giant leap forward for the day and yes you certainly wished you were at least three persons when that happens but you handled it perfectly.
Respect from a retired South African Boer.
Wow! Brady, you’re juggling so many balls! Bravo!!!
hi, could you/would you please film what it looks like to travel from town to your house. I would LOVE to see the countryside and how the roads are there . thank you. ps.I know you are looking forward to being done, but I will be sad
I second this request!! great idea
Those guys doing the plaster boarding/plastering are so fast that I nearly checked my download speed to see if I had accidentally changed it. That's an amazing team of workers.
That guy putting the plaster up on the dry wall is amazing. 'Brady my hair, my hair' never laughed so much as I did tonight watching this video. How you all come together to sort out the challenges and deliveries, the digger wins. Have a lovely week.
Tylko można podziwiać pracę tego człowieka, brawo, ❤❤❤
Those stones make that beautiful character ,it will be absolutely stuning
How do y'all manage everything and stay remarkably sane? 😂 The house is coming together and the struggles will be worth it. ❤
My aunt built her house on the side of a mountain and the driveway had a 130° turn half way up with a 25 foot rise from bottom to top. It was a challenge to get her utility vehicle up the driveway when it snowed, which at a ski resort is pretty much a given.
In terms of utilities and digging trenches, its better to do a great job the first time than an ok job more than once. Good choice on your part!
Thank you for sharing. Epic build day. So many snafus.
If you got a free pass on drywall it's ok. Remember digging the floors out? Your back says thank you even if your brain does not hear!
Wow that guy plastering the walls ,so quick, best I've seen
Wow, now things start to look just awesome! 👏🏻👏🏻
Can't wait to see the next video!! Thanks for the update. Greetings Melinda 👋🏻
So much respect for all those hard working men. Of course also the respect for the family. It will be beautiful after all.
Those guys who are working for you are AMAZING!!!
Good episode!
I continue to admire your your moving forward and finding a way to push forward when obstacles come up. Your forever home is no longer just a dream, it is coming true every day. Great work Brady!
Your house and construction zone is starting to come together. You constantly face challenges every day but Brady you just figure it out and move on through them all, well done Brady. I am curious to know how much you've already spent on the renovations as I'm sure many others are too so hope you can share this with us at some point. Thank you for sharing. Eventually you will have a beautiful family home.
Очень рада , вы молодцы 👍👍👍
So fantastic to see everything coming together. I’m anticipating every new step towards completion. The family must be so excited to get closer to moving in!
Happy you guys starting to see the result of many months of hard work. Is going to be a great home
We take for granted all the commodities. Great work. It's going to be so beatiful. Worth all the sweat and tears.
love watching the great progress your are at thank you so much for letting us watch your homing alive
In Sweden we put play wood or osb behind the drywall it’s easier if you want to hang something have on the wall 😄 Impressive work ethic you and your family have, 👍👍
The Isuzu truck is braaand new! That's why they didn't want to try their luck with the slippery uphill !
I absolutely love your attitude, you are amazing and your wife so incredibly supportive! She makes sure to be on hand when she can and provide her lovely smile and encouragement, thank you for sharing your lives with us . Just watching I can feel how discouraging some parts are but 😅you put a brave smile and press on . I’ve been watching since early days and agree with your wife , at first , it was hard to picture those beautiful walls and finished floors ect . When I think of how much work you both have done to bring the house this far it blesses me , I mean Brady , digging the barn floor down two feet , that was overwhelming to me ! Loved this video and the humor interjected by your helper , “my hair , Brady my hair “ 😂
After watching all the hard work at the beginning digging out all those rocks I didn’t think the rest of the journey could get more labor intense but it just continues to be extremely laborious and your stamina AMAZES. I can’t help wishing for you the days when it’s easier and for this home to finally be finished so you can relax, enjoy the beauty with your whole family and days become peaceful and hard work will be a memory. Congrats on your progress. Much admiration for dogged determination to complete. Love your video’s but pray for your safety and health to continue as you so very much deserve it. ❤❤❤❤
Extremely laborious and dogged determination - indeed!
One obstacle after another ... but you always overcome these problems. Wow, the house is really taking shape. Man, oh man, you have worked so hard with all these contractors. EXCITING TIMES ❤
Love the way things are changing. It's gonna be beautiful.
The most challenging building sites are the most rewarding at the end. You'll get there and look back, laughing.
Wow! This progress was spectacular. You are closing in on the finish line. Gorgeous!!
Brady, my question to you is, how did you manage to get such good contractors to help you? I’ve seen so many horror stories about the difficulty in getting good quality contractors to work in Italy given some of their proclivities to only work when they want to and not when you need them. It seems to me at least these past couple of months you’ve hit the jackpot concerning contractors with reliability, professionalism and talent. I imagine your willingness to join in and help with the hard work not to mention your obvious ability goes a long way to garner much respect between the contractors, workers and yourself. Love your channel and admire your skills and perseverance. Watching from PA, USA.
Was thinking the same thing about the contractors.
It is indeed very difficult to find here in Italy good quality contractors available to work on your house. Impossible to fix a schedule and to coordinate all the people in order to go head as fast as possible. Another big problem is that workers and contactors are ageing and struggle to find young workers to hire.
It depends on the areas of Italy, but this happens everywhere in Europe..I worked with technicians in France who had to surf in the morning and showed up at the construction site when it happened in the afternoon..Here the problems in percentage occur towards the south but at dord where the most work is done must be sent and they try to close the work as soon as possible so as not to lose orders...it all depends on whether the client has the money and can afford to finish the work, on the designer and the construction manager. The most famous areas where there are tireless companies is the Bergamo area, near Milan but in general almost all designers rely on trusted companies every time they have to build throughout Italy because they know how to work together, they bring clients and they make price discounts..so when the customer does not know the companies, the designers themselves will indicate the good companies to the customers so that the designer himself in the end has no problems closing the works.
Brady, you are amazing! The thought process that you are putting into each detail is very complex. I wouldn’t be able to sleep, worrying that I might forget a step or not put things in the right order! Kudos to you and the team!
I have watched you from the beginning, and what a transformation is taking place. well done for your perseverance. The pair of you should be proud of what have achieved. and it will be home for the rest of your days.
It's looking great. Can't wait to see it finished
"My hair !!!". Priceless
Bradey is like the ever ready bunny. He just keeps on going and going and going ... talk about stamina, wow ! : ).
Just WOW!😎🥰 All I could do was repeat that & “Amazing”. ❤❤❤❤ Much love to you - Heather, Brady & the wee girls. 😊❤🇨🇦😎
wow you guys rock. That is a lot of taping and mudding. Lots of rock. WOWZA how far you have come. Love watching your progress. Gina in Upstate New York USA moving to Portugal/Italy
It’s going to be incredible!! I’ve enjoyed this journey with you all.
Geez was wondering if you were all OK, missed you on Sunday!😊
I can feel and see the excitement and joy in you! You have never smiled so fully.
Regarding stone walls on the interior of your home, it's possible to clad drywall with stone or brick. It just requires the stone or brick to be sliced into thinner pieces. You then apply those pieces like tiles and grout them with mortar.
Watching from St Andrew Jamaica 🇯🇲
The house and everything is going to happen!
You have worked so much,,,,you should be so proud,,,God Bless you and your beautiful family
The house is coming along beautifully. It's gonna be amazing. Thank you for sharing.
You seem to be able to comminicate very well in Italian, bravo! Plus, your wife looked really beautiful at the begining of this post, such lovely skin too.
Wow a lot of bodies in to help you .Bummer the weather was pants .Hope you get the road sorted out soon. I CANNOT see why they are making it hard for you to make the road more roadworthy ? Its all looking good and now the plaster boards up it is making it more like a home. Well done Brady you have achieved a fantastic house to live in. 👏😘
Absolutely fantastic 😊
I love following your journey. Best of luck with the final stages. It looks gorgeous!
Omg I’m so excited for you guys! It looks fantastic ❤
Hard work. It’s coming along with the extra hands to help. Bravo to everyone.
You and the team are amazing Brady wow its sooooo much work ❤
My goodness Brady, I have never seen someone work so hard and long. 👏👏👏
that old house is starting to look like a castle!!! keep up the good work.
Your description of your power hookup is exactly what we have in Australia. We have a fully electric home. With the extra internal insulation in the walls its been well worth while, we haven't had a bill to pay for over 12 months. We are in credit with the power company and with spring and summer just starting we will be adding significantly to that credit which should see all our bills taken care of for the next year too.
I love your optimism about cleaning this all up and back to normal 😂! What is normal is not a part of your construction site, it’s the most complicating site I’ve ever seen 😊😮best wishes always and it’s great seeing the progress 🎉
Of all the vlogs I watch here on UA-cam I have to say Brady you work the hardest I admire immensely ❤
I never imagined such a modern house when you first bought it and showed it to us. I thought you would be off grid and have mostly stone walls. You will have a very nice and comfortable place when it is finished.
Good thing Bradey has a production background! It's going to be gorgeous! Can't wait for the next video to see further the results! Keep going...!
Finally I'm so happy to see the drywall...woow the long awaited day has come...from having problems with the house being considered historical....the newbys coming....finally....I'm happy and can't wait to see beautiful house at the of it all.
Great day, it's coming together!!
