I used to live in Margate until a few years ago.I am deaf and use sign language and yes we can swear but actually Margate was well known for people swearing all the time. What a ridiculous rule to try and fine people for swearing. Honestly it makes me laugh mate.
This isn't really even a question on whether or not we should ban swearing in public, it's a question on whether or not the UK should turn into a Middle Eastern country and become a dictatorship rather than a democracy. Next we won't be allowed to even hold hands with our partners/spouse in the street. (No disrespect to Middle Eastern/Sharia traditions intended, just it doesn't belong here)

England please adopt a Bill of Rights. This is insane. Doesn't the woman in yellow realize that if someone hits their head then swears, there will be at least one snowflake that will be offended? If people don't want their kids to hear any swearing, then take them to places and activities specifically for children. The whole world can't be a big nursery school .
As a thanet local i can tell you the council will do what they can to rinse the populace to line their pockets, historical misuse of.public funds locally
