A good portion of Gen Zs reminds me of us Gen X-ers...gives me hope for the future. My husband of 36 years has worked really hard to get me home to be a mom and house wife. I was home full time when our first child was 16 months old, then we had child 2 11 years into our marriage. THEN he changed careers, took over 16 tech/IT exams to earn 11 certifications so I could be home with the children. Also for about 3 years he was working 50-60 hour weeks off and on during those years. He also works on our own cars/repairs when he can and does a good job of that. Children are raised and Now we are soon to rolling into retirement. Why would I complain about raising OUR children, cleaning the house or cooking meals when he did all of that.
Your relationship model is what men strive for. Family is everything. My children are my greatest accomplishment. I wish I could say that about my marriage. When I worked in Sri Lanka 2006-2008 as an Immigration officer, there was a program of resettlement to Canada for those seriously affected by the tsunami. I was going through thousands of files, each file representing a family, and in each family there was often a trend of pictures missing for the mother and the baby of the family, because they weren't included on the application. They were deceased. Gradually it dawned on me: the older kids and the father had managed to hang onto something when the great wall of water came unexpectedly, and the mother had let go of safety to go after her baby floating out to sea. I saw it on enough applications to make sure I'd never forget it. Western women are very different. God bless.

28 years of age and only just getting starting on building a home. I have been happily living in the woods in hammock gathering firewood and selling it. Not broke have plenty of money for me. I just choose what's best for me. Btw I live in Alaska and live in the woods in a hammock through the winter because I can.

Keira, I would tell you a story. You are doing great vids for men, I can relate deeply to the points made in the video. I once poured a significant part of my earnings ( it was huge deal I had given my soul emotions finance everything) into a relationship, convinced that true love meant treating my girlfriend like a princess. My motivation came from a place of wanting to do better, inspired by the struggles my mother faced in her marriage. However, during the lockdown, I discovered that my girlfriend was seeing another man almost daily, right next to my rented room. When she announced she had found a new love, it was a harsh wake-up call. Despite all my efforts and sacrifices, she moved on without a second thought. It made me realize how some people can be incredibly ungrateful and self-serving. This experience echoes the idea that men often invest heavily, sometimes without being truly appreciated, much like the video suggests about how men have historically built and sacrificed for a world where some may not fully value that effort. It’s a reminder that while men have built and fought for the world we live in, the appreciation isn’t always there. Finding genuine people who recognize and value loyalty is challenging, but it’s something I continue to hope for.
Men will give their all for vulnerable women and children that need them. Not one woman alive goes to work so she can provide for a man. Not one. Nothing is more disrespectful and offensive to men than saying “I don’t need no man”. My mother just died. I never realized this about my parents when I was young, but I later realized that what I thought was love for us as children was really all about them…they loved us for how we made them feel, not because they actually loved us. Ultimately, this is our fault as men. We allow this system to continue. Women have no inherent power. All they can do is beg us or try to convince us. The most satisfying act is not buying a house but building a home. I thank my dad for setting the example, i helped him upgrade the family home by my own hands. Now i got my own plot of land. Soon i will taste that salty sweat and feel the muscle relief when you lay down after a busy day carrying bricks, mixing sand and concrete, bending metal, building walls in my own home.

We worked together, to grow food, raise children, build villages, get water. Labors and tasks were divided equitably -- according to ability. So Men hunted, and Women grew food or raised kids. Second, our early World was under constant threat -- from famine, the elements, wild animals, accident, disease, and worst of all: hostile Humans, who wanted to take what we had built, especially our Women. So we had to organize better to defend ourselves. That need to organize for collective defense was the start of civilization, which progressed from small scale "tribes" with "chieftans" to large scale empires with "kings". Our history can be characterized as an ongoing struggle to achieve more, while working out the flaws in our social structure and political organization. Fast forward to today, and you are correct: the World has become safe enough that Women no longer need to work with Men, don't rely on them. And Men are purpose driven -- without the motivation and inspiration of Women, wife, family, children -- well, what's the point? So there you go.

You point out something really crucial without emphasizing it enough and doing women a disservice. I'm not trying to ultra-male-feminist here but women play a key role in "men building the world." Women are our rock, our foundation, our reason for wanting to build things. Without the emotional support and encouragement from women, men have no purpose for building, no purpose for fighting for ourselves or the world. Our current culture has us pitted against each other. Men gave women a reason to betray us, they started betraying us, we walked away and women vilified us for the condemnable acts of a few. Now those of us that still see the value in the symbiotic relationship are left holding our hands in air asking why. Its reassuring that there are women out that have perspective on this. But don't put all the blame on women, we all did this but women are certainly holding the bag right now.
Well, yes we did fail by letting a tiny fraction of men become so powerful they became a blight on everyone. We did get caught up in the adrenaline of competition and raise certain characters too high, e.g. Korean War generals, high tech executives. But her premise is that all of the struggles and mistakes were about the building process, that women should hold on to their respect of men for that, and things have changed. Retrospectives will help but she's dead on that men need to reestablish their strength roles in a a completely tamed world. My main beef with the whole gym obsession movement is that it doesn't address the new society skills required of men.

As a man who works construction I can confidently say this.......... We're STILL building the world, and we're maintaining the world. In the US there's roughly 750k construction workers. 94% are men. Think how fast we'd lose our creature comforts if 720,000 men said "I'm done, you fix it".
I don't know why I feel it's just an US problem. I think European women apricate men, don't shout and demand things unless they have earned it themselves. I think US women will see it too, will get reality check and will go back to how it was soon, life is a sinusoid and society goes through cycles. Recession will help as HR and soft jobs are going to be cut first and women will look for support.

I wish more people would realize this. I see more and more people advocating for some "off-grid" living situation. They praise nature. While becoming self-sufficient is a worthy goal, nature is brutal. 1st world people have no understanding of the brutalities of nature, and WHY civilization was built in the first place.
If men stopped working today you would have no food in your belly in under a month. No medication. No fuel for your car. And there would be roving bands of armed men taking what they want, your food, property, and body. We are less than a month away from total chaos at any given moment. My husband of 36 years has worked really hard to get me home to be a mom and house wife. I was home full time when our first child was 16 months old, then we had child 2 11 years into our marriage. THEN he changed careers, took over 16 tech/IT exams to earn 11 certifications so I could be home with the children. Also for about 3 years he was working 50-60 hour weeks off and on during those years. He also works on our own cars/repairs when he can and does a good job of that. Children are raised and Now we are soon to rolling into retirement.
Why would I complain about raising OUR children, cleaning the house or cooking meals when he did all of that.

When I worked in Sri Lanka 2006-2008 as an Immigration officer, there was a program of resettlement to Canada for those seriously affected by the tsunami. I was going through thousands of files, each file representing a family, and in each family there was often a trend of pictures missing for the mother and the baby of the family, because they weren't included on the application. They were deceased. Gradually it dawned on me: the older kids and the father had managed to hang onto something when the great wall of water came unexpectedly, and the mother had let go of safety to go after her baby floating out to sea. I saw it on enough applications to make sure I'd never forget it. Western women are very different. God bless.

I can relate deeply to the points made in the video. I once poured a significant part of my earnings ( it was huge deal I had given my soul emotions finance everything) into a relationship, convinced that true love meant treating my girlfriend like a princess. My motivation came from a place of wanting to do better, inspired by the struggles my mother faced in her marriage.
However, during the lockdown, I discovered that my girlfriend was seeing another man almost daily, right next to my rented room. When she announced she had found a new love, it was a harsh wake-up call. Despite all my efforts and sacrifices, she moved on without a second thought. It made me realize how some people can be incredibly ungrateful and self-serving.
This experience echoes the idea that men often invest heavily, sometimes without being truly appreciated, much like the video suggests about how men have historically built and sacrificed for a world where some may not fully value that effort. I was married for 8 years and I really genuinely enjoyed looking out for my woman - but indeed, the reciprocal respect has eroded with many (though I wouldn't say all) and that's pretty much what had things move their course.
There is an issue with attacking men.

I have lived 63 years and it took me decades to adjust to how to live a solutary life. I just never understood why I should be interested in women if the only attention they ever gave me was their politeness instead of being interested.

We worked together, to grow food, raise children, build villages, get water. Labors and tasks were divided equitably -- according to ability. So Men hunted, and Women grew food or raised kids. Second, our early World was under constant threat -- from famine, the elements, wild animals, accident, disease, and worst of all: hostile Humans, who wanted to take what we had built, especially our Women. So we had to organize better to defend ourselves. That need to organize for collective defense was the start of civilization, which progressed from small scale "tribes" with "chieftans" to large scale empires with "kings". Our history can be characterized as an ongoing struggle to achieve more, while working out the flaws in our social structure and political organization. Fast forward to today, and you are correct: the World has become safe enough that Women no longer need to work with Men, don't rely on them. And Men are purpose driven -- without the motivation and inspiration of Women, wife, family, children -- well, what's the point? So there you go.

You point out something really crucial without emphasizing it enough and doing women a disservice. I'm not trying to ultra-male-feminist here but women play a key role in "men building the world." Women are our rock, our foundation, our reason for wanting to build things. Without the emotional support and encouragement from women, men have no purpose for building, no purpose for fighting for ourselves or the world. Our current culture has us pitted against each other. Men gave women a reason to betray us, they started betraying us, we walked away and women vilified us for the condemnable acts of a few. Now those of us that still see the value in the symbiotic relationship are left holding our hands in air asking why. Its reassuring that there are women out that have perspective on this. But don't put all the blame on women, we all did this but women are certainly holding the bag right now.
Well, yes we did fail by letting a tiny fraction of men become so powerful they became a blight on everyone. We did get caught up in the adrenaline of competition and raise certain characters too high, e.g. Korean War generals, high tech executives. But her premise is that all of the struggles and mistakes were about the building process, that women should hold on to their respect of men for that, and things have changed. Retrospectives will help but she's dead on that men need to reestablish their strength roles in a a completely tamed world. My main beef with the whole gym obsession movement is that it doesn't address the new society skills required of men.

I wish more people would realize this. I see more and more people advocating for some "off-grid" living situation. They praise nature. While becoming self-sufficient is a worthy goal, nature is brutal. 1st world people have no understanding of the brutalities of nature, and WHY civilization was built in the first place.
If men stopped working today you would have no food in your belly in under a month. No medication. No fuel for your car. And there would be roving bands of armed men taking what they want, your food, property, and body. We are less than a month away from total chaos at any given moment. If men fold their hands and refuse to labor, this all falls apart immediately.
Thats what you get crying wolf, you get the wolf after you. Be careful what you wish for.
Facts: Action speaks louder than words
I'm assuming that this young lady was certainly raised by a responsible father. When men take on a more active role in the upbringing of their children, we will begin to see more women like her.
When you ASSUME, you make an Azzz out of you and HER. Her father left the family at a young age and she has no relationship with him.
Men sacrifice everything for women.
Women sacrifice everything for their children.
If women have no kids, they have nothing to live for but themselves.
