One of the most underrated bands of all time.
    Any listeners in 2024?

One here👌 absolutely agree. I think the fact they are an independent band is a big factor, even though we know these days perhaps more artists can make it that way. Also, pretty niche sound. Their timing and independent status were probably two main factors.

You can definitely hear the jazz influence. In the beginning, you heard the piano player quote "Four". Also, their songs are well above simple 4-chord-songs. They fuse advanced harmonies and different key centers. Rhythmically tight as hell. Just amazing musicians playing amazing music!

Was going to mention that. The note choices on the opening harmonies are excellent. Spot on, and powerful!

My memory is fleeting with age
As I prepare to touch my pen to the fiber of this page
Though the ink will run dry long before
I can write my final tale, given all that lies in store
I'm holding on for dear life
I barrel through the good times after crawling through the strife
With every moment passing never to return
I'm getting along in my days
Sifting through the sadness for the calm of better days
As long as I keep breathing I can find my way
    I just can't give in
World's so dead that I am living in
I'll hold out for something else
    Something words can never tell
    Can't tell
From my way beyond the darkness straight into the light
Promises I'll have my wits to guide me through the night
I don't dare to turn my head to either side
It all leads me to sway
    The words that people say...
But they won't sweep me away, not today
    I just can't give in
World's so dead that I am living in
I'll hold out for something else
Something bigger than, something better than
Something I can stand to find
    Yeah, yeah!

    ピアノの旋律は風景画を描くかのようで、白昼夢を見せてくれます。こんなピアニストはそうそう居ないのに、表から消えてしまったのは、大損害。今でも心から戻って欲しいと願っています。

FRESH SOUND! Thank you for not sounding like every other band out there! This song, in particular, has such an original vibe - with hints of, maybe, Santana (?) moving in and out of it. Thanks for not whining, for not going on and on about how bad your love life is, for not being just another angry young band. You guys have something powerful and positive to add to the music world.
