I love this album... I was in high-school and I associate this song with the first time I heard it... heading off-campus to the 7/11 for lunch w/ friends. Drugs, arrogance, betrayals, jealousy and insecurity have destroyed those relationships... so it's a bittersweet nostalgia for me. However, listening to the Micheal Cohen testimony this morning... I heard the line in the back of my mind, "get three coffins ready..." And had to play this as soundtrack to the ugliness just now being dragged into the hard light of the official record.
The BAD We’re completely original, Absolutely know one like them, Absolutely Fantastic Songs, Great Lyrics and Very Catchy Tunes, This song is an Absolute Masterpiece and I don’t know why they are not put up there with Anyone Else. This Album is a Musical Masterpiece great songs with an Incredible Lyrical Intellect, That goes even beyond Shakespeare, but That’s Old School Cockneys for ya .. Love you Mick and Don .. and the BAD.. We had it years ago.. and they gave it to us.. Proper London.. 🙏❤️🌞⭐️🎸❤️
when this album first came out and i bought it , i listened to this song constantly and although the video is pretty corny 🤣i love how Joe , Paul and Johnny Lydon show up in it. i was lucky enough to see BAD so many times in clubs and smaller venues
I watched this on the old grey whistle test and was hooked. I've seen them 4 times and have every album. This is my second favourite of thiers, Sambadrome is my favourite tune of all time, it got me looking at the world differently.
One the greatest recording ever. Big audio dynamite!!! Loved it when it was released and have the extraordinary presence to still be in awe of it at 55. Brilliant!!!!
"swapped 20 bottles for an Aqua Walkman" absolute classic. The 80s will go down as the most influential music genre of them all. The last period of uniqueness and brilliance.
❤i was 16 when I first heard this album. I was at catering college and some of us students went to Scotland to work on an army camp to cook in the army and officers mess. We met up with other students. This was the album we all listened to during the summer. Happy days 🎉xx❤
Moses Berkowitz You'd be surprised,Moses, how many times I've argued with people that the segment comes from one of the best Spaghetti Westerns of all time. They just don't agree! 😁

This is the first album I ever heard that used samples. Hearing dialog from Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns in the middle of that groove fits so well that it is a wonder no rock band had thought of utilizing it as much and as well as B.A.D.
+TheDrRudi I think Steve Jones is in there as well, about a minute in. In my deluded young mind of having loyalty to certain bands and calling others sell - outs, I forgot that these people are musicians and that's what the job entails, creating and hopefully earning a bob* or two along the way. bob = not so old word for a shilling UK money before European Union, I'm just not happy using the easy get out word "buck" Take it easy
Johnny Stingray I think your right, just had another look and I'm pretty sure it's him, some of the women look familiar, one in particular looks like Siouxsie Sioux. Who was the big fella with the hat?
I LOVED The Clash. They broke up and I moved on. Then BAD came around. Clash II with a very different sound but equally cool. Many great years of music from these folks.
Love this. One of BAD's best songs and hilarious video. Great to see Strummer and Simonon back with Jones - the nearest we ever had to a Clash reunion + even Lydon's in there. Not sure about his latest plan to play King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar though...
a drop of the laughter of the maids of france... class. Was too young to realise Micks gimmicking about with the dancing lady's belly at 3:52 ... his facial expression is priceless
I remember being a college DJ and "breaking" BAD on the radio when they came out... knew it was something special the first time I listened to it and it's still as fresh now as it was back then.
Contra you, Peter I think this is easily one of the greatest videos ever. You just have to appreciate the sense of humor behind this video. My God, they gave Johnny Lydon a machine gun. Really, Joe and Paul in jail with pillows stuck under their shirts? I'm not sure what is not to love in this vid.
I love this song. It makes me feel happy. Thank you Big Audio Dynamite. proves theirs life after the Clash...X :) wow heard for the first time in years and still know every word awesome band

This was so completely unique sounding and different when it came out. Wait. You know what? It still is.
