    There's also Artfol! I personally use it. They're also anti ai art (not sure on nfts but I doubt they're pro that) and it has a chronological feed rather than algorithmic. Personally, I enjoy it. ❤

    I hate that Instagram is now a tiktok wannabe. I recently made an Instagram account for art because my art 5 years ago I did pretty well, in the meantime I had quit art for the most part, but as my skill has been improving I wanted to post again on a new account. Nobody sees my art, even though I've grown a lot form where I was 5 years ago, when I started posting art then it immediately got engagement, so i know that my art isn't just so bad that nobody likes it. I don't know anything about video making and just wanna share art.

      I'm building the largest social network for artists. Eliora stands out as a dedicated social networking app for artists, combining the best elements of an art gallery, marketplace, and professional network. By addressing the unique needs of the artistic community, Eliora not only provides a platform for showcasing and enjoying art but also offers tangible career opportunities for artists. This project exemplifies my commitment to creating innovative and impactful digital solutions through thoughtful design and cutting-edge technology.

    Another thing with TikTok (from an artist watching artist content)
    They will not show you related content. At all. No matter how much you restrict unrelated hashtags or how much you click that 'not interested' button, eventually your feed will abandon art completely and instead show you what everyone else is watching.
    Instagram is much better in this respect, as if you're an art account, very little filtering is needed to curate your reels feed. Unfortunately with Instagram, you'll only see like 3 types of videos of whatevers trending, but at least you're seeing art content 😅😅
    UA-cam is my favorite because even though you have to transition completely into video making, your art doesn't have a lifespan. Your video may sit dormant for years and eventually blow up for no reason. Wheras Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc, give you a window of a few hours to a day for your work to be seen before its cast into the void forever (hence why it's difficult to grow on either of those platforms)

    Buddy, pro tip; maybe rewatch and review your video before posting it. I really was enjoying and taking some notes on this video for personal uses but while I was listening to your video I noticed there were some points in the video where the voice had 2 voices or was cut off mid record. It was really disorienting but overall nice video. Maybe, just fix that problem. That's all. Thank yaoau for this very informative video and have a nice day

    Everything u said about all these social media apps is very true and sad at the same time but the last one sounds very interesting to me I think I'll try out since all these apps are now over saturated with to much content it's hard for us artist to be seen

    Ah I didn't know about the DeviantArt AI art information...that's sad. I don't have current art on my account as the last time I posted any art was...uh..back in 2006 roughly, but I think I should get back my account and do something to hide my art since I don't want to AI art algorithms to take my art data...though that's probably too late now I suppose..
    Anywho I haven't posted art in a long time. Last time I did was on various Discord channels, and lots of the time most of the people cared more about the person doing the art than the art I made myself...and since I wasn't of their demographic I would be irrelevant to them basically. This hurt my feelings and mindset and therefore conditioned me into feeling like all platforms now have this similar mentality of people, artist or non-artist. I definitely am not feeling like Twitter would work out either..
    Perhaps Inkblot could be the answer. Hmm..but all in all thank you for the informative video. Have a good one✌

    Deviantart is also rampant with art theft prior to the AI swamp full of leeches, so I wouldn't recommend DeviantArt either way. Once upon a time you have a rather high chance of seeing a Knuckles the Echidna stock image from Sonic Heroes featured on the front page, garnering more views than any legitimate artwork on the platform. It's sad to watch.

    Getting 10 likes on Artstation worths around 1000 likes on Instagram

    • @inuendo6365
      @inuendo6365 22 дні тому +1

      If you care more about likes from other artists vs likes from general people. I go to conventions so I'd rather have the 1000 on Insta because it's more likely I'll hear "I saw your stuff on Instagram, it's so cool!" in-person.
      That, and it felt icky when Artstation started featuring NFTs and AI. It was supposed to be the more "professional" site but it feels like DeviantArt 2 now.
