No...AND IT WAS GLORIOUS!! Seriously, you're bringing in my favorite Deadric Prince!! But what's more!?!? HE'LL BE TELLING THE TALE!! Oh, I also wish to say I'm impressed with his voice, right out of the Elder Scrolls 5 game, like going home! ...well, if home was always trying to kill me, which it is, so not really much write about is it? All in all, excellent work boys and girls, and I eagerly await my...er, make that HIS accounts of fun times and great CHEESE!!
How in the world were you able to mimic Sheogorath perfectly? *Looks at Annotation* Wholy S***! How in OBLIVION did you get THE Wes Johnson to do this?!
+Spriggan Matron The immortal and unchanging nature of Oblivion and the Daedra make it impossible for him to practice his spheres of revolution, chaos, and change. Thus he is always angry because he cannot fulfill his purpose. The mortal plane of Mundus however, is exactly what he needs.
Whoopu2 is right. He can't practice his spheres, due to needing things to test it on. Mundus has great subjects, and he can't just go to Molag Bal's realm and destroy it, kill Molag Bal, no.
Well, I certainly did not expect that last bit. You forgot to mention the end of the Oblivion Crisis where Martin Septim sacrifices himself to defeat Mehrunes Dagon and that's how the Septim line ended. I really hate Mehrunes Dagon.
Deadric Worshipper The main quest line feels incredibly linear anyway in oblivion. Knowing the ending will not affect your fun with it, since It's fun besides.
Mehrunes Dagon has a touching backstory in obscure lore. He used to be a spirit known as the Leaper Demon King before he was corrupted by Alduin for hiding away bits of creation every time the world is reborn. So now instead of saving creation, the leaper demon king has to destroy, destroy, destroy. A lot of Daedric princes have that kind of tragic backstory.
It's crazy to think that this started as a personal project and wound up having this level of professional quality just for us here on youtube :) We appreciate it! :D
It's supposed to be Jygglag until Sheogorath intervened and turned the narrator into cheese. So expect the voice of Sheo himself to take the reigns which I think the narrator himself wouldn't be able to do his story justice.
Just a question. Have any of you people ever wondered how big of a quarrel all the Gods and Daedric Princes would have once your character dies? Especially since you usually pledge your allegiance to multiple daedras and gods in your game. Like if you're a werewolf, but also dragonborn, worthy of Sovngarde, but also serve the nightmother and Sithis, not forgetting Nocturnal or Azura. I'm pretty sure there's gonna be some divine gambling involved with your soul. With such a big influential mortal, they're all gonna want you.
***** Indeed. I know the lore of Elder Scrolls fairly well both through this series and my own research, but I haven't looked into the earlier games that much so I don't know if the Nerevarine could align himself (or herself for those who prefer her as a woman =D) with multiple deities. I've only played Oblivon and Skyrim myself. But considering Morrowind is probably even bigger than Skyrim (or at least not as easy to explore 100 %) there could be a lot more things you can align with and do in Morrowind. That's why I'd like to play it soon, but not before I have myself a better computer.
I would imagine that being of dragonkin (half-divine, like Umaril the Unfeathered), the Dragonborn would not be subject to any contracts made with the Daedra. In fact, considering he (or she) gains power by consuming the souls of dragons and that the last Dragonborn as powerful became an Aedric God (Talos), it would be more likely that the Dragonborn would continue on after death with his or her own plane in Aetherius. Heck--Martin Septim was just a distant bastard relative of a Dragon-blooded emperor and he became the living avatar of the dragon god of time, Akatosh. The Dragonborn could probably take Akatosh, provided he had enough cheese wheels to eat between hits.
Samuel .Lescelius I would say that the will of Sithis is going to happen regardless, because Sithis is the Void, Entropy, Death, and the end of all things. The Dragonborn doesn't so much make a compact with Sithis as Sithis' will is worked by the Dragonborn regardless of what the Dragonborn does. If the Dragonborn kills with impunity, their souls are sent to Sithis; if he or she abstains from killing, death comes to those souls naturally. But it still comes. And even aberrations in time and lifespan like Alduin eventually are corrected and the universality of death is restored. Even if the Dragonborn kills every last Dark Brotherhood member, the will of Sithis is still being done.
Ironically, Dagon's one of my favorites. I mean, who else aside from maybe Bal invaded Tamriel from Oblivion just to amuse himself. That's almost on parr with Lord Sheogorath. Always nice to see the Hero of Kvatch again. Fantastic work as always, Shoddy.
Mehrunes' Razor's my favorite daedric artifact. It's exactly what helped me win the boss fight against Falx Carius, which got me toe Chaos Damage enchantment.
Who writes the dialogue for Sheogorath in these? Its absolutely amazing, the dialogue sounds perfect and it sounds like stuff that sheogorath would actually say. Seriously, whoever writes these should consider a job in screenplay. I'm not kidding.
***** They're not the same, Jyggalag was originally a normal Daedra Prince, but because of his ways of order, the other princes feared him and banded together to trap him into a new persona. That persona was Sheogorath. The current Sheogorath is now separate from Jyggalag thanks to the hero of Kvatch (the current Sheogorath is also most likely the hero of Kvatch)
***** not true because if you recall in the shivering isles that when you defeat jyggalag you become sheogorath and are recognized as so and as daedric princess can not die jyggalag is still alive there for they are not one instead the hero of kavatch and sheogorath are one
Matticuss StormBlade Yes... that is a possibility. And like many possibilities within the TES games only one version of the events can be canon. This isn't one of them.
I like to think it's a subtle thing, barely a hint. but the moment the story-teller told Sheogorath of the time he tricked Vaermina he stops producing those little Zzz's and awoke is because he'd otherwise descend into a nightmare. now im not certain what kind of nightmares a mad-god could even have or experience...but it's a neat thing to pick up on during the video.
No. I believe that was a night before a big test and I, being a responsible college student, announced to the whole house that (for once) I wouldn't stay up and blow it. Instead I geeked out over fictional video game lore.
MrOlterman It's called having no life and finding joy in fictional universes. Plenty of people do it...right? It's why I write stuff. Reality is boring by comparison. Well, not reality. Maybe just my reality. I mean, there was this thing called the Emu wars. I can't really say reality is completely boring when something like that took place. XD
This is the kinda stuff that always makes me love the game. I feel like to many people play it just for the loot and to level up. the Elder Scrolls is a work of art and should be treated as one.
Cheese for Everyone!!! all in the name of Sheogorath! i hope he doesn't mind. wait... he NEVER minds! HA! P.S. How'd they get Wes Johnson, the voice of our lord and the best voice actor ever, to, well... voice Sheogorath?
Omg you actually got THE Wes Johnson to talk in this vid! Best voice ever in any game I ever played! the next episode is going to take still a while but I can hardly wait! There can never be another Sheogorath, its ether Wes Johnson, or nobody!

It's about cheesing time that we got down to Sheogorath, the greatest of all Daedric Princes! Also I get now why you guys kept putting it off, great job on getting Wes Johnson along for the ride!
Finale is often used for seasons, and not an entire series. Unfortunately, we were not given specifics as to whether or not it means it's the final lore episode, or simply the last in this "season," as it were.
Indeed. This is going to be a fantastic episode, in any case. Sheogorath, and maybe Haskill- I can't wait for all of the references to Shivering Isles.
DreamDragoness25 Nope you're wrong, if you read their patreon page they say if they get to $5000 they will create season 3 but they are currently only at $2000.
Maybe, You know I was going to play your games on your Xbox. lol Especially when you deleted my saves. Don't worry I have been saving on my flashdrive.
+BounceZoneHQ im guessing either he was dragon born (with limited power as there were no dragons around to absorb souls from) or through the power of the mysterium xarxes allowed him to wear it somehow
Wow! Just wow! What an ending! That was very well done, lads. I can't believe you got the man himself to narrate! This is gonna be gr8. My favourite Prince taking the reins! :D
Wasn't the queen the first (Akatosh blessed at least) Dragonborn? And wasn't it not just her descendants, but rather ones that contain the blood of the Dov in general that could wear the amulet? I could be wrong, but that's what I remember reading. And is that the first Sheo or our Sheo? I assume from the setting of these stories (post Skyrim) it's our canon Imperial Champion, who, I just realized, developed a Scottish accent like the first Sheo for some reason... Does that just come with the gig?
Wrong wrong wrong wrong. Dagon does not *invade* Nirn, he is already there, imprisoned deep within the world itself. That is why he destroys, not out of blind rage or petty jealousy, but for freedom. When you feel the earth shake and tremble and when you hear the thunder in the sky and when you see fire erupting from the mountains, you see Mehrunes Dagon, a desperate prisoner rattling the bars of his cage.
CRYPTO WOLF Why? I mean, while Dagon is definitely one of the worst, he did sort of copy Molag Bal with the whole Oblivion Crisis thing, right? Or at least that's a way you can look at it. I wonder if there's a sort of competition between them....
Fariko Wishless But isn't it Mehrunes Dagon that's the Daedric Lord of rape? I mean, I know Molag bal does that too, but it isn't actually him who's the celebrated rapist, right?
Hahahahaa, a whole episode of Sheogorath! Wonderful! Although having him interrupt talk of the Prince of Order was so appropriate... anyone whose completed Shivering Isles will know why.
It was a blast working with Josh and ShoddyCast - I appreciate the amazing quality they've been achieving with their lore videos, and I'm grateful for their charitable endeavors for Alzhiemers research. I would kill for your voice, man i love it :D
I was waiting for a shegorath lore and hopefully it will be our true deadric lord to spin us a tale of how he came to be!
Thumbs up if you immediately tried to attack Dagon when he appeared at the end of Oblivion.
Love the profile pic! :P
William Edward I didn't just attacked him, I killed him with the power of the Wabbajack!
Daniel Chico
That works? I tried that, and it did nothing.
William Edward It works, you just have to fire it more than once. One of the effects "kills" Dagon, turning him into a glitchy, melted mess.
FallingStar7777
What happened to Martin when you did that?
How in the world were you able to mimic Sheogorath perfectly?
*Looks at Annotation*
Wholy S***! How in OBLIVION did you get THE Wes Johnson to do this?!
It is said If you’re crazy enough. You will hear the mad gods voice in your head. Perhaps that’s what happened here
Holy fucking shit this guys voice is so captivating.
Isn't it? I couldn't help but be drawn in.
It's almost intoxicating.
Sabastian Umfleet "Fake voice" what?
HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET HIM?!?!
I've just asked the same question!
Must have shelled out a ton of cheddar.
TheCollarFamily Maybe Sheogorath is a mozzarella kind of Daedra?
They get 2 grand a month
That's a whole lot of cheese.
Mehrunes Dagon is simply like a four year old with a perpetual temper tantrum.
+Spriggan Matron its disturbing just how true this is
+kayo porro i remember this first part from oblivion
+Spriggan Matron so true
+Spriggan Matron The immortal and unchanging nature of Oblivion and the Daedra make it impossible for him to practice his spheres of revolution, chaos, and change. Thus he is always angry because he cannot fulfill his purpose.

Wow now I can't beat the game now
Deadric Worshipper The main quest line feels incredibly linear anyway in oblivion. Knowing the ending will not affect your fun with it, since It's fun besides.
Deadric Worshipper The game came out about 7 years ago, so you should expect spoilers on elder scrolls lore video.

BRILLJIANT ending!

Huzzah! The lord of madness has blessed us with his presence! Mince some waffles and milk some cheeses in his name!
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose!
This isn't an XCOM video.
Wauw, just wauw. The ending made me all giddy and happy for that epic lord to arrive, no one deserves the title of Daedriv Lord more than him :D
So...we won't get to see any lore about Jyggalag?
We probably will, but Sheogorath will most likely make fun of him

Almost a decade later, and this is still one of the coolest TES videos I’ve ever watched.
THAT WAS THE BEST ENDING EVER! I'm not supposed to be watching UA-cam, come on! Way to make me blow my cover! XD

Holy jeebus, how the hell did you get in contact with the voice actor of Sheogorath?!
The very game that took me from my everyday life and captured me for Days in it's utmost vast and lore filled storys and worlds.
they actually got the sheogorath voice actor...
I LOVE THESE PEOPLE
This is the kinda stuff that always makes me love the game. I feel like to many people play it just for the loot and to level up. the Elder Scrolls is a work of art and should be treated as one.
That ending holy shit i cracked up.
I was slowly drifting in to slumber by his soothing voice... and then all of a sudden: 10:00
YEEEEESSSSSS!!!! SHEOGORATH!!!! YEEEESSSSSSS!!!! I would gladly lend you my ears, my eyes AND my liver, my Lord!
PS: not really
Then you are not worth the glory of our Lord Sheogorath.
MrBiodtox Sorry, how can't I be worth of the glory... of myself?
You don't want to sacrafice yourself to yourself. *duh*
MrBiodtox Don't tell that to the christians.
MrBiodtox Maybe you haven't played "The Shivering Isles"... that would explain...
Or maybe I don't get sarcasm... help...
The end to this was fantastic! All of it was, really. Great work!!
THAT ENDING IS SO EPPPPIIIICCCCCC!!!!!! You guys are the best!
That was pretty damn awesome ShoddyCast, well done! Can't wait to see the last episode!
So thats what happened to the previous story teller. A poisoned sweetroll. Genius!
Amazing episode ending, can't wait till the next one. ShoddyCast you guys have true skill.

P.S. How'd they get Wes Johnson, the voice of our lord and the best voice actor ever, to, well... voice Sheogorath?
Patreon probably.
You guys make the Elder scrolls awesome. This stuff is hilarious and informative all at once.
Sheogorath, I love you! My lord!
DreamDragoness25 Rejoice in madness!

Did you guys actually get the real Wes Johnson to play Sheogorath once again?
Marvelous, time for a celebration CHEESE FOR EVERYONE!!!
Also I never knew the narrator was Haskill all along!
Nope, that wasn't Haskill. It's just another nameless storyteller. If that were Haskill, he'd sound as if he never gives a fuck about anything.
*****
Haskill would still be a better narrator than the current one. God, he is so dull and boring.
Matt Allen And that's exactly what Haskill is, dull and boring, it's not his fault though, it's in his very personality!
My friday is set now. Weekend is here and a Elder Scrolls Lore vid is up AND Wes Johnson!?
Truly the gods are pleased with all
Who would you prefer to face? Mehrunes Dagon or Molag Bal?
Mehrunes Dagon
+Sargent Salmon why?
Allan Vdsouza he seems stronger
I don't want to get raped so I'm going with Dagon. Just getting brutally murdered is good enough for me, thanks.
Allan Vdsouza Molag Bal. I want to prove him wrong.
I'm still amazed at how you got Wes Johnson over in your episode...can't wait for the next episode XD
Holy shit, if they actually get Wes Johnson to do the lore series I would be happy as shit!
Yes they will.
perfect! cheese for everyone!!!!
It's about cheesing time that we got down to Sheogorath, the greatest of all Daedric Princes!
Also I get now why you guys kept putting it off, great job on getting Wes Johnson along for the ride!

Last Daedric episode, I believe.

I love what did with the eyes... Simply captivating!
You guys should do Dishonored. There is a ton of lore in that game.
... Are you in my room

Holy shit when Wes Johnson in the flesh appeared my jaw dropped
Awesome ending
whats skyrim like i want to get it?
I find lore very interesting, you guys do an excellent job of showing it, thank you.
LOL. Sheogorath steals the show :)
Watching these allways makes me want to go back and play it again but I cant I've moved on from that time in my life now.
I never understood how Mankar Cameron could wear the Amulet of Kings around his neck? I thought only descendants of Alessia could wear it?
+TheBounceMaster Mankar rewrote himself. Altered reality so that he would be dragonborn. That's all you need to wear the amulet.
+petargrad Speaking fire can mean more than just being Dragonborn, FWIW.
+petargrad You forget, young padawan, that Jagar Tharn also wore the Amulet.
+BounceZoneHQ im guessing either he was dragon born (with limited power as there were no dragons around to absorb souls from) or through the power of the mysterium xarxes allowed him to wear it somehow
Or those possessing the Dragon Blood (a descendant).
wow this has got to be the most underrated channel on UA-cam
YESSSSSS I AM CRYING!
Beautifully done guys. ESPECIALLY Mr. Wes Johnson. My favorite voice actor of the elderscrolls series.
do a vid abut spoderman. deh dedric prins uf sweg
What in oblivion is this crap
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA IM FUCKING DYING!!!!!!!! MADE MY DAY!
Is yur deadric artifact de bong of sweg?
His artifact is the 'yolo snepbek of sweg' which allows the wielder to get free mcdolans whenever he desires.
Excuse me
I gotta say, these are really great. TES is really all about the lore. Well done.
Next episode is about Sheogorath? My body is ready. Tie me to bed, I want to feel it. (The CHEESE)
I have never been so excited for a shoddycast! Edge of my seat here.
Sheogorath is the best Deadric Lord by far.
I'm doing the fishstick! It's a delightful state of mind!
Wait, I thought Nords didn’t worship the Daedric Princes
Fun fact: Sheogorath is currently the most powerful Daedric Prince of all
Wow! Just wow! What an ending! That was very well done, lads. I can't believe you got the man himself to narrate! This is gonna be gr8. My favourite Prince taking the reins! :D
WAIT WAIT WAIT!. is the next episode the final Elder scroll lore episode for good???
I hope not. There is still more they could do.
i think there running out of daidric princes, and want to move the series onwards
They do say at the end ''The final episode of TES lore''
I hope there will be an episode about Lorkhan someday. After all, some believe he was just another daedric prince, and Nirn was his plane.
kasper andersen oh ..
Sheogorath is by far my most favorite daedric lord in the history of the elder scrolls.
BEST ENDING EVER!!!!!!
I'm convinced Wes Johnson improvised some of that dialogue, or helped with writing it! That bit about drowning in kittens is too golden!
Yeah mantling a Daedric lord means becoming that daedric lord. Everything comes with it.
Nope mirak was the 1st dragonborn
That's definitely an Irish Accent, do you even accent?
What about Wulfharth?
Ryan Apperson
Wulfarth was a Shezzarine, and was bought back to life multiple times by Lorkhan. He can be whatever he wants.
I expected an amateur explanation of ES lore, but this was really great and well done. Good job.
Get ready for... CHEESE!
You guys have out done yourselves with this one ! Can't wait to see what's next !
has anyone ever wondered why Mankar Camaron could wear the amulet
yeah i also wonder that, cause it says only dragonblood could whear it so he should not be able to
he was in his own realm. His realm his laws
Maybe he was Dragonborn too?
i doubt that but who knows
In Skyrim it's implied he was Dragonborn.
This just reminded me of how utterly AWESOME the Oblivion storyline and its DLC's were.
Your voice is godlike
oh snap i waited for this episode and got beyond my expectations! thanks WES and Shoddy Cast WOO!
I can't tell if you think that's true or not?
Are you sure you're not confusing Dagon with Lorkhan?
Curt Clark Lorkhan is Dagon. Tamriel is Daedroth.
Lorkhan is dead.
Ben Kielar False. Get that Mankar Camoran bs out of here.
I LOVE ShoddyCast's creations, my god.
best ending ever :D
One has to wonder why the other Daedra never took advantage of the Oblivion Crisis
cheese for everyone!!!
WAIT! scratch that! Cheese for no one!
That can be just as much of a celebration if you don't like cheese.
Enterprise0709 It could be much of a celebration if you don't like cheese too.
Sheogorath scared the Hell out of me barging in like that.
Well played.
Okay... so who's worse? Molag Bal or Mehrunes Dagon???
+DecoraFulica both
Dagon
CRYPTO WOLF Why? I mean, while Dagon is definitely one of the worst, he did sort of copy Molag Bal with the whole Oblivion Crisis thing, right? Or at least that's a way you can look at it. I wonder if there's a sort of competition between them....
+DecoraFulica Molag Bal is worse because he raped Serena. Wish I could kill him, settled for killing her dumbadd father.
Fariko Wishless But isn't it Mehrunes Dagon that's the Daedric Lord of rape? I mean, I know Molag bal does that too, but it isn't actually him who's the celebrated rapist, right?
Wow, Wes Johnson huh? Congrats on that one, this should be a good episode.
Based Sheogorath
Hahahahaa, a whole episode of Sheogorath! Wonderful! Although having him interrupt talk of the Prince of Order was so appropriate... anyone whose completed Shivering Isles will know why.
OMG you have no idea how long ive been wanting the next video. I HOPE ITS NEXT WEEK
That's so awesome of Wes to contribute! He just upped his fan base by about another 250k xD
