In this weeks video dad is off for the first two days, so I filmed a lovely double gate install on Monday for the Wednesday video, which hopefully you have watched?! & then on the Tuesday I was on the grab doing a load of grab work whilst the other lads went and did the fencing jobs, which felt a little strange for me because I love to be there with them doing the fence jobs, lol. & then we got rejected, we bloody got rejected. We couldn't believe it when it happened... Definitely watch to see what happened!

I had to have our 16 year old Staffie put down last year. I still miss him so much - one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Still a bit raw at the moment but would love another dog at some stage in the near future. Rest easy my best mate, you were a wonderful friend and companion.

Sorry to hear about Tia, I lost my dog Luke to cancer just a couple of months ago and just as you said, it isn't goodbye, it is just until we see you again. Rest easy sweet Tia!
RIP Tia, we have rescued several dogs in our time and recently lost 2 that we have given amazing lives here in France with us, one just about a month ago and as you say, they are family so still so raw. We still have our Weimie, Senna, but he is 13 now which is amazing for his breed. So sorry guys.
I have been meaning to comment for ages to thank you all HUGELY as you have seen me through Chemo and I can guarantee, I will never stop watching. I LOVE your success and want to be part of it moving forward, even in a tiny way.

So sorry for your loss of Tia. So sad when you lose a dog, its the reason i did not get a dog for 9 years after my Luna passed. The pain we suffered after she went was so bad I could not face it again. 5 years ago we got Bella, dreading the day!!

What an emotional roller coaster. You had me in stitches with the ineundos had me jumping for cover with the world war 2 siren as have ptsd and had me in tears with the passing of Tia. As an owner of 5 dogs and after losing one to a road traffic accident i feel your pain. Hopefully she is in a better place now chasing other dogs under the rainbow. You didn’t have to share that very private moment but you did. Keep an eye on Hugo as i’m sure that he will be missing tia just as much as you. So sorry for the loss of Tia ,it rips your heart out when this happens ,my own dog was diagnosed with kidney failure this week so he won’t be with us for too much longer . Tias paw prints will be in all your hearts forever x

When I lost my dog, I was talking to a friend later in the evening and I - without realising - described our beloved dog as a 'lovely person'. Dogs are part of the family, they are sorely missed when they pass on. But you know your Tia ad the best life you could give. I am now teared up.
**REF Weight** you need to weigh the lorry at a weight bridge with an empty load, full tank of diesel and 2 of you in the lorry. Then take what you weighed less your ‘gross weight’ and that will leave you with your ‘payload weight’. Keep up the hard work 👍🏻 RIP Tia ❤️
So so sorry to hear about Tia. I had a dog when I was a little boy and had to say goodbye to her when I was in my teens. I am now in my seventies and have never had another dog because I could never again face that pain of losing them. I know just how you feel. God bless Tia.

So sorry to hear about tia I’ve been there myself and lost my border collie at 13yrs old in 2018. They aren’t just a pet they’re part of the family. You’ve done the right thing letting her go without suffering ❤️

I am so sorry to hear about Tia. We lost our Sam 2 years ago he was a miniature poodle whose life expendancy was 10 years but we got to have him part of our family for 15 years. We miss him everyday so our hearts go out to you all.xx
Dogs are always part of your family so its always hard when they go to doggy heaven, just remember you gave her a great life and lots of loving thats more than some dogs have sadly.😃🐕
Dave is there anywhere close to the site to transfer 8 tonnes from mighty white to big red? Then you return to get 8 tonnes more. Saves buying an automatic sheet, just a thought great video as per usual. 👍👍

So sorry about Tia, I have 2 dogs and have lost family dogs before so totally get it, they're not just pets they are family ❤❤

So very sorry for your loss, I just lost my Labrador on Friday she was nearly thirteen and I am absolutely broken. The pain is very real my friend they give you 100% love ,loyalty and friendship and they are such a massive part of your family and life.. They give you so much and ask for so little in return. She’s at peace now and you will meet up with her again. Respect from Scotland.

To save a total waisted journey to the quarry, could you have parked up back to back outside the quarry and craned from Mighty White to Big Red and then gone back in with Mighty White for a refill?
Hi Guys, I've only just recently come across your channel but I love it, I'm not a builder or anything like that but I just love watching your work as you are so good! Love your work ethic as well. I've also just cried my eyes out at your loss, I know it's a while ago now, not sure if you've got another dog or not, but I've been through the same thing a number of times and it never gets easier but it's amazing the amount of love you get and can give to a dog, they definitely are a member of your family. Thanks for the vids and keep them coming. I was watching one yesterday and you said you just over 4k subscribers and now look at your numbers!! Wow!! ..... not too shabby eh?
Watching the Tia tribute I had a lump in my throat. As a regular viewer watching those emotions as an owner of pets was hard. RIP Tia, you guys gave her the best life she could have asked for. A loving caring home. She’s on the other side of the rainbow bridge smiling.
I really feel for you about the loss of Tia and I could see the emotion in you Dave as it really is like losing one of the family. When you have them from such an early age and the bonding you make with them and they aren't just a pet but one of the family and a best friend too. They are usually the last thing you see before you got to sleep and the first you see in the morning. They are there through the good times and the bad and the first one to greet you when you get home fro work. The unconditional love they give is second to none and the memories priceless. You really did do the right thing though and at least she isn't suffering anymore. Condolences to all the D&J family, time is a healer but you never forget.
Hardest part of sharing your life with a dog is having to make the decision to let them go. I don’t think anything comes close to the pain of losing a dog. Loved seeing Tia and of course Hugo in your videos. ❤️❤️ 🌈

As with everybody else I'm so so sorry to hear about Tia. Anybody with a pet knows that they are not just a pet they are a member of the family. As always loved the vlog.
I am crushed by the news of Tia and know how difficult this is. I know I am half way around the world but please message if there is anything I can do for you? As I have posted before, I lost my 14 year old German Shepherd back on July 2nd and your videos really helped me after. I also want people to know just how difficult it is making the "decision" to let them go. It is one of the most life shattering feelings beyond the loss itself I personally have ever had. Just know that you gave Tia the best life ever!
I always appreciate your videos and all the work you put in. On Wednesdays video I though the silver ring was one of those hitching rings you see at boat docks for the ropes. I would have loved to see a black pull handle of sorts on the gate but no matter what it looked great.
This week was great work by Ant (sorry for the spelling) and Jordon on all the fencing! You and your dad were great doing all the grab work! Seemed like you were all working like a finely oiled machine.

I completely understand the feelings of losing a family loved pet. We have had to put down two family dogs this last year. One because of cancer. It is indeed like losing a member of the family. They are indeed our fur babies. I am so sorry for your loss.

I had to do the same thing for my Jack Russell when he was having health issues because of his age. I still think about him now, over 20 years later. They may be gone but will never be forgotten.

Just finished watching Sundays video, so sorry to hear about Tia 😢 but you've made the right decision for her. It's a very hard decision to make when you have a pet that's got serious health problems so I really feel your pain as we had a staffy called max and had to have him put to sleep as he had cancer 😭😭 we stroked him and cuddled him while the vet did the injection. We then had him cremated at forget me nott which is in Trowell, max is now in a lovely box which has a model of a staffy which we had painted exactly how he looked. It's a lovely tribute to a great pet, I hope you all feel better soon but it will take time because you'll always see reminders everywhere. Nothing wrong with crying over your pet as well, it's good to see as it shows other men that it's OK to show your emotions 😪 excellent video as normal D&J projects. Fly high Tia ❤️❤️

And the stone quarry ? a pain in the bum but we’ll it is what it is H&S gone mad but it’s there rules. personally i’d of let you sheet it once. and after that well you’d of known with fuel prices being high and drivers time & money. you’d think they would give you a fact sheet or an email saying this is how we operate this is. what we expect when you visit us
But it is what it is but mighty white took the strain.
So if Chelsea and Anthony both have class 1. we’ll that will be the amazing british army training. being of that stable my self there training is second to non.
