WE STRUGGLED WITH THIS FENCE TRANSFORMATION...

- So then guys, we definitely struggled with this fence transformation! It was probably one of the hardest ones we have had to do this year, and it was mainly from it being too hot! Lol. My dad also struggled at the yard, or bumped into a struggler, yeah, I think that's right! Mr struggler himself!
You didn't know it, but this was the UA-cam collaboration that you needed 😉

Fence looks so much better. It transforms the whole yard.
I think that with such a heavy post the holes you dig do not allow enough post mix to properly fix the post in i seen you use by the looks of it one bag for some i would use two bags at least for a wooden 8ft 4x4 and for a concrete post which much weigh double the weight of a wooden post 2 1/2 bags to take no chances
Chris is a ducking head case lol, also a big shout out to Chris and his fluffy tripod 😂
Fair play to the struggler, seems to have the same work ethic as Dave puts his hands to anything… & finds solutions not problems
I've subscribed to "Professional Struggler" Yes colorful language but brill. I'm always enjoying watching D&J working hard with professionalism, nice to see the Lads and Lasses doing their best.
Hello chaps, so glad the client changed the rest of those fence panels, it looks fabulous. Well done. Best wishes Christine x
Saw the struggler pop up on my suggested videos before I got saw your video. Good to see the different views and now subscribed. I did my offshore survival refresher recently including first aid. It has been dumbed down so much to the point of the only practical covered was 30 compressions and "don't do breaths if you aren't comfortable" The rest was basically call for the medic or ambulance. Most our stuff is covered by online coursed (not relevant to our job) but I'm sure the company providing them makes a huge profit! HSE has gone mad!
Yeah, it was the right idea to finish off the large fencing job with new panels on the other side (8 of). Absolutely brilliant job x
Nice job with the fencing. Great to see the Struggler make an appearance at D&J!
Really enjoyed this one.
Always good to undergo a First Aid Course. Knowledge is paramount. Hope the Team all enjoyed the course? X
Bang tidy fencing job guys - glad teh customer went the full mile - made a huge difference.
I've been watching you since the early days and something struck me today after all this time - no idea why. It was when you said at 11:30 about looking for 94" and out comes the tape again.
Just like you never measure the 6ft to the next post hole because you use the old level, why can't you have a scaffold pole or something where your target heights are painted at 94", 82" etc then all you need to do is stand the pole in the hole next to the post and Bob's your Uncle !
From Chicago - great video as always. Enjoyed that backyard fence transformation. And, I'm so looking forward to when you show how you make the post and gravel boards. I was watching your video and doing the dishes and had to stop everything when I thought you were about to explain the process for the post and gravel boards. But, you were just showing a little about cleaning the molds. But -again, you said the concrete process would be coming. So, I excitedly waiting on that. I want to build a fence for my backyard but I haven't figured out how to make those posts. I'll be watching. Thanks for the great spirit in your videos and all the knowledge you pass on. See you on the next video.
Hi to all at the d&j family, its nice to hear you stevie saying as soon as the video is live your reading the comments🙂hard work at the start of that fence job with the rip out but after that was all good, that's a massive garden but wouldn't want the up keep of it🙈nice easy process at the quarry there dave and loving the sped up part on the drive😆nice to see Chelsea out helping you guys, will she at some point learn to drive big red and mighty white at all?oooo get you dave and bernie going to a fashion show oo la lah😊,I'll go over after this and subscribe to the struggler👍new lad Mason been there 4 months🤣🤣gotta love bubble wrap dave, nice of the subscriber for the mugs, definitely better the customer replacing those other panels to now match the new amazing fence, thankyou to you all for making these videos and the effort you go to and time etc, cheers guys👍
Thank you for all your videos. I don’t comment on most videos, but I wanted to let you know that you have brought a bit of joy to a couple of rough weeks. I lost my Mom this month to cancer, and you have helped distract me, at least for an hour or two. All the best.
I agree, working outside in hot weather is not nice. Plenty of water and go in the shade when you can. Great job on the fence. Glad the training is going well.
As a forklift engineer back in the late 70's used unc and unf nuts and bolts frequently.
Over 1 hour long, then you know it's gonna be a good one🤩
So glad you told us the footage of Dave driving in the quarry was sped up thought he was doing some rally driving 😂, the fencing job turned out great as usual 👍🏻
Chris seems a great bloke. Good person to have on hand for D&J. Reliable.

I normally watch your Sunday videos in the afternoon. However, this week, because I have been so busy myself, it had to wait until 3.00 a.m. Monday morning! Well worth sacrificing a bit of sleep for! I think that is my new favourite D&J fence job❤️

You've been given permission by the customer to lose land for them!!.......................what a lashup!! Boundaries are always presumed to be straight.

Top lad is Chris just like yourselves dave does a proper job 👏
I was brought up on a building site where my dad and uncle built at least 20 houses in the estate that was created. the house I lived in was a castle to me at the time. Its called (Yannon towers) in teignmouth Devon. The crazy stuff i use to do when i was a child growing up was crazy 3-5 years old Accompanied by a adult I was driving excavators and dump trucks was absolutely amazing atmosphere to be brought up in. The fun I had with bubble wrap well there was no health and safety back then and there was a wall rising from 2ft solid concrete to 20ft. At the age of 5 I was jumping off the wall on to boxes and bubble wrap!! Maximum height I went to was 9-10ft I don’t know how I did it then or maybe it was that that’s caused me the fear of hight’s or the lack of brain cells these days haha. but that was the crazy funnest time I had with bubble wrap now I just see it as a hindrance as it fills the bin up so much and I just can’t be assed to pop it to make more space haha. Another amazing fencing job you done! Stay safe lads
Let me start by saying how much your videos brighten my day with all the crappy news in the world. Thank you for making my weeks so much better~! Great job and such quality work. Really wish they had this type of quality fencing here in Colorado. Keep up the great work!
Be careful with that new watch Dave don’t be breaking it 🤪 and totally agree over the first aid course great to have and know about and perfect for anyone not just tradies

Bumped it to professional strugglers video as I watch yours so saw his 1st even though he’s not for me was good to see both sides of the day from different perspectives
Im so glad that the customer chose to replace all the other fence panels looks 100% Better. Another cracking week@ D+J
You ever thought about getting a heavy duty hand wheel truck so you can load the gravel boards on and wheel to the location. Would save you walking back and forth to get one gravel board at a time.
It was roasting Thursday at work slabbing Stevie, 30-33 degrees and like there full sun trap.
Great job once again from D&J Enjoyed watching yet again.
Great videos ,guys... like the music too, when they were filling the slate bags I kept thinking they are singing staropramen 🍺 🍺 and it’s making me thirsty
Can't wait to see new grab all d n j projects up
Great vid lads, a real mixture going on. Keep them coming TEAM D&J
Cracking job on the fencing as always guys well done 100% better looking
