What are your thoughts about RFK jr? Who is the grey champion?
I did an episode about this two years ago. I didn't anticipate RFK Jr. mounting a serious candidacy; however far he goes, he has to be taken seriously. I don't think getting in the weeds of whether he is or is not the "Gray Champion" is a compelling conversation. But, he fits the first two prerequisites: he's the right archetype, and he speaks about politics in a tone of moral urgency that's certainly a hallmark of familiar Boomer politicians.
Looking at the reaction of those people, who at those ages would have been GI and Silent Gen. that's looks like the kind of reaction you would get from millennials and gen Z in a similar position. I could sense their fear of "My world is falling apart" a world the GIs and Lost had built. You've got an element of "FOMO" and to make it worse and element of the IKEA effect (GIs done the hard work laying concrete and bayoneting the fash). Note, the mentioning of the far-right, that right there is the fear or returning to the post climax 4th turning. the communists vs fascists culture war
Yeah but they're at different life phases. This event would be in the 2040s for millennial and Gen Z to be the same ages as the GIs and Silent in this video
@@gustavel6333 I totally forgot to mention explicitly that its a different phase of life for the two civic archetypes and assumed that people would know using the more vague "in s similar position". millennial

The equivalent date this time around would be probably 2040s - when Millennials will be in their 50s/early 60s and Gen X will be in their 70s/80s, Zoomers in their 30s/40, Alpha still in school. Is the analysis to compare how the archetypes of that time reacted to how we might react to a similarly scary event?
