- The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has won the second biggest share of the EU vote in Germany, while the conservative Union parties have retained the biggest vote share.
The AfD performed strongest in east Germany, with the party coming first in the region according to preliminary results.
That's despite several scandals ingulfing the party ahead of the vote, including its lead candidate Maximilan Krah saying that the Schutzstaffel, or SS, the Nazis' main paramilitary force, were "not all criminals".
Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s Social Democrats are heading for their worst ever national election result, with coalition partners the Greens and the Liberals also taking a beating.
The results paint a grim picture for the government ahead of three state elections in eastern Germany this year, and a general election in 2025.

I think a good solution would've been neighbors agreeing to not become part of anti Russian alliances, and Russia agreeing not to interfere in neighbors' internal matters.

Anti Immigration and anti war how can you beat that platform?
When anti-war is an "extremist" position, that's how you know the center are the real extremists. Infinite indiscriminate illegal immigration just makes the point so much clearer.
With the anti war point, it really depends. There is such a thing as a just war. World war 2 for example.
If you’re anti war to the point of isolationism or pacifism, that’s dumb. With the former, it just means that your country is unreliable when a conflict occurs and with the latter, that’s just code for being pro fascism. Pro fascism in the sense that you’d allow it to flourish because “you’re against fighting and you don’t want to be like them”. You’d see the enemy running towards your village and you’d do nothing about it because you’re “anti war”.
With anti immigration, there’s a difference between being anti all immigration, which is silly as there’s nothing inherently wrong with immigration, and being anti illegal immigration and wanting strong borders, which is common sense.
So you can call yourself anti war and anti immigration but that doesn’t make you a good party or one worth listening to. In fact, it can mean the exact opposite. Being against all immigration and wanting to isolate yourself from the world and being against fighting wars completely isn’t a good thing.
Don't forget diplomacy as well, a good word

A court has ruled that the overall party is „gesichert Rechts-extrem“ which translates to far right or extremely far right. That ruling was based off of facts in regards to some of the parties representatives. The AfD chose to not condemn nor kick out their representatives which ended up in the overall far right ruling of the court.

@@santaclaus0815 Maybe but it’s the fault of the established left wing dying on that hill if the populist right wing got votes because of immigration.
Look at Denmark, in Denmark the surge of the far right happened 20 years ago but the established left wing managed to stop it simply by acknowledging that distrust of immigration was the reason why people were flocking towards the far right and adopting anti immigration policies themselves.
If the left wing in the rest of Europe is not wise enough to follow Denmark then it’s responsible for this.
As a Brazilian who owns proudly the German citizenship, I totally support AFf, because I see what progressiviness and socialism are doing Brazil. Economic decay, loss of freedoms, moral degradation, corruption, and so on.
