v i v i thank you so much!!! I almost gave my Bobbi Brown highlighter away because I didn’t think it suited me until I wore it out in public and all I got were compliments 😭 when it’s not in direct light it looks like a light sheen of blush on my cheeks and I look very flushed.

I'm hurting for you guys -normally I don't understand people getting upset (and I'm not actually upset) but this highlighter is so special how it's pressed, I feel bad you guys destroyed yours! So pretty. Thanks for sacrificing your products for us!

I'd love to see how many "recommended size" amounts of primer they can get out of that!! CUz i think they say "only use a pea size" I think?
Maggie k they actually say to use a grain of rice size amount... though almost everyone I see using it, uses way too much 😂. But also, everyone has different size faces.
Omg yeah everyone uses it like foundation 😂 not sure if it's because they plan to cake on foundation so they want the primer to be thick or something else
maario210 out of all the hyped up Tatcha products, the silk canvas primer has really caught my eye.. it's getting damn good reviews, too. Always nice to see if it is worth it before focusing on rationalizing that purchase!
I'd love to see them destroy it, too. I've used it and it's nice. But nothing about it justifies the price point, in my honest opinion. Nothing about it beats my Smashbox/Benefit primers at all. But everyone has different skin, so who knows? I quite disliked the application/packaging. I prefer a primer that isn't in a compact, just for logistic purposes.

I have noticed you enjoy destroying products you love. You can tell if it is a good product by seeing how well it breaks apart.
Thank you for doing the reverse at the end. I can now pretend it's ok again. 😂 Like Hailey said, this is the only product you guys have destroyed that I winced over. Thanks for making this sacrifice, it is appreciated.

Aahhh, I was so proud I resisted this and now I'm disappointed in myself - they're fucking stunning and as a rose lover, that packaging! If the Sephora 'exclusive' shade had carried the outer packaging on, I'd have folded.

Yeah I think the sephora exclusive one really lacks in the packaging department, it could have been so much better! It is a beautiful highlighter though :)

Shiki Yuu I'm holding strong!! If that exclusive shade had the packaging, I'd have caved because it is such a gorgeous shifty shade; the gilded rose was in and out of my cart a half a dozen times.. I just have similar shades, it's entirely the rose detail that's making it so tempting. I'm a sucker for rose themed products [like the Milani and Flower Beauty blushes] and have learnt to curb that appeal since it's so overdone - this collection is one of the best I've seen in a long time, though.

I'm OBSESSED with these beauties and I adore Vlada! It reminds me of a homemade fudge brownie - the kind with very little flour. I need another highlighter like I need a hole in the head, but if I see this in person, I'm pretty sure I'll have to get it. The packaging is stunning, too. Great JOB! 👍😁❤

So I’ve thought of this for a while. You destroyed a magnetic eyeshadow a while ago and there are now magnetic eyelashes. Would those react to each other at all? Maybe you could test it?

I think when the pan was ”empty” its still usable because your using a brush and it gets in there🤷♀️✌🏾
maybe. but i think if they had tried scraping it any more they would've picked up the glue from the pan as well which wouldn't be nice to repress lol
We don’t want to risk lifting the mesh otherwise the product will break easily when it is repressed

I wasnt talking about taking it about but just using it in the pan thats what i meant you can use that with a brush cause the brush gets in there i never talked about how they were supposed to scratch everything out of there👀
Edit: I just realized this is 4 mo ago... I' sure ya don't care anymore 🤷♀️ Bich- I totally understood what you meant the first time. If you were using the product (not destroying the product), and hit the mesh all of the product under the mesh is usable because you would be using a brush to get all of the extra underneath the mesh.

Also I wanted to ask - have you ever experienced an issue when after repressing the product it cracks? 🧐 I was repressing a bronzer and it repressed beautifully but a day after I found it cracked 😔 I tried to repress again but the same issue happened. Maybe the formula is too dry? I don't know how to make it work. I've used a rubbing alcohol.

While I was watching your Mecca haul, I thought of an idea for another video. The hourglass pressed powders surely have a great formula, and the marbling is pretty, but I wonder how much variation there is between products of a similar shade. I would love to see you get a few of the same shade and smash them up and repress them. I have a mini and a full size of one shade and they look very different on the skin as is, but I am wondering if they would end up matching if I smashed them...
Love the colour. Maybe you guys could play with diy repressing tools to try to get designs into it as you press. It's gotta be doable right? I'd love to see you give it a go anyway.

This is a product I bought strictly for the packaging and to support the collab with a wonderful artist. Neither color works as a highlighter for my lighter skin but I wanted it so I got it. And couldn’t be more thrilled at its beauty tho for me (color aside) it didn’t perform well on my skin and wasn’t as I expected Yet I am happy to have it for the aforementioned reasons. And I loved loved this video as always!

To get the rose back you could have pressed the packaging from the other highlighter into the top of the one you were repressing! Don’t know if that would have worked but it’s an idea x
