To the people who are thinking that this is a waste of money, I just wanted to point out that it contains over 12g of product which is a lot more than the Fenty pan highlighters contain. So if you like the puff, it is not bad value.

BEAUTY NEWS if you had put a little bit of lotion on before using the Powder Puff you would have gotten a more pronounced effect. Still the amount of product you're actually getting versus the price is ludicrous. Thank you for showing this..... it is a gorgeous color.

the pricepoint isn’t actually that bad considering what you buy with other brands eg. a $50 highlighter and only about 8 grams of product... $62 for 12 grams of product is decent compared to other highlighters on the market
I wonder if a smaller pom pom would make the product came out easily.
The more you use the puff, the more product comes out, because I just picked up the tester at sephora and it basically exploded over my hands

I think Rihanna did this pom pom for a reason. She wanted to create a artistic, luxurious way of creating this highlight that can be for the body without having to use a make-up brush all over your body. It was an artistic idea to make the application easier

This is actually something new and cute at the same time. In makeup/beauty industry we have seen almost everything and rihanna is just doing a great job on Fenty.

^Neick is right, plus having a big pan of glitter is a gigantic mess. It's the pitfall of many of the pompoms in the past. My mum has an old MaryKay glitter puff that I just opened and it was a cloud of powder all over her bed lol
I brought it and beat myself every morning looks beautiful in the sun tho
its a body highlighter not a regular highlighter, bourgeois packaging aside, if theyd kept applying it, the actual pigment wouldve started to come through. Maybe not as intense as opening it up and using it but that wouldnt be the point anyway, i doubt anyone would want straight rose gold pigment as a body highlight (but hey, i could be wrong lol) On top of that the price isnt even that unusual for the amount that you're getting. A lot of highlighters sell for like $30-$40 US and thats only for 7g of product. I'd say it's completely worth it.

the packaging isn't terrible for what the product was intended for....using it however u want may make u work for it
Fenty actually does have a highlighter in this shade. This looks exactly like Ginger Binge from the Kilawatt highlighter duo. So if you want to put that colour all over your body without the gimmicky application method, buying the highlighter instead is also an option.
Edit: They're actually selling Fairy Bomb pressed powder on their website now, I guess Rihanna listens to her customers!

Unpopular opinion: I have this lil puff and I absolutely love it. I think it's nice and subtle enough for everyday use, unlike the body lava which is dramatic as heck. It does take a second to work the puff when you first get it to work the product out but after that it works really well and lasts pretty well.

But this video isn't supposed to be a review video. This video is about breaking apart products to see what is inside and how they work. They didn't say it doesn't work. And they didn't say this is a scam or something. They just said that the highlighter in itslef looks better in their opinion than applied with the pom pom. We wouldn't have known that if they haven't opened it up. They said that if you like the method of application then it is fine. They didn't bought it to use it, but to see how it's made. So there's no need to buy regular highlighter if you want to see what is inside pom pom highlighter. xD

The pink definitely does come through. The glitter, in my opinion, when applied to the skin looks like a mixture of gold, iridescent and pink shimmer, and it looks so stunning when I apply it to my arms. Its actually a really pretty product, although admittedly a gimmicky product.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago after watching other make up guru reviews and I LOVE it! You have to pat it hard initially to really get it going but after that just a light dab will release the highlighter. It's seriously beautiful! I've gotten several compliments while wearing it out! Still enjoyed watching it get distroyed!

This was the most helpful destroy video on this product (maybe ever in terms of the ones I've seen overall as well!) so thank you so much!! I was anxious to see your review before purchasing or even watching other videos destroying the puff, but ended up seeing how it was all put together. However, no one weighed the amount or pressed the product, which I know is standard for you all. And those steps really helped show that while delivery method is so inefficient, the product is gorgeous and the amount included is worth the price. The puff may not be but the product is! Very happy and I'll probably be pressing this myself to use :) thank you thank you for helping me get my money's worth

@Nobody that's just ur opinion and has nothing to do with the product itself. And the more you use the puff the more the pigment seeps through the bottom and applys. So if they would have used it more or even did research they would have seen that it actually places alot more product. At the end of the day these women are trash at actually reviewing products or researching anything.

Yep, that's a major part of what disappointed me when I tried this in store. I thought it was going to be fluffy and luxurious. Then the glitter flecks were not that exciting either but it looks beautiful as a loose powder on its own. too bad.
Tisiphone2 I anti hauled this! It looks Lux but I remembered having something similar from Victoria’s Secret and after a month- it started to get matted and smelled! I think mixing w my perfume and my lotions- it went sour fast.
In the dusty corners of my mind I'm 99% sure that this kind of item was the rage years ago. Not as expensive though. lol If you use it with the body lava, I can imagine it will get funky fast.

For $42, I may actually buy this with 4 friends and just pull out the powder inside, press it into 4 pans or even just package it as a loose pigment and use it as an eyeshadow, highlighter and blush topper. $42/4 is about $10.25 a pan/person. I may even just do this on my own dime and then sell the 3 extra pans online for $15 or $20 and make a little profit on it or at the very least, pay for the product fully and keep a pan at zero cost for myself.
Why go through all that effort where there are tons of great affordable highlighters on the market

I know this product has more of a kitsch appeal to it, but I honestly feel like it's such a waste of materials and excess product that will end up in our landfills. I would have much preferred if they made a velcro strip on the top and a "refill option" with the bag for like $22. That way you won't have to toss the whole puff once it's gone and people can have the option to press them into to pans by just buying the refills.

The color reminds me of the loose highlighter: L'Oreal True Match Lumi Shimmerista in 506 Sunlight. In case anyone wants to try it as a dupe (although the L'oreal is not glittery, and it does not emphasize texture!)

Good to know how much actual product is in it. I actually like the finish after trying it in store, and it might be something I save up for. I thought it was fun to apply and i like a nice scattered glitter as a body shimmer.

On a different comment she said that it was just chrome powder buffed on to gel polish, if you want some tutorials for the chrome powder i recomend simply nailogical but you might have to scroll down cuz she does less actual nail tutorials now 🤣🤣

Lol, it does look like a dirty pad! They sold these when I was a kid with perfumed powder. Quality hasn’t improved. Cool that you were able to press it into something useful.

YESSSS there was one from Caboodles (when they still made actual makeup & not just traincases) like this that I had in middle school, except I remember that one actually worked well & smelled nice. It was white faux fur, came in a little lucite bubble container, and had a satin bow on top. It was more of a silver microglitter/large particle shimmer than a highlight though. Very early '00s.

Now that I've seen how much product you get I can honestly say that if I had the cash to spend I would ABSOLUTELY buy this. Not only do I love the whole idea of the old-fashioned powder pot & huge pink fluffy powder puff, the fact that it exudes glitter/highlight in such a lovely color AND when it starts getting to such time as the puff no longer distributes the product bc youve had it awhile and its getting near the end, you can probably cut it open and take out the little fabric bag and get just a little more use out of what's left in there - that's awesome. I truly wish I could get this. Its as extra as I am. 😁

It's literally not that far off from a regular high-end highlighter price
Actually the amount of product in the thing is pretty justifiable for price...it’s just I don’t think the pom does justice to the colour and it doesn’t distribute it well enough. I feel like most of the product would get caught in the pom instead of ending up on your skin and that’s where the price is shite.
It's also 60 in Aus, which I've noticed is way more expensive any where else. It's $42 in the US which is about how much I thought it would be.
Your also buying the brands name ya know so your not just buying the product

Honestly, I can sew a thing like this in 2 hours out of approx. 5 dollars worth of material, then I only need some broken highlighter and some glitter. I don't know... this is not my thing, but I bet some people will just love it.
I'd just stuff a teddy bear's ass with glitter and get puffing with it.
...you know, that's an awesome idea. I have some highlighters I'd love to use for body glitter on a more frequent basis but I hate getting it all over my fingers and I don't want to use a brush. I can get cheap offcuts of mohair...thanks so much!
