@makano What do you mean?
sucks there's none in my area
I had a UA-cam playlist of hospital whistleblowers on this PLANdemic. Funny how UA-cam deleted them.
MetalJesusRocks the wolf among us is such a good game, I’m pretty sure there coming out with a season 2 soon.
Kelsey is a good business lady! Being fair and not over charging is a true reflection of the kind of good person she is! God bless you!
I like metal j channel. It my favorite. On UA-cam is so cool.
Kelsey's husband working overtime selling a lot of stock through his Twitch channel. Continue supporting these two because they really know what they're doing and love doing it.
@@Dominicn123 What the actual fuck dude.
Jeffrey Dahmer really knew what he was doing and he loved doing it...Do you support him, too? Nah, I'm just kiddin'...This is Roy D. Mercer!
I tried to look at their inventory on their website but they don't have it on there
Kyle Fletcher what did he say?
@@tekkenfan01 lol yea, tell us what got deleted.
Really nice to see Kelsey's store going strong through these tough times. Hope all the Metal Jesus Fam are doing well and keeping safe. It will be nice when things get back to normal so we can see a reg and Jesus pick ups video again! 🤘😎
Kelsey is a very ethical business owner.
Also so cool that MetalJesus was looking for TimeShift which is made by Sierra. Ironic! :D
That's not what irony is
@@nudl3Zz maybe he meant iconic
@@narekder-sahakian3325 many people don't know what irony is but maybe you are right
I think he already owned it on x360 ... see his x360 videos
What name of her store can you order online
I’ve been binge watching your videos & the MJR crew throughout this whole Covid-19 lockdown and appreciate all of the info you share. Particularly enjoy the “hidden gems” videos. Glad some local game stores are finally open to hunt some of them down. Shout out to Radical Reggie and his great vids as well!!! 🎮🕹🤘🏽
I appreciate that!
Of course Kelsey’s wearing an Animal Crossing branded mask :D
Right? 😂
I was just waiting for her to get angry enough that a giant spear would fly out of her hand
I would wear a GTA San Adreas style bandanna.
@@notthatdigusted7468 You "would wear" ? Have you not left your house at all in months?
@@richardg5301 Well, masks arent a rule everywhere :) Here in The Netherlands, there hasnt been a lockdown and nobody uses masks (only in public transport a mask is required)
1:38 Kelsey is about as tall as 10 NES Cartridges 🙌
Cute! 😁
Kelsey's pretty...and pretty cute. Helps sell games. But I'm married, so doesn't matter. However, must meet her and MJR in person some day
But she’s got more height then I do hair.
I like to think he's called Metal Jesus not because he looks like Jesus, but because he's a pleasant and surprisingly soft spoken guy.
I am incredibly curious if that's how he is off camera. That would be awesome
I agree. Not all long haired Metal dudes can be a kind Metal Jesus!
That nickname it’s because he resurrect old stuff back to life
"He's more machine now than man...."
Actually it's because he fools his followers into worshipping a false deity to get fame and free stuff.
This dude is the one that got me into collecting here recently. His Playstation 2 videos was gold. I bought almost all the games he listed.
I do collect problem is I don’t have enough room and theres a lot of games I haven’t played
This is a dope video. Kelsey's shop looks really fun. 👍🏼
Army of two was one of the first 360 games I've played with friends and man. Definitely a modern gears of war kinda feel for sure! Loved it when you keep playing the game to pimp out your guns and make them look so nice. Probably one of the first games to introduce that concept of pimping out guns I feel like.
I like how “try to observe social distancing” perfectly lined up with the little girl zooming between you guys
Let's be realistic though. It's impossible to social distance 100% of time though, especially in grocery stores.
__ I’m Oh absolutely. Especially when kids are involved
I chuckled
Let’s be real. The pandemic is a lie to enslave humanity with vaccines and surveillance
@@TRIBISTHEGAWD no
Yup, did the same at three of my local stores. Spent around $4500 between games and consoles. Actually doing a video and photo shoot for one of the managers to give him some exposure here. Got some amazing pickups for the gaming rooms.
0:59 "signs around the store to observe social distancing." cue kid splitting the uprights lol
That short, I think only Kelsey has to worry about that one... lol
Haven't been to Another Castle in a few years - you're right on the stock. Way more than I've ever seen.
Army of Two is to this day one of my favorite co-op shooters
Same
I loved the gun customisation in one of those games, can’t remember which one I played with my friend, but the the gold guns were so cool
I've played through the first game 3 different times with friends. Great co-op!
@@MrNicholas7 contra would be my favorite 2 players game
@@BINGOBALL111222 The 40th Day (the sequel) had the most customization and was also a really fun game.
Why can't I have friends like Metal Jesus?
Instead, I'm surrounded by nothing but jokers, ruffians, afternoon farmers, and grumbletonians.
A real bunch of foppish white-livered ninnyhammers.
Man same. Great comment! 😂😂😂
Hahahahah
I feel you man :( metal jesus seems like a great guy to be friends with lol
@MrNicks24 A farmer who begins work late; a procrastinating or lazy farmer; a lazy person.
Lmfao ur comment cracks me up so hard bro,so do i,i have a various species of friends, douchebags, bugger, joker, etc.😂🤣
Kelsey's comments on the rise of prices online is super interesting - it's concerning, but it makes sense, as algorithmic pricing generally inflates the prices on everything. Hopefully, as we reopen and meet in person (in shops and at cons), this will help counter-regulate the plague of the algorithm.
There is such thing as a 'supply & demand equilibrium algorithm'. But the way you used the word in your sentence, I am sure you have no clue what the hell you're talking about.
@iTheGeek Not with the likes of Amazon. Someone explained it once about their book, I think it was, on Amazon, that no one was buying but someone had one for resale. Because of the way the algorithm was working it kept upping the price of the book over the months. I think there were two copies and the algo was playing them off each other. Annoying as I can't find the reference now.
@iTheGeek This is what I was talking about www.wired.com/2011/04/amazon-flies-24-million/amp
@iTheGeek maybe do some actual research, as I have on the nature of algorithmic pricing and how it influences the secondary market - then maybe we can have a productive conversation, instead of your troll-y nonsense.
@@TheStevenWhiting whoa. thanks for posting this! similar things happen on auction sites, maybe not to this degree, but prices still get artificially inflated.
I would so love to hang with MetalJesus and his friends to play games with. They all seem so cool and down to earth. This type of circle of friends is priceless and genuine.
Yes! Kelsey and Metal Jesus back, as the dynamic duo!!
Man, they don't see each other for two months and now everyone is nervous on camera. 🤔🧐👻😎
They do well together. I miss seeing Kelsey on UA-cam more.

I think after Kelsey got married she got engrossed into running the game stores.
love these game hunting episodes MJ!
Man its been a while since I've seen a game hunting video. I miss these.
All respect to Jason and Kelsey. You are two of the best people in the collector/proprietor hobby. Thanks so much for just being you and doing what you do.
Thanks for the upload Mr. Jesus, I’m glad to see you’re staying safe !
I hope MJ is buying as many guns as he can... living in Seattle,,,,, ya know
I visited Washington for the first time last month, and it was awesome finally seeing Pink Gorilla after learning about them on your channel! I even saw Kelsey! I totally forgot about Another Castle though 😭
It is amazing all the work she is doing and I fully support preserving these kind of game stores.
Some more context for those of you not familiar with the popularity of NCAA 14 right now: there is a very popular podcaster from Barstool Sports named Big Cat, who started streaming this game on Twitch. Because there are no sports on TV, a ton of people have been watching it (100k+ per day). He has developed a storyline with his video game coach, and it's been huge on Twitter.
Glad you guys are back. I just love the whole MJ crew. Watched a lot of older videos of you during the pandemic. Please stay all safe my friends.
Good to see people slowly going back out and about. Stay safe out there!
I want a video like this that's like an hour long 😭😭
@@Dominicn123 you good dude?
I really hope to see pink gorilla and all the other game stores in the Seattle area one day!
Thank you for being yourself through all this.
Unfortunately, I found that some people are going crazy. Keep on gaming!
Always love these type of videos from you. Hunting in Japan, local game shop, etc. As usual so well narrated.
@ 0:42 MJ looks effing serious. He's on a mission!
I told my friend to buy a 2DS when the Switch’s prices went up, but the prices for those went up as well. Even the cheese wedge model is more than it’s $89 retail price.
I wish we had a Pink Gorilla in the UK! It looks so cute and amazingly retro - with reasonable prices too. People love to surcharge elsewhere.
Independent stores will start to return to the UK from Jan 2021. The EU's red tape and high rent strangled small businesses on purpose so we had to purchase goods from Europe.
Thankfully were just a few months away from real free trade again 👍
Everyone now sound's like Kenny from South Park when speaking with the mask on

I've always had pretty strong legs LOL Now I just need to work on the GUT! 😂
The Corona+Camera adds 20lbs. My gut is bigger since being cooped up 3 months too!
I finally got a copy of Ring Fit Adventure yesterday so I'm going to try that out as well as get back on my bike and ride a lot this summer!
norcalrallyx too many of us in the same boat 😆😭
I thought I'd be the only one noticing this lol
That guy that was helping you at the counter at another castle off 99, same guy who helped me a couple days ago, very good customer service, just thought i'd share that because i found that kind of cool, shoutout!!
Hope you guys are doing well in Seattle :)
Had the biggest smile on my face when I saw this in my recommended. My favourite type of video, by my favourite UA-camr? Yes please.
This was a joy to watch though! I'd love more. There aren't any retro game stores in my country, so I like to live vicariously through these, haha. It's especially fun now that going outside is so stressful
I’m planning on doing a video talking about why some sports games are getting expensive because some are actually pretty complex reasons why
I went to Washington a couple years ago and was dying to check out these stores, especially Pink Gorilla, but never made it there. I can't wait to get back out there to see and help support these awesome stores.
Ok, as soon if this f'n virus is down, I'll come to Seattle and visit the Pink Gorilla store😁

Greetings from Wenatchee! Glad you are all back in business!
This place is scary good, i would easily find what i am looking for, if i to collect.
I Wish i had these kind of stores where i live.
The "Jay's CD And Hobby" stores here in Des Moines are way bigger than these stores
She seems to really care about her costumers. Good for her. I wish I could check this store out.
Be safe there are still a bunch of crazies in Seattle
I was hoping CHAZ didn't destroy their business.
I was just over at Al's games in U. district today, thanks for the note about Pink Gorilla, will have to head there tomorrow.
if you play Bionic Commando, my recommendation:
play it in hard mode, the mechanics of the game makes so much sense there, you have to be very careful to sneak enemie behind, and stike very agresively...it becomes another game, trust me
Nice to see you on the hunt again.I have a retro game store in my area but their prices are stupid high for even common stuff. So I mostly do thrift stores, yard sales and flea markets
I've been meaning to get to Pink Gorilla, since I haven't been in like a year. Hit up Another Castle recently and scored some great classics. But Kelsey is right - there are a lot of games that are getting to prices that raise my eyebrow. They shouldn't be as expensive as they are because they aren't even remotely rare. I've taken a break from eBay lately because of it.
By the way - thank you for how you're handling the price craziness, Kelsey. Especially holding off on selling Switches and that kind of stuff. Resellers are killing those of us that are still trying to pick up games during this pandemic.
Living vicariously through these videos. Thank you so much. 🤗
Just want to say a big thank you for setting a good example to your audience by wearing your mask and abiding by recommended health guidelines. Refreshing to see people being responsible!
You guys are really enviable for actually having a selection of local retro game stores. There is one good store about 100 km away from me and the next one is more than 400 km apart. Gamestop doesn't count, because they dont sell anything older than Nintendo DS.
And regarding the prices, I can totally imagine that more people like me came to the conclusion that now would be a good time to start collecting for a certain system.
Et voila, since beginning of the pandemic, I bought a DS Lite, a New 2DS XL, a New 3DS XL and countles GBA, NDS and 3DS Games. I even imported 3 games from different sellers from the USA, which I did the last time 15 years ago for some graphic novels. Even bought games from Japan, France and Spain. God, I have sooo much time...
Awesome! More Game Hunting videos to the people! Its interesting to see the stuff in US compared to here in Japan!
Good to see you on here as well 🤣
@@CrabmanGaming Absolutely man! Gotta check some MJR when he goes Game Hunting :D
It's really awesome to hear Pink Gorilla / Kelsey are trying to keep prices reasonable, even if that means keeping things off the shelf and away from resellers right now.
Thanks for a great video (and staying safe while doing it)!
I picked up a brand new, still sealed bundle of SEGA’s Nights into Dreams with the 3D controller.. nice and snug in my display cabinet. Was so happy
But is it actually in the box.....? The world will never know.
Liberate it games are to be played not sit in a display case!
DPR recordingz yes. It’s in there, I did open the bundle box and everything is there, registration card, safety instructions, controller and the jewel case which is still in its wrapping.. Previous owner, I do know personally and owned an arcade room a while back - but you are correct, it is pointless having something and not knowing if it’s truly inside so I opened the box for peace of mind.
Christopher Last Name I agree with you on that, I do have a long box copy of the game already which I play, don’t really see these bundles around often, it’s one of my favorite games and it came from a buddy of mine.
@@retromuscles4859 I mean it would bother me not knowing. Glad you got what you paid for. 😀

Singularity is one of the most underrated fps last generation. I totally love it! Have you played it? I wish for a sequel, or at least a remake!

Great to see people supporting retro game stores. I’ve been spending as much as I can (maybe too much) at Core Gaming NH. Just trying to do my part. Also, I remember Army of Two being great; start with that!
Seattle, nutcase center of the US. Be safe.
Home of the radical folks who want to bring back segregation again.
I do belive Florida still has that honor.🤔
ALOT of cities are now going full on nutcase. Here in Alabama Birmingham is running a little crazy on the violence as well.
New normal.
Cole Harwood nope Florida is fine... no chaz here
Your the best game channel to follow @MetalJesusRocks you focus on all video games and I enjoy almost all your videos Thanks brotha👍🏻
I played Army of Two with a friend. I remember that it is pretty fun playing with a friend but I can be challenging at some parts. We never beat it though. I remember single player being tougher because it's another AI. They don't always follow the plan that you've laid out.. 🤣🤣
It's a minor thing, but I think it's rad when you point out when you buy a game just to share with your nephew. I do the same thing with my best friend. Sometimes I'll buy something new just because it has co-op.
Respect for Kelsey that she doesn't want to sell switches well above the price
I recently picked up Nino Kuni for ps3. Been nice to go back to last gen and play games I missed. Btw I love the new edit style! You have the best "game pick up" vids to watch. Rock on brotherman!

Another Castle in Edmonds always looks that way. The pandemic is crazy, but those guys there have always been busting their butts to make that store look full every day, every week, of every month. Best game store in the entire state of Washington hands down!
I was supposed to head to Seattle in April for a conference. Was going to finally visit PG, but then corona happened.
I had a bunch of travel planned this year as well... that sadly, got either cancelled or delayed til next year :(

@@jmogler Well, that whole other issue didn't start until June.
I remember Army of two had a really neat coop mechanic of using each other for defense in big fights.
Watching this from Sweden, and this really made me realize how little life has changed over here compared to the rest of the world...
Yes, people (at least some) are scared, and yeah we're socially distancing and a lot of peoople are working from home, but there's no problem getting into stores, almost no one wears a mask and yeah, bars and pubs never closed.
So well, not the point of the video, but eye opening for me.

Great to see responsible people, stay safe everyone 🌞
PS: Hope you'll visit the other stores too and maybe do a video about it 😁
Seattle, specifically the region around the city, is where the virus originally broke out in the country. It was terrifying. We locked-down for over a month before it became “politicized”, and while we have gotten new cases like everyone this last week, the actual curve for new cases is has been manageable. It’s not perfect, but most people up here outside are wearing masks and being safe.
For perspective: We were #1 in cases now were like, #22. While we’re far from being in the clear it’s been gut wrenching and frankly sad to watch other states the last few months react to the virus.
Thanks MJ! Today I headed to University Pink Gorilla and got Speed Devils on DC for $7, and then Another Castle Lynnwood and got Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift PS2 for under $5! Love Seattle’s used game shops for the good finds at great prices.
