I am going to say it again, you really make good travel vlogs. I really enjoyed watching both parts
I really, really enjoy making them. Wish I could do more!
Agreeee!!
I totally agree with you. MetalJesus have a unique way of vlogging unlike other UA-camrs who just speaks in the screen which is pretty hard to watch honestly. It gets pretty shaky when they walk but props to MetalJesus for making it simple yet entertaining to watch at the same time. Love your content by the way.
@@MetalJesusRocks I just went to Osaka... Are you stalking me?
ua-cam.com/video/Lq09Z6bTV8I/v-deo.html
Agreed!
You should visit way more places, I love your travel videos
Hell yeah, like visit CDPR studios, including a couple interviews and tours of course, and then also they could tour old European castles and whatnot!
If I visited CDPR, I would have The Witcher on the brain just as much as Cyberpunk! MetalJesus could get some kind of mementos from both, I'm sure.
Plus all the amazing mountains, villages, castles, cathedrals. Would be a bit of walking and some hiking involved, but well worth it. Especially if you go when the weather is pretty nice.
@Ironclaw XII Well obviously I meant that. Im not interested in MetalJesus hanging out on the beach all day, I want him hunting down cities for their videogames and then also show a little culture. Just like he did here
Visit syria man what a place !
12:53 I love this tshirt. "Auto correct can go straight to he'll"
@Vie it would've been funnier if the
t- shirt said "Auto correct can go duck itself" 😂
Lol
You are so intertaning.... the way you talk and explain things just makes your videos shine. Thanx for sharing
@Korg Enthusiast don’t correct people
@Korg Enthusiast your a Karen for correcting people
@@itsalanaxoxo360 *You're
So many people cover their Japan trips on UA-cam, but your videos actually explore different things and in an honest way to you. It's really entertaining, I didn't think it was possible tbh. Thank you, Metal Jesus.
This whole trip looked amazing! Thank you for sharing with us.
Randominator tell me how that works
@@dennis5806 UA-cam, obviously, but who cares? He makes a few bucks sharing what he loves. If I were in a position to, I might too.
Nice Mushroomhead avatar
As everything I loved about this video, especially how humble you all were, my favorite moment was when the students ask if they can talk so they can practice their English. I find that amazing and sweet
"The stuff I DO want to haul home, well, they're called video games!" Nice. Keep your eyes on the prize, bro.
Nice

Lmao eyes on the prize I like that! 👀
You do better vlogs than vloggers. Great stuff 🖖
MJR.
These are really, really good vlogs buddy.
Agreed
I would have walked in that bar Space Station and never walked out. I would have become a fixture like Norm was in Cheers.
Love the videos.. "More crap to haul home..." From the guy that brought Nintendo Switch cases to Japan :)
Man, as a game collector living in Osaka, I must say, you REALLY nailed all the best spots! Props to whoever put that itinerary together. Also so cool that you met Matt, great guy! 🤘
Hey! I saw that you mentioned living in Osaka. Do you happen to know exactly where the shop at 6:00 min in the video is located at?
@@LilCommAS 120th and Huron, right by da Wendys
@@LilCommAS Sure! Metal Jesus said that it was called Surugaya, but I will correct it just a bit. The store he went to was actually just below Surugaya, and the store that he was in was actually called Super Potato in Nipponbashi. Absolutely fantastic location for Retro! Hope this helps!
(I apologize that my comment was so delayed! UA-cam must not have notified me of your response.)
@@EricAbroad No worries about the late reply, thanks for helping me out!
Does games like Nintendo switch games in japan only have Japanese language or multi language? How can I know?
Like the japan vlogs.
Let's see a "Metal Jesus afcross the globe" series of vlogs. Getting games everywhere.
I vote yes.
He'd come to Australia and walk away with like three games...things are too expensive here :P
@@CrookiNariin terms of expensive things, noone

@@detonadospontocom Norway is way way more expensive
I enjoyed this vlog and retrospective of your trip. You're a chill dude Metal Jesus
Phenomenal vlog work and commentary MJ. Wow, you’re a natural.
The Japan videos are the highlights of the MJR UA-cam channel
JAPAN LOOKS FUN!!!!!!
Does Metal Jesus always make a new intro for every video? The madman
He rotates different version, but yeah he is a little EXTRA
I'm sooo envious of those Cave shoot 'em ups! This video series was a joy to watch. Thanks to you for the great work, and big thanks to Kinsey for being the absolute MVP!
Loved these travel vlogs, really kept me intrigued all the way through from part 1 to part 2, well edited and narrated, very enjoyable.
Next Metal Jesus episodes:
10 HIDDEN GEMS FROM JAPAN.
10 HIDDEN FOOD GEMS FROM JAPAN
10 HIDDEN RBNB GEMS FROM JAPAN
He need too
do a review or lets-play of ALL those Shmups!
Don't forget all the Japanese beer reviews from kinsey :)
10 HIDDEN TOILET GEMS FROM JAPAN.
10 HIDDEN TOILET FEATURES FROM JAPAN.
You should definitely do a video talking about the pickups with gameplay.
Hopefully he will do one...
He doesn't have time to play games in his busy life of hoarding and travelling the world at gullible people's expense.
@@mikeysaint4368 Did he victimize you in a pyramid scheme of some sort in the past? It seems really personal with you. Can you give us details?
@@jaspersalenga5330 just classic bitching about people using Patreon. Basically he thinks people giving him money for his content is them being duped.
I love the Metal Jesus Crew ..they all seem like wonderful, kind, down to earth people, who love what they do. Thanks for another great video!
I'm loving this mini series/vlog you did a excellent job of keeping it not only very informative but absolutely entertaining.
I'm military and I'm stationed out here. I think you did an awesome job covering almost everything and the video game niche things you find still surprise me every time.
Respect for serving man
I am absolutely loving this series!!! Hope you had a great time!
Both parts a brilliant watch. Thanks for letting us tag along with you through Japan.
I'll use these two videos as a guide for my trip to Japan next year! Thanks dude.
Really enjoyed these vlogs. Great job ! Actually went to Japan last month, best experience I have ever had.
Been a fan of yours for years, love how the content and quality of your videos has evolved. Keeps getting better and better, also repping the PNW, love it!
Only half way through the video and just booked a trip in a few months! You are legend! Thanks for the rec!
Man, these two vlogs were awesome. Makes me wish my best buddies were into gaming and we went on a trip to Japan ourselves!
That orange GameCube looks awesome 😎
So are you Reggie! Hope you enjoy that fighting game if Jason gifted it to you.
"its the best color in the world" - Kinsey.
REGGGGGGGIE! Thanks for answering my txt messages at crazy hours
MetalJesusRocks 😆 no problem, I’m always awake 😳
These Japan videos have felt like I was along for the ride with good friends. Thanks for sharing the experience!
Really love your videos by the way. The part where you said, “the only crap I wanna haul home is called video games”... that hit my heart on a deeper level. Thank-you for keeping me entertained for years.
Thanks for putting these two videos together! Makes me want to go back!
This is such an epic video. Thank you man.
It's almost like you were there.
Loved these two videos! Thanks for sharing your trip Jason!
Loved these videos, I didn’t expect to watch both all the way through but you guys saw some awesome stuff
You are good in these travel vlog videos man. Was very enjoyable all around. Shoutouts from Venezuela
100% on my bucket list. Looks like you guys had an amazing trip!
I'll be in Japan soon as well. These videos get me more pupped up about it, thank you for sharing.

Keep up with your gaming vlog. I enjoyed it more than your other videos. Keep it up meta jr.
Thank you for the video. The clips and the script are awesomely fit. Great work here.
Great cinematics, I loved these videos. Im also amazed at how many shop owners let you film in there store.
Y'all are just plain cool! Being willing to help the students get practical experience with English was very cool! Metal Jesus and his crew ROCK!
Great video, very fun to watch the excitement in people's eyes when they first come to Japan. I have lived in Japan for 14 years, and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
"I'm a bad tourist..." Man, you look like an excellent tourist!
Both of these videos are very well done! Thank you for sharing!
This is one of the most enjoyable UA-cam videos I’ve ever watched . Should do a lot more
Travel videos !
You rock metaljesus. Do plan on going next year thanks for the tips. 🤘
Awesome video it looked so much fun out there! Its really cool to see what its like, everyone seemed so friendly and the games/merch stores are amazing. That Starbucks too, totally didnt expect that! You should totally make more travel videos :D
I really enjoyed the vids of your trip to Japan. You both are very charismatic down to earth folks. Keep it up!
That old, traditional part of Kyoto is called Gion. :) It's probably my favorite place in Japan, besides Akihabara!
Really cool set of videos. I have never been outside of the U.S. so it's great to sort of feel like I am sightseeing in a different place. I'm in the Midwest, but I really want to check out Seattle someday! Thanks for your content. MJ 🤘🏻🤘🏻
As someone who lives near Seattle, I have no desire to go there.
Really good vlog, looks like it was an awesome trip. Thanks for sharing.
Those Vita's are beautiful!! I would love to take a trip like this one day, thanks for sharing!
Sigh...I miss Japan. One day I will go back. Awesome trip, thank you for sharing your adventure with us!
Great vid! I was going to recommend that you should visit Space Station, but then I saw that you actually did. I had some kind of street fighter drink that they lit on fire. Cool place.
Great video, one of the best videos covering a Japan trip I’ve ever seen. It was also very helpful in me making a decision to move to Japan someday (hopefully soon).
I must've seen the Japan trip atleast 20 times, I really enjoy the Travel, Video Games and food trip it really goes well together and you do good job in documenting the entrie trip
Been waiting for this I'm off to Tokyo next Saturday! I'm so excited

I had a long backlog video... never find enough time to finish the yet..
Why? Am I missing something or do you just happen to be going around the same time? It's not like free right now, is it? IS IT? ;) I love everything about Japan other than the food. One of the best places in the world, I think. Mostly.
I loved these Japanese series, Metal Jesus u rock dude!!!
Frank Fuentes, I thought it was implied in the name? Lol.
Thank you so much for making these videos! I’ve really liked it!
Loved the two videos. I was there back in 2016 on holidays, and this brought back a lot of great memories.
Hey man, I met you at E3 at the outdoor drevolver both. Told you I was gonna go to Japan a few months later and was thankful for these videos.
Ended up going and these videos were in fact, an awesome reference. Thanks!
Love love love Japan! The safest and most interesting country I have ever visited, and I am fortunate enough to have been to many countries. Great vlog Jesus 😁
wow!!
Your family is super charismatic and your videos are very illustrative. good job!
I really enjoyed your vlogging videos. You made it very well with voice overs and in a very coherent manner.
Awesome vid man! Keep playin',keep rockin', Latr boss!
Loved the videos, they were very helpful in showing me some cool stuff to see in Japan. My wife and I are planning to go there at some point in the next few years
These videos are brilliant in every way. Well done and thanks
As a westerner it's great to know we can go to Japan for a great gaming experience. Just think for a moment, the Japanese don't have this travelling option. Where would they go to find games they don't already have?!
I really enjoyed your trip recap videos. You just approach this like a normal guy and not a UA-camr. Hope you can take some more trips in the future
I really try to convey what it's really like to travel there as a first time visitor. Thanks for noticing!
MetalJesusRocks it was great to watch man. It all felt very genuine and joyful I enjoyed seeing these a lot.
You are too underrated . Literally I have been watching you grow since your beginning of this channel and you are the reason behind my craze for video games ❤️🌸
I went to Japan in August of last year. It was the best time ever. This video brought many memories and made me want to go back eventually. Congrats on all those rare findings!!
I haven’t seen anyone mention it, but these travel videos are very high quality! I would love to see more travel videos!
MJR just has a very clean format regardless of the subject the way he goes about it is always on point
Traveling to Japan tomorrow and this video was very helpful and informative. Thanks
all i care about is the food. could you take pics? roe is my favorite.
Thanks for sharing this with us. Loved it! : )
Great videos! Really enjoyed watching these. Would love to see more vlog type videos in the future
Going to Tokyo/Osaka with a High School buddy of mine who has been studying Japanese over the last 3-4 years in college.
Can't wait!
How was it?
@@lucasandrescosta391 he lied... lol
I live in Kirkland near Seattle. And I travel to Japan annually. To save money on a flight take China Air. It is about half the price of other major airliners. A round trip to Kyushu Nagasaki is about $660 compared to JAL $1350 usually. Also, exchange money here in USA instead of in Japan to get more Yen 💱💹for your dollar. Also,a Hostel is even cheaper than AirBnB. Also take 2 big suitcases w you and only fill one of them. Then fill the other with souvenirs. Hope this helped.
Or buy a cheap one there....we did, every time we went....Although it does mean you end up with lots of cheap suitcases to 'give away' ;) 5000 yen will get you a man size suitcase....just shop around
China Air serves Yulin meat festival leftovers though.
You seem like such a nice dude! Thanks for the amazing content, and thanks for reminding me how amazing Japan is.
I cant wait for my trip to Japan, your video was really helpful. Thanks.
Dude, I wish I had known you were going to be here. I would have loved to have bought you a beer. Your videos are so awesome man. Keep up the great work!
I guess that's what I get for not keeping up on UA-cam every day lol.
Awesome trip! Also you helped me for my future visit .
And man Japanese people REALLY take care of their stuff, i mean i cant believe the 2 vitas and psp are used!!!
Abdulrahman Alrehan yea...I bought a preown ps4 and it is almost brand new...they really take care it really well
Thank you for making this. Seriously enjoyable to watch.
Metal Jesus, I just want to say thank you so so much for making this video. Looks like an amazing trip! I used to go to Japan once a year 2005-2009, and lives there almost all of 2008. I visited once in 2017, but had really no idea where to hunt for games much any more. This video was super informative and makes me miss those days at Super Potato when they had oodles of Wonderswan and Virtual Boy games. I live in Taiwan now, so it's a hop over. I'd like to check all this out next time. Maybe even attend a #chiptune concert.
Thank you for sharing your trip this was so fun to watch big fan here can't wait to go to Pink gorilla someday I live in belltown on 1st and Blanchard right next to that big huge concrete condo building
I was in Tokyo a couple weeks ago! Amazing place, I went nuts with the amount of retro games you can find!
Luis Cruz same lol i went like April 20 lol it was awesome went with my school aha
Great video yet again . I just subscribed to this channel recently and I love it. Keep it up man all the best from Ireland 🇮🇪
Thanks for the lovely videos, Jesus. I enjoyed every minute! Japan is a dream destination for me, hopefully one day I'll get to visit it.
I did a study abroad program in Japan (near Osaka/Kyoto) for a semester last year. I recognize so many of the places you went, it is truly awesome. I hope you tried some Japanese curry.
Yes! Japanese curry is the best in the world. !!
India says F you!
I’m here from your Oregon video (I’m following you since years but I somehow missed this serie). I went to Tokyo in 2016 and I’ve fallen in love with it. It’s nice to see again most of the places I visited. And yes, Robot Restaurant is totally crazy, but totally worth it. :)
So awesome! These were fun to watch!
Nice video! The way you pronounce Dotonbori makes it sound you were somewhere in the UK lol. I'm teasing though, I really love the content and glad you had an awesome trip.
Ikr, his pronunciation was not so accurate xD
WOW .. Metal Jesus you rock. Your Japanese vacation mirrored my own in 2005. Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka are all amazing beautiful cities, with fun video game culture. I visited the same stores and streets from your video and had flashbacks from my own trip. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure. Arigatō
