- The Winx Chronicles is an upcoming six-book, Science Fantasy epic based on the 2004 animated Italian Television show "Winx Club". It will be a complete rewrite of the first three seasons and first movie of the show.
The full first book will be released in 2023.
This is an excerpt from a scene from later in the book where Bloom first arrives on the planet Magix. I thought this would be a fun scene to share as it displays some more of the world of Magix. This scene is still a work in progress and is subject to change! But I hope you enjoy it all the same!

My thoughts, both serious and non-serious:
- Stella is characterized perfectly, the perfect cross between fantasy princess and valley girl.
- A great description of the chamber under the Temple of Light, especially of that cosmic glow.
- The Omni worn by everyone with its extreme functionality, including the ability to change one’s appearance, reminds me of the PipBoy from the Fallout game series.
- Solaria seems to be based on Italy in terms of language, architecture and culture.
- Introducing Layla is a nice twist; even in most AUs of Winx Club, she isn’t introduced until the later in the series.
- Bloom is also done well; she’s quiet and just trying to take everything in.
All in all, this is really good and promising. I can’t wait to see more of your world!
Soooooooo is this gonna be an Audio drama? Kinda like the Unicorn of war rewrites? If so I’m so STOKED. These little snippets are so intriguing I need moreeeee
Jumping straight to the magic dimension made me think I had skipped a chapter. Quite a start.
Don't worry, there are chapters that prelude this so you can get to know Bloom and Stella before this moment and the world she leaves behind!
i just finished watching it, OMG you nailed Stella!! and also i love the upgrade to the magical universe. it feels allot more magical, its was mostly si fi in the og with magic tacked on. here they blend together perfectly!! cant wait to see more!
Wow this is fantastic I am transported into the magic dimension and to Solaria and I am in love with the characterization of Bloom and Stella. Please keep it up.
This is sooo goood!!!! I love love this! Also having Stella and Layla/Aisha as friend from the beginning was soo smart! Plus it make so much sense that Stella, a princess will be friend with Layla/Aisha who is also a princess. I love how you manage to keep Stella bubbliness but also make her more mature and regal. Also the way you capture Bloom reacting to the Magic Dimension was soo spot on!!!! Her amazement and wonder was so endearing and made me love bloom even more!!! Love this so far! I can’t wait to read/listen to the rest!!!!!

I dreamt that it was later revealed that the narrator is lord bartelby from secret of the lost kingdom and now I wonder if it's true🤔

this is really shaping up nicely. I love the art and your writing is wonderful. I really am enjoying your take on the characters. They seem deeply thought about yet true to the originals. I love Stella's "so way smarter than me." Sounds just like her! I also really applaud your descriptions. They're not too long but certainly paint a wonderful picture of the environment. I am really looking forward to the book. A note: I know this is just a snippet, but I do hope we get a little bit more about the differences between the fashion of the magical universe and Earth; that seemed a little unclear.

I love the blend of structured yet descriptive language that gets contrasted by hints of humor! (If that makes sense 💀) It really does feel like a homage of the show with a new spin done right :]]

Does Stella not know that Layla is actually Aisha?
Sooo doesn't Bloom remember what happened with her sister and how she got to Earth? Also Layla s original name from the Italian dub itself is Aisha not Layla
Bloom doesn't remember at the start of the story no, Im aware that the original name is Aisha, but I wanted to include a nod to the cinelume and 4kids name in the books. All will be revealed
Is that AI in the background?
I'm a little confused how Stella and Bloom met, they met like on a show or otherwise, by the way, the video turned out great, I'm waiting for the unbearable continuation 👍💓
