Given Roxy had Bloom's storyline and Tecna's appearence, I'd want a redesign/writing overhaul for her if she came for the reboot.
I wanted Roxy back AND I WANTED HER TO HAVE AN IRISH ACCENT. She's from Tir Nan Og, which is from Irish mythology. Make her officialy Irish you cowards.
And make Bloom, Tecna, and Stella canonically Italian
@@finland4ever55 Considering Stella and Tecna aren't from Earth, IDK how that'd work. Plus I always wished Roxy was Native American or Pacific Islander (as it stands now, her design feels too similar to Tecna's, IMO).

So they can use the shows popularity. Most people don’t know when a show gets a reboot bcuz it’s entirely different. So they just use the original brand
I'm sure they'll fix that shortly before it comes out.
To be fair, i'd rather it be season 9 so people don't confuse it with the original season 1. And i'd also rather they don't come up with any new different name that is just going to confuse people, at this point the damage has already been done, so might as well continue it.

Given that Iginio acknowledged the large male fanbase the show has, I hope the reboot fleshes the Specialists out beyond just being love interests. Riven's issues with his mom (not sure if this will be canon in the reboot) would be great to explore.

3:00 Actually Riven wasn’t under a spell in any adaptation other than 4kids. All Darcy did was give him the ability to communicate with her whenever he wanted. Like you said, Riven does have anger issues and Darcy did once say that Riven was on the same level as The Devil.
(Technically she said Prince of Darkness but because there is no Prince of Darkness character, it’s theorized that she was referring to the devil, which is also known as the prince of darkness.)

@@LynnThreadzOfficial It’s because Riven wasn’t intended to be under a spell in the original adaptation.
It’s just with so many adaptations, there are bound to be differences.
Like in the Nickelodeon specials, Riven’s rudeness was toned down, The Girls first transformation was called Charmix and Brandon and Sky didn’t trade places.
In one adaptation, Aisha and the underwater Royal Family weren’t related but the Nickelodeon adaptation decided to make them related.
In some adaptations, Aisha was called Layla.

He was under a spell in the original. When he fell from the motorbike he was unconscious and Darcy cast a spell which woke him up, but also manipulated his mind.
@@vixy_p1420 I went to rewatch the episode and while Darcy did cast a spell, it didn’t seem to be brainwashing.
All Darcy said was “Wake up Riven”and When Riven wakes up, there’s nothing that suggests his mind was tampered with. It looks similar to when the Winx would wake someone up.
While Riven appears to be getting attracted to Darcy, She is a bad girl and did just help him.
I think if it was intended to be brainwashing, the show would do a similar thing to when Darcy brainwashed him in 4kids, Secret of the lost Kingdom, and when brainwashing is used in the comics. (Show the character’s thoughts suddenly switching, directly state it’s brainwashing and/or physical appearance changing.)
Additionally at the time, Riven appeared to be uncertain of what he thought of Musa, though he usually ignored her. So he wouldn’t feel like he shouldn’t be interested in other girls because of any attraction to Musa. (He even spoke about the possibility of going on a date with Bloom and commented on Bloom being attracted to him, though he wasn’t serious and just wanted to annoy Sky and prove a point to Brandon.)

Iginio has shared in an interview that Roxy will not be returning in the reboot just yet, so it’s most likely the new Winx member, won’t be her.

im kinda worried about them adding a new member. im worried theyll either be left out in the dust (plot and character development/personality wise) or they will be so badly written in to the cast they dont mesh well at all with the other girls. even tho i never really liked roxy as a character if they were to give her a bit of a revamp and make her the same age as the other girls i would MUCH rather have her in the main cast rather than terra from the live action show. i honestly wish i could forget about that live action show forever personally. if they do bring terra in as the new member 1) there will be two nature fairies im not sure how they could make that work and 2) im not sure if she could be revamped enough to both work well with the other girls (as well with flora still being there) and somehow not be an entirely newly written character. either way tho im just so excited for this reboot and imma watch it either way
As for Riven possibly being a villain, i think they're gonna give him a redemption arc. Like Riven will start out as a villain who joins the Trix, but will eventually fall in love with Musa and become friends with the Specialists. After joining the Specialists, he will eventually betray the Trix.
I think that would be a cool idea.

I can't tell if that's Riven who is fighting along with the Trix against the Winx in the upcoming reboot version of the Winx but if it's true then I would guess that Riven will start out as a villian which would make sense since he had been a jerk back in the very first season.
Ok so.... Looks like the Trix and the Wizards of the Black Circles are teaming tf up.... Which means Alfea is most likely located somewhere on Earth - speaking speculatively btw. Which means we're probably not getting an Enchantix or Believix.... Are they gonna fusioned these two forms? And the STILL exclusion of Roxy, red flag.

Good video! I overall do like the new outfits and designs for the characters, though I'd change some tiny details here and there but overall, I'd rate it a high 7.9/10.
As for Riven's possible antagonistic role, as you noted in the video, he did work for the Trix in Season 1 for a time so if that is what Iginio wishes to do, at least he has a precedent set for it. However, if he's still keeping Riven & Musa together, I hope there would be consequences for both sides, Riven especially and if he does continue for 2nd Season Reboot, I hope he has an actual character arc. One of my only complaints about S1 is that it doesn't seem to do anything w/ RivenXMusa aside from the thing b/t him and Darcy...and it just never gets brought up again.
For their relationship (with him and Musa), I've always been indifferent to it: I don't hate it and there are some things I like about them, but their overall dynamic just wasn't for me and it seemed to me the writers had no ambition to do anything with MusaXRiven aside from just drama. And this is coming from someone who is a story writer, so I do have some know-how behind me. Personally, I've always shipped FloraxHelia, StellaxBrandon and AishaxNabu, but hey, whatever floats your boat. :)
Side-note: I actually don't mind BloomxSky and generally like Bloom, so don't come at me, just my opinion
It's a shame we won't get to see Roxy again as I grew to really like her in S4 (luckily, I'm writing a fanfic trilogy which will feature her quite a bit, so...there's that, I guess?). But, on the plus side, the new member doesn't look half bad, given the admittedly low quality stills we have to deal with. Again ,we won't know until the show is released. Either way, count me in for the ride.

@@LynnThreadzOfficial Yeah. If they had done it to where Riven progressed with a character arc, then I'd accept him. Heck, have Musa chew him out on it so that it gives him something to work on. There were also hints about him not really having the best childhood as well, so you can explore the roots of what him the way he is and have him confront himself, realizing what he does is not good for him, Musa or anyone else. Heck, you can have it where Riven learns to be a good person, but him and Musa on't end up together but still want to be friends...yet Riven falls for someone else & shows he has indeed become a better person.
*Shrugs* That's just how I'd do it, though. Iginio is in the director's chair, so it is technically his show but...I'm cautious about where he'll take it.
Absolutely! It's still in progress, but I got a number of episodes done in advance. The trilogy is titled "The Lunastra Trilogy" and takes place six weeks after the events of S4 and basically ignores everything from S5-S8, making it a true follow-up to the OG series. I kinda have high hopes for the Winx Club reboot to be really good, like Transformers Prime which is one of the best reboots i've seen.
They say thar a reboot will rectify the mistakes in the original show (like how the OG Winx went downhill, starting with Season 5).

I am 38, turning 39. I still love the winx club going get a reboot like voltron I how animation as a kid of my animation make started as otaku who loves anime means animation so much it hard to feel retro and feel nostalgic feeling back than like rare items nowadays.

There could've been so many better things than the reebot, for instance they could've started season 9 with the original animation style, created major arcs for each winx member & kept their OG energy. And imo people would have loved that more than the reebot, although it seems their traget audience has changed anyway.. It is now kids of today who watch 3D cartoons. 😭 how I wish for it to go back to OG.

I miss the old winx season 1 - 7 the 8th season was a bit weird cuz our child hood was those same characters from the 1-7 seasons my first knowing about winx was in italy i saw season 1 - 2 and now im a bit disappointed about the reboot cuz of the new looks and stuff but your information are interesting i loved it ❤❤

I come to inform you that the new images and videos of the reebot winx club were published, Mitzi also reappeared after 10 years of her last appearance in season 5 and 6, in one of the videos she is shown highlighted in her room discovering her powers and in another video Bloom and Mitzi are shown in a bathroom in another video Bloom is seen running in a forest but those videos are not the final designs

I used multiple sources to verify that the reboot would be 52 13-minute episodes. I'm not lying. If I'm wrong then it's because those sources are outdated. It was originally going to be 52 13-minute episodes. The 23-26 format was revealed later as a last minute change. Besides, you could just kindly let people know that the reboot is 26 episodes by 23 minutes now without any accusations.

can you chill out? it's probably outdated now and it seems like a habit now and it's not just winx club they change things last minute (people do that with like each series they've created)
what this owner said wasn't lying because i've also read something like that last year but that changed last minute and decided to continues with its 23 or 26 episodes in season 9 instead like they did with the other seasons (who knows they have changed the animation we don't know yet?)
