- The Winx Chronicles is an upcoming six-book, Science Fantasy epic based on the 2004 animated Italian Television show "Winx Club". It will be a complete rewrite of the first three seasons and first movie of the show.
The full first book will be released in 2023.
This is an excerpt from the Fate, it takes place at the start of the book. Here, Bloom has her first interaction with the fairy Stella. This will not be the last of course! But this is a moment I wanted to share the current progress on!
It's been 20 years since Bloom first met Stella. and what a wonderful 20 years it has been! I hope you enjoy my, admittedly, kinda clunky reading of this passage of The Winx Chronicles.

I never really cared for in depth descriptions of surroundings, yet the way the forest was written and your narration actually made me like it for once!

The description of the surroundings made me wonder something so obvious I'm surprised I never asked : where does Bloom live ?
In The Winx Chronicles, Bloom lives in Mill Valley California. This passage is set in Muir woods just off the town :)

@@lyraenza Im not sure! I always felt like Bloom would be from San Francisco in my mind for some reason! But I knew that I wanted this scene to take place in a really cinematic wooded area so that landed me in mill valley which fits quite nicely!
