@@nigel8499 And if it's a shallow one, 4 inches or so deep, its a 'Butler's sink'. Belfast sinks were common in UK and Ireland up until fitted kitchens started to be installed in the 60's, now making a comeback and can be obtained at a reasonable price from reclamation yards if not wanting to pay the price of a new one.
Eric did not use his drone in that weather..The wind alone would have made it impossible to fly even with a commercial drone..He gave credit to a guy named Adam plus the sun was out and shinning in those drone shots...Now the beautiful camera work was all them..absolutely stunning destination and on my bucket list.
My first trip to Ireland was also in the Winter (as a teenager, many years back), touring the Killarney, Bantry and Dingle areas. The weather was mild and dry though. The Ring of Kerry not to be missed, as were the Lakes of Killarney. That South West corner of Ireland is desperately beautiful, with high mountains and rocky coasts. There is certainly beauty and magic a-plenty in Ireland - even when it's blowing a hooly!
My sister and I road tripped Ireland in May of '19. Word can not begin to describe the beauty of Cliffs of Moher. The day we went was extremely windy. Almost hurricane force I'd say. I totally said the whole "I feel like a newsreporter" part to my sister when we were there too lol I left a little piece of my heart in Ireland. I want to go back so bad.
You guys drive me crazy... I’ve missed so much to be there... Just breathe some fresh air of Ireland for me, wishing the most beautiful things! Enjoy...
Haven't commented in a while but I've been watching all along -- this one was so dang creative and fun in every respect! The opening montage -- the windshield wiper transition -- the on-screen graphics -- plus gorgeous footage and a outright crazy adventure. One of my all-time favorites!
Cliffs - Damn! It's so breathtakingly beautiful, but that wind! Roads - With all the travel videos I've watched, I still don't understand the one-lane roads with blind spots. It gives me anxiety. AirBnb - I've never heard a kitchen be described as sexy 🤣 Thanks for that.
That was hilarious. The sheep at 3:52 was like ‘uncle bob, is that you! You look different’. Ive been up there, its pretty vicious on calmer days. Fair play to you guys!
If you guys are still in Ireland, don't miss out on the Aran Islands! Take the ferry to Inis Mór (the largest of the three islands) and wander around for the perfect day trip. If the weather allows it, rent some bikes to explore. Dún Aonghasa was one of my favourite places in Ireland. And definitely don't miss out on 'the worm hole'! It's not easily accessible (about an hour walk on quite bad terrain) but SO WORTH IT! It's absolutely beautiful and majestic in real life!
I can't believe the wind!! I've lived through many hurricanes (Louisiana) that's hurricane force winds!! That was just crazy!! I kept saying to the video " be careful " !!! In my outside voice! Your hair looks great Eric :)
Hi adventures ah the cliffs of moher beautiful that is differently my favourite blog. Wow Eric you should have held on to Alison thought that wind was very strong for her great video love Ireland especially achill island beautiful scenery and beaches.
Reasons to go to Northern Ireland . .. The Titanic, Game Of Thrones Locations, Dunluce Castle, Carrick Rope Bridge, Derry/ Londonderry City Walls, The Giants Causeway, Belfast City, Bushmills Distillery 🤓
Man died at the cliffs the other day so be careful people. Also fun fact the scene where harry potter finds the horcrux was filmed at the cliffs. Thats news segment was great!!!
Having so much fun watching you guys tour Ireland! Me and three friends did a similar road trip two years ago (Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Galway, Cork etc) and had such a good time. But, like you, we had to be prepared for all kinds of weather! x
Great video. Yeah, speed limits are confusing here half the time. Hope the Cork meet up went well. Maybe you could do a video on your evening recipes when you settle in for night.
That Airbnb is awesome. Someone takes pride and is not just in it for the money. Wow that wind at Moher Cliffs was at hurricane levels. Pretty intense to say the least. I will be interested in you guys going to Cork, that is where my Great Grandma came from in the late 1880's.
A few years ago my wife and I went to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. It only rained the once, from the moment we arrived to the moment when we left. Amazing scenery though.
Seriously , thank you for what you do. I love watching your videos - especially when you travel to places I have been. It makes me want to go back and try new adventures in those places. I have been to the Cliffs of Moher, so this was really exciting to watch!
You should visit Croaghaun on Achill Island in County Mayo, the tallest sea cliffs in Ireland and the European Union. You can drive onto Achill Island in the west of Mayo, one of Ireland's most spectacular counties. Croaghaun is 688 metres (2,257 ft) high. You have to climb up to them though, the other side of the mountain, so it is for adventurous outdoorsy types. The second highest in Ireland up in County Donegal are easier access. The ones in Donegal are 596 metres (1,955 ft) and called Slieve League. For context folks, the Cliffs of Moher are 214 metres (702 ft) tall. The White Cliffs of Dover in England are 110 metres (350 ft).
I visited the Cliffs of Moher in May 1987 (well before you kids were even a gleam in your respective mothers' eyes, I bet). They didn't have as extensive a visitor center at that time, but it was certainly gray and chilly then. I don't remember the wind blowing as hard as you two experienced, though! Wow! But yes, the view is spectacular. I want to go to the Cliffs again next time I can make it to Ireland - in the summer, so I can hopefully catch the spectacular view on a sunny day (also much less windy, lol!). I'm glad you were able to make the trip. I would also like to have your Airbnb place, too! Too cool for words.
When I went to the cliffs it was completely completely foggy, like you couldn’t see a metre in front of you and it was cold and rainy. Suffice to say, need to make another trip there. The craziest wind I have experienced was in Patagonia where my sunglasses flew off my face never to be seen again. We also had to crouch down so that we didn’t blow over haha
Love the way you guys are filming Ireland. The cliffs are windy on a good day! Sadly an Indian student lost his life taking a selfie there the other day. The Irish roads are pretty bendy but its easier in the dark as you can see the light of oncoming cars. Enjoy your trip!
that was some hard core vlogging guys , loved every minute of it. the gravy on your boiled bacon is called white sauce lol. we have it in australia as well but put it on corned beef thats boiled like the bacon for a few hours.
I love love love your videos. I can't afford to travel so I do so through you. I just wish your videos were longer. Glad you're back in Ireland. How about Africa? I'd love to see that. Stay blessed.
I was hoping to hear Allison's verdict on the boiled bacon. Was it nice, Allison? Thanks for another great video. I'm looking forward to seeing Cork. I'll be there in July, but only for 1 day (cruise stop).
The wind.. yikes. I've seen other vlogs on the Cliffs but this looked extra windy. I didn't realize you had weather reporting skills though! 😆 - Trevor
The roads are grand, drove many a windy, rainy, dark night on the back roads of Ireland, with cars shooting past each other. In fairness I'm from Ireland 😁 Try it in a blizzard 😂
That is insane Guys. We were there in July 2018 and we were lucky to have some mist, but we were able to walk with comfort and enjoy the views. I'm glad you didn't use your own drone, it would have been smashed. i will give you a thumbs up as I enjoyed your video. thank you for sharing. yes those 80 km signs are crazy. Like yourselves we traveled around 50 km an hour. Air B&B is the best way to travel and meet the locals. I just love you and have subscribed.
I have seen there a guy, hands in the pockets, standing right on the edge, and bending to look the waves crashing 200 m behind... A nice way to have a new entry in the statistics.
You guys need to check out the Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry, and Gap of Dunloe. I've lived in Ireland my whole life and County Kerry is by far the most beautiful county in Ireland in my opinion. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.
I know you guys were disappointed when you couldn't find gur cake last time in Dublin, so if you're stopping by there again, I just found a place that has it! It's called The Bretzel Bakery in Portobello, Dublin.
The cliffs were amazing and the drone footage was so beautiful, BUT that wind was just crazy 😳. Note to myself: not to go there during winter season! Glad you stayed behind that barrier. No wonder people die there! P.S. Oh, just noticed the drone footage wasn’t yours. They were beautiful though. They showed the real beauty of the cliffs.
When he bought it he said he'd probably soon lose it and have to get another. I would suggest he gets two cheap hats and keeps one in his coat pocket :D

My cap was blown off my head there too.... hilarious.... its even like this in the summer 😂
Hey do we need special drone permits to fly in the place? Im planning to be there next week. Cheers!
If you guys plan on touringDublin I could recommend some of the hidden gems that only locals know of because the locations aren't really advertised.

Is there a link to the listing of this place? It was very cute.
Ummmm how the freak did you get those amazing/smooth drone shots in that wind. Im pretty sure you're a magician! -Ash
Lol exactly what I was thinking! Some serious skills there!
it says in the details that the drone shots belong to someone else ... Adam Rose

Exactly what I was thinking. I think the Endless Adventure has access to NATO satellites 🛰
@Blackporsche roadster They gave credit to the maker of the drone shots, so that's obviously not plagiarism then ;)
These cliffs were The Cliffs of Insanity in The Princess Bride - one of my favourite films.
Daniel O'Donovan No wonder they named it that 🤣
OOH, Were They??? And Mine Too =D
No giants climbing ropes or pirates fighting Spaniards that day though...

@Blackporsche roadster wow Black you are some kind of special. Someone else asked about the drone also, so just chill.
All those veggies before you go to bed! Seems like the cliffs might not have been your only windy experience that day :).

can't believe your drone survived the blast. surely filmed on another day. like the addition of info slotted in, but not enough time to catch it...
Beautiful scenery, but definitely a bit scary! Say Eric...did you find your hat or buy a new one on the way to town?
What month were you there? Getting a perspective on weather vs best time for a visit. Surprised your drone was not blown away. Great shots.
what a rainbow!
We went to the CoM on 1/1/18...SAME windy weather...felt like the wind would pick us up and toss us into the Atlantic. lol
somewhere inland there is a fence to hang up hats.
Another thing for my bucket list - damn you Endless Adventure 😉
Oh how I miss those Irish crazy winds
Totally agree with the tiny roads. We r just used to them I suppose! Ha
I have seen there a guy, hands in the pockets, standing right on the edge, and bending to look the waves crashing 200 m behind... A nice way to have a new entry in the statistics.
VERY lovely . thank you both 👍
A poor lad fell off the cliffs only a couple of days ago. I'm glad ye were careful. Please be mindful of the edge lads.
“Some not so naughty Connect 4” Haha 😂 love it. Smart move staying inside the wall on the cliff and not doing it for the ‘gram
We avoid collisions on our tiny roads by driving at an appropriate speed Alison. Glad I wasn't coming round a bend towards you!!
Loved the Views!!!!!!!!!!!!

At 0:55 Alison commenting "these roads are so tiny"... whilst doing 1,000 mph LOL
I was thinking the same thing, she's going really fast!
Yeah we had several storms in December so ye picked ye'r time well
Alison....you're supposed to tootle down the country lanes!😄😉😆
She's all in red, you don't tootle in a red outfit, 😃
Shlibber Macshlibber 😂😂😂
@Blackporsche roadster I think the wide-angle lens exaggerates the actual speed. She should have driven like a local, "like she stole the car"!
That was fun, beautiful., and hilarious all at the same time. Had to laugh about explaining why u wore a dress... I’d LOVE to go to Ireland
Amazing rainbow :D
🙌Cork!, the Irish branch of the family are from Cork
