I got a couple boxes of these. Great looking stone and I understand the value is not different. But it will be harder to sell if it is not emerald. That is a stone people search for and they don't look for unknown green crystals in mica. Also for the people who believe in the energy stuff (90% of the market these days) this new stone will not have any information on what it does. Hopefully with some more research a name will pop up to make it a bit easier.

@@ToprockGemstonesandMinerals True, but a brand new unidentified and attractive mineral is also a good selling point. I bought quite a lot as I'm an Emerald Lover but it hasn't sold as much as I thought. Maybe this new angle can be a positive.
