Sometimes being a gooner is exactly the same. Feels familiar to get stick from other fans, but when say new castle play chelsea they play like barca and win you get to piss on them and the feeling when this season 4 of my "manu fan" friends turned out to be traitors to their club. Just take it i took it for the last 2-3 years that i have been a gunner. You are a great youtuber, and i like newcastle aswell
+MavAttack Actually he is not. I did a Vs video against him and he disappeared for several weeks in shame. Villa are the team to follow, 3 games unbeaten and only did not beat Vardy one man FC because refs helped Vardy the one man team fan boys with a goal that did not cross the line and then a daft penalty, and some dodgy throw ins. #VTID
I love it when people support their local team no matter how bad they are. Too many plastic foreign fans just pick massive clubs like Real or Barca instead of giving their local team a chance.
+manzilla48 Um... the only people that "pick" the big teams, are people that new to the sport(mostly Americans) and if they aren't new to football it's because they don't have a local team, so you can't blame all of them.
Best compliment I can say for NCW and its fans is the following Joke. I heard that Man City are preparing a 300 million bid for the Newcastle United fans .
I think newcastle is very similar to the club i felt in love with in my childhood: werder bremen. We won the bundesliga and the cup, played manny years in the champions league, had insane victories against real madrid and chelsea. But at the moment we are 16th and it will be very tough to stay in the first division, because of a lot of bad decisions and spending money on absolut bullshit. But i will always love this club, whatever happens.
My thoughts exactly that bit about Alan Shearer trying to save a already relegated side because of his sheer love of the club made hairs on my neck stand on end,Newcastle forever the best fans arguably in the world.
In my whole life I never saw fans such as those of NUFC they are loyal to their team no matter what happens. I’ve lived 5 years in Newcastle and they were the best of my time. God bless you Newcastle God bless the good heart Geordies and all the best for NUFC.
6:51 "Newcastle, we win a corner we go mental"....thats the difference between the sheer passion from fans of a one team city and the likes of Arsenal...I've been to the Emirates a few times and for the sheer size of it its lifeless, its like a giant library, but whenever i've gone to St Jame' Park there is literally nothing like it - the atmosphere gives me goosebumps.
+Bennyboy138 but you cant compare arsenal to newcastle really, first of all the emirates is in one of the if not the most popular tourist city in the world, and have the biggest stadium in london, so of course a large portion of fans are going to be tourists, who are more willing and able to spend more on tickets they are only paying for once then compared to a local who might go several times a season, which at current prices is quite ridiculous, even more so our fans are just as faithful and proud as anywhere else in the country, otherwise why would i tickets be so highly priced (highest in the world)and yet have one of the longest season ticket waiting lists, shows how loyal the faithful are, only problem is that too many corporate suits and tourists who want a burger and drink to chill then watch the footy are ruining the atmosphere, whereas up north that problem isnt really there as you dont have tourists anywhere near as much as down in london, so fans are more vocal and local, i.e old trafford
Its sad to see massive clubs like Newcastle United, Leeds, Parma FC, Nottingham Forrest etc battle for the premier league title to battling relegation.
Great video m8 !!...Millwall fan since 1962 and miss the terraces enormously ! Always had a soft spot for The Toon and vividly recall 60,000 capacity when you beat Upjest Dozia ( sp ) by 3/0 in 1969 to win the ( then ) Fairs Cup 9 later called UEFA Cup.)...Unbelievable they have not won anything since with that passionate support. Congratulations on your Promotion. Shame the Gallowgate isn't terracing anymore as THAT was THE atmosphere...
I'm a Arsenal fan and the reason there's a lack of atmosphere at the Emirates is because there's no real designated end in the ground where the best fans go to to sing. There is a corner at the North Bank where fans sing a bit but there's been zero effort from the club since we've moved to the Emirates to try and promote a good atmosphere with a proper end for fans who will sing all game. If you see the Arsenal away fans, they're quality, but it's so frustrating that we can't get all of those fans in one place when we're at home!
I agree! You get so many tourists spread out across the ground as well. I'm not saying I don't want tourists watching Arsenal, it's just that more often than not they won't sing or help try and create an atmosphere. What we need is an end for the regulars and those who will sing all game.
+James Patterson I'm afraid all Ive ever seen from Arsenal Away fans is the Sanchez song, after that they've shut up.. Also they don't sing for the whole game, hardly "quality"
Kinda reminded me of my childhood picking which college basketball team to root for. I picked the University of Pennsylvania, which at the time (early '70s) was a brilliant team. Had a lot of good times rooting for them. Alas, they completely went downhill and are now pretty much a total disaster. But dammit, they're still *MY* team even though they're awful. When you pick a team as a kid, it should be for life. So much respect for you.
Great video, I'm a Blackburn fan and Alan shearer is still my fave player of all time, when he played for Newcastle they became my second team. Love your vids mate keep up the good work!!
please make more why i love... videos.I just love listening to the unique stories, perspective, tradition and feeling the passion. I've watched all the ones available and would love to watch one for every premier league club.
My first Newcastle home game was a 0-0 with Bolton. That doesn't sound that good but it was Kevin Keegan's first game back in charge in 2008 and it was an honour to be there because of him. I didn't get to experience it first time round so it was really special when he came back as I thought it would never happen.
I reckon the true Geordie could fuck up every other FIFA or Football UA-camr easily, look at the size of the man. I could imagine him in a 6 VS 1 match against the sideman and leave unharmed #FuckingLoveIt
Awww poor old Sir Bobby I loved that man he had raw passion for football and a knowledge second to none I've never met one person say a bad word about the man I think he was loved by all. MCFC FAN
I am an American who has never been to England. However I am a massive Manchester city fan, and have been since the mid-late nineties. I know everything about the club, and even have a tattoo of the badge. If you guys are looking for someone to do a "why I love Manchester city" I would love to be your man.
I know exactly what you mean Geordie. Growing up in a football mad city (Manchester for me), you pretty much have to love football. It's everywhere, it's all some people talk about and I love it. I grew watching Fergie's later United teams (I'm 17) and they just inspire you and they shape your childhood. When I think back to my childhood, I'll think about my first trip to Old Trafford, taking the tour and lifting the 2006 Carling Cup which we'd just won against Wigan (and is the first trophy I was old enough to witness us win). I remember going to a match against Charlton and memories like that. Covering my eyes at home as John Terry stepped up to take the penalty that would have won Chelsea the Champions League. Them memories will stick with me. Now, it's painful supporting United but I stick by them, I complain a lot but I stick by them. Because I don't know a life without United.
thats so true about getting in a taxi in newcastle, i went over there about 2 weeks ago and got in alot of cabs and ever cab driver spoke to me the whole way about newcastle and blackburn
im an american and as an outsider to the premier league with no bias, Villa is dog shit without Benteke and Delph. the best is Arsenal AT THE MOMENT but City can get to the summit at anytime. Leicester wont last top plof the league but expect them to play UCL. and if they do expect Vardy and Mahrez to be sold. Chelsea and United are past their glory days. Liverpool are inconsistent. Spurs are Spurs

Great video Geordie, it's always good to see a non glory-hunting fan display their genuine love and passion for their team. Also at 1:30 you say thunderbolt but we all know what you really wanna say ;) haha keep those videos coming mate love it
I Respect Bobby Robson, both him and Kevin Keegan are my favoritemanagers Keegan bought Andy Cole, Les Ferdinand, and Alan Shearer . hopefully Benitez can lift the club to the 1993-2001 heights Again. Where Newcastle United should Always be .

I love it when people support their local team no matter how bad they are. Too many plastic foreign fans just pick massive clubs like Real or Barca instead of giving their local team a chance.
This ^^^^. Just like Geordie said in the video: 'you dont get a choice which football club you support'.
+manzilla48 Lol that's why I'm a Exeter City fan lol
+manzilla48 I am an Arsenal fan for my whole life and live near it now but before i lived in southern poland and in manchester so does it count?
+Sam Radwan oh shut up you comments deleting fucker.
+manzilla48 Um... the only people that "pick" the big teams, are people that new to the sport(mostly Americans) and if they aren't new to football it's because they don't have a local team, so you can't blame all of them.
Got to say True Geordie has really grown on me, love this dude.
Best compliment I can say for NCW and its fans is the following Joke.
I heard that Man City are preparing a 300 million bid for the Newcastle United fans .
Mate, we still have fans that actually stuck by the club, thick and thin before the take over. You're so boring.
Sorry but that wasn't really funny. Better luck next time
Man City have the 3rd best home attendance this season?
+AngryTech I know fans that supported City since '62.
Old joke now mate, every true English football fan (apart from United fans) know that city had amazing fans even when we was in the championship.
I think newcastle is very similar to the club i felt in love with in my childhood: werder bremen. We won the bundesliga and the cup, played manny years in the champions league, had insane victories against real madrid and chelsea. As a Newcastle fan, this is such a true video

The Emirates is a library.
Harry Kane has an extra chromosome
+Harry Kane An White Hart Lane is a toilet
+James Anderson how is he bigger than Arsenal? His biggest achievement is 2 goals v Chelsea ffs
***** Kane cleans Giroud's boots
+Legitimate Gooner Harry Kane is a far better all round player at 22 than Giroud at 29!

Hmmm not sure that i believe you if i'm honest and you can't really generalise a set of fans from one match, but alright mate

Do think the emirates would have a better atmosphere if they had cheaper tickets, get some proper rough yard dogs in the ground.
Been waiting for this for so long!
