We moved to Malaysia / We left New York City

We left New York City 1 month ago and moved to Kuala Lumpur. Mark got a job offer we couldn't refuse, and I left my job as an ER Nurse in NYC. Follow along as we explore this beautiful country. It will mostly be me (Sheila) uploading to this channel as Mark will have a full time job.
Now that I have free time, I can dedicate more time creating videos about Malaysia, and some videos shot last year of our visit to Philippines and our life in New York, USA.

Hi. welcome. Just fyi, malaysia is made up of 13 states and one federal territory known as KL (no ruler, no chief minister). 9 of the states were actually a kingdom of its own centuries ago, during british invasion all were combined to become a federation. The east part of Malaysia came later in 1963, of which both were also an autonomy on its own.
Singapore was also a part of Malaysia back then with malay majorities living in the island.
Chinese and Indians came later either as traders or labourers and.decided to make the same land.as their home and we are all now known as Malaysians. Together we created this unique diversities of food, religion and culture and contribute to the good wealth of the country.
Malaysia also has many foreigners working in the lower end sectors either from Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Philliphines, Vietnam and Thailand.
