Four Purls is such a wonderful store, and I adore Emma's Yarn. Also, I run the Crochet Club at our local high school, and Four Purls has been wonderful with donations to help young people learn crafting.
I LOVE Four Purls! It's my long distance LYS and I was so excited to watch this!! Such a great tour and Nataly and Kent you do an awesome job with questions and productions. Thank you for taking us along.❤
I visited Four Purls last year and it is FABULOUS. I was overwhelmed with the volume, and variety of yarns. The way the yarns are laid out was so helpful. Choosing the yarn I wanted was the hardest part, because I WANTED IT ALL. I actually just made a sweater with Emma's DK Foxy Lady that Katrina is wearing. I bought a LOT of yarn and the staff was so nice. They even ran across the street to the dye studio look to see if there was more of one yarn color I wanted. I love this place. I lived in Winter Haven in the early 70s and wanted to come back 1) to visit Four Purls and 2) visit my old home there. A visit to the shop was the highlight of my trip. Thank you, ladies, for all your help.
I enjoyed the episode and learning the history of Four Purl’s and connection to Emma’s Yarn. Thank you ❤ I love Emma’s yarn and have knit many shawls using the Slub and Mo Slub yarn kits displayed during the interview. Laura Dobratz Shawl patterns are so easy to follow. Every time I visit my LYS, I leave with an Emma’s Yarn kit to make one of Laura’s shawls.
My favorite Emma's Yarn colorway is Jackie 'O. Its like my perfect neutral and I've lost count how many times I've bought and used that color! I also adore Shut the Front Door! I used that on the suri base for a recent winter accessory and its the best. Thanks for the wonderful yarn store tour!
I had no idea Emma’s Yarn was Four Purls! I just moved to the Orlando area and I wanted to visit for awhile. I was looking for local yarns but didn’t know the two were together! Thanks for sharing!
Besides for all the obvious “oohs and aahhs ,” my favorite part of this episode is: Natalie-“Should I get more?” Kent-“Yeah” 😂 Such a supportive husband!
Thank you so much for this episode, Natalie! My husband gave me a gift certificate for Four Purls shop and this makes me really excited to shop. Of course as much as I would love to shop in person it will be online since I live in Texas😊. Thanks again for the great episode❤
So excited to have found your beautiful shop through a You Tube video. I’m in awe; all those gorgeous colors I want one of each. I just moved from Clearwater to Wesley Chapel. Once I’m more settled I’m going to come and visit ❤❤❤gayle
Love this shop vlog. I laughed at the end of it when I heard Kent say "no" when you asked "should I get more?". I also love the wall of mini hanks. While you were choosing yours my thought was, I want one of each and make a blanket.😊 Take care and thanks for sharing.
So beautiful! Hearing the owner talk about the Florida lake system really makes me wish I could come out! The yarn all has that breezy and beautiful semi-tropical vibe
Thank you Natalie and Kent for another great yarn shop tour and love hearing how the business got started and that the whole family is involved. Love seeing all that beautiful yarn. So jealous. We don't have any store like that here in Perth, Western Australia. Hope you brought many beautiful yarns Natalie. I can see it would have been hard to choose which ones.
Love a day trip to Four Purls. I was hoping they would give you a tour of the dye studio/shipping building like Eat Sleep knit. Emma's sock yarn is fabulous.
This is so cool! One of my first Emma's yarn that I purchased was Happily Ever After! I still haven't made anything with it yet, so suggestions would be appreciated! It is so pretty!!!
I love this yarn store, I’m lucky enough to live about an hour away and always make a stop when I’m in the area. It’s easy to get lost inside for along time exploring. They also sell Baby Suri which was not shown.
Love all the bright colors. I just finished a stripped cowl with Argyles Luminous Brooklyn in colors Beachcomber which is variegated bright blue, and I added Hotspot which is purple. I haven't tried it on yet as I'm blocking it. Going to make a matching stripped hat. I made the cowl using Purl Soho Giverny Cowl and Purls Inside Out Hat patterns. Wow those bags are so nice, I haven't seen any bags like that in NYC or Brooklyn. I know what the owner means. I'm an Artist, and have an idea for a sweater but, can't find a pattern for it. None of the yarn stores want to help me, they say go on Ravelry. I wan't a pullover with drop shoulders, boat neck. No ribbing just a cuff, at bottom of front and back, and sleeves. Someone could measure me to see how many stitches to cast on. I just finished a reversible cable cowl I designed, and also in long scarf.
Question: Is THIS store wheelchair friendly? My daughter works at Disney and lives in Winter Haven so I definitely would actually see myself shopping here if it’s possible for me! Thanks for any insight on this place.
This is in the town next to where my brother lives. I would love to visit /shop when I visit him, but it looks like it doesn’t have a “shop” to buy yarn? Are they just a supplier to other shops?
Hey! This is a yarn store! They carry a lot of Emma’s Yarn, but also other yarns too. And they have a big space to sit and hang out. Their dye studio is down the street, but we didn’t include it in this video!

Aww that is awesome! We had to cut out a little bit for time and didn’t have a good shot of the suri to share. The suri is lovely!

Yes, we have many shoppers who use wheelchairs :)
I’m just wondering why we didn’t meet Emma ???
This is in the town next to where my brother lives. I would love to visit /shop when I visit him, but it looks like it doesn’t have a “shop” to buy yarn? Are they just a supplier to other shops?

What is the sweater/top the owner is wearing (white with the blips of pink, gold in stripes)?
It's the Collins Tee :)
