this is an aestheticized agha shahid ali shorn of context and meaning. this depoliticised agha shahid might sound appealing to mainland indian ears but without a reference to the tragedy orchestrated by india in kashmir, his reading is incomplete.

And I have been longing to read his works ever since we read about him in our highschool
This is a complete misrepresentation of who Agha Shahid Ali is and his writings. One can have political inclinations/views which can be bitterly opposed to that of an author, but this should not mean that you exorcise the author out of his/her context and kill the ‘authorial intended meaning’. I don’t like the very many positions that Ali takes, but this doesn’t mean I will bestow my own prejudices on him or his writings when I am reading him.

Even good videos need attention to grow. So they are using their thumbnails to reach to as many as people. Their is nothing wrong so try to see it that way
@@Akash-jj8pi nothing wrong sure, but i believe so many people know Agha Shahid Ali, that if they had said it's about him. It would have gotten more hits. Also it kind of kills the interest rather than increasing it when you see vague titles and thumbnails
