I have used this directly over modelones brand polygel and then applied other brands of UV/LED gel polish and top coat and it worked fine. The only thing I did between polygel and ASP peelable was cleanse with alcohol. Idk about ten days because I don’t go that long but after several days there has been zero lifting. I did test to make sure it would peel on three nails before I committed and it was easy to peel. I also only bought the bottle by itself at Sally, not the entire kit.
I only bought the bottle. The kit the sales lady presented me was $60. No way
Thank you for sharing this, I just bout the bottle at sally too and got scared thinking I needed the binder and I couldn’t use my gels, this makes me feel much better😅
@@celesticforce2367 I hope it works for you!
Your video was so very helpful and ASP peelable base is a gamechanger. I've always liked gel nails but hated the removal process but with this product I'm doing my fingernails and toenails. No more waiting hours upon hours for my toenails to fully cure. I can't wait until I'm only going to a professional salon three to four times a year!
Do you have to cure the peelable or just wait for it to completely dry?
You didn’t mention curing the base coat - is that correct? Thanks
You don't have to cure the base coat :)
I actually like this peelable base coat better than the UNT peelable base coat. For me, the UNT base coat dissolves too fast in warm water and I always loose a few nails in the shower. This base coat works well with all brands!
You should try the Madam Glam peel off gel basecoat, it works with all the gels I use (it also works with reg polish but it’s a little more stubborn to peel off) . And it comes off nice and clean in a few days with a little help from an orange stick.
I didn't know MG made one. I love the MG gels. That's awesome, and I need to order some. Thanks!
Will do!!
Jen Roberts Thanks, I just placed my order.
Jen, how long does a mani last with that base?
Curious should I cure/let the base coat dry if I want to apply regular polish?
Exactly what I was wondering
I have acrylic nails that I finish off with a gel top coat (to protect the acrylics) so I can easily change my non-gel polish. Could I apply the peel base coat over the gel top coat so I can go back to using gel polish without ruining my acrylics??
So if you don't have to cure it how long does it take to dry or it doesn't have to dry
Studio 54 is one of my favorite colors! 😍
Can the peelable base coat be used with any gel polish?
Marie Hawkins *following* Same question
You have to test before to see if the formula is compatible first. But yes you can :).
Great instructions and perfect video 👍🤗💕
Watched this video even though I'm allergic to gel polish. Just love your video.
How long for the peel base to dry?
Didnt peel off. Had to really scrape and ended up using acetone remover. Blew $11 in Sally's 😭
That’s great it’s peelable but will it actually hold up 12 days like you said cause that’s the real test and question, you trying to sale us a product but don’t actually put it to the 12 day test to show us it stays on that long before you peel it off, I wouldn’t invest money in this product without seeing a wear test
This video was specifically to show a how to of this product and kit. I have personally tested this for about 10 days and it was still going strong. I can be hard on my nails because I work a lot with my hands, wash dishes, edit all day, etc. Of course, everyone is different and sometimes people can have different experiences with products. Someone I knew had a certain polish brand chip fast, while it did not happen to me. But from my experience, I really enjoyed this product and would use it! Thanks for watching :)
Nobody trying to sell your broke azz anything. Read.
I bought this today. I’m going to try it with poly gel. Wish me luck lol.
What if you do french tips? How would you clean up any mistakes with the white polish on top of the base without removing the base?
Maybe you could add a top coat on the base and cure it, so after that you can fiddle with the white, and the base is secure under the top coat?
2nd! I have been waiting for this! Love ur vids Hannah!
thanks so much for watching!!
Yaaasss I’ve been looking for this for so long !! I really need this thank you so much ily!!❤️💚💙💄
Ps first view first like and first comment!!!
of course!!
Btw, you should do a review on le mini macaron!
that one is SO cute, i just might!
Did that peel off base coat peel any of you nail with it?
Not that I could see! I've always been a little scared to try gel nails because I didn't want any damage (due to improper removal) so this product is great for me!
Do you not cure the peelable base coat?
Nope! :)
I watched another UA-camr review it and she said that it doesn't need to be cured at all, it air dries.
@@hannahroxnailsI was curious though, can it be used with normal nail polish, or only Gel Polish?
TFS This looks like a great thing!
Has anyone tried this with regular nail polish? I haven't had luck with Unt peel off base coat, it peels off too easily.
I am not really into gels nail polish I am old school and like regular old nail polish
Then bye, Felicia!
Waste of money NO
be easier to use nail polish
LOL why did she feel it was necessary to tag the image? 2:13 its not the most creative nail design out there on the web nor is it new design.
who was gonna steal this look = the 18 century?. some cultures /countries are out of control with their copyright pursuit. its not that serious.
i came to this video trying to find a cheap alternative to another peeol off base coat - only available in Korea
Because I like to try and prevent people from using my photos to sell their own product without my permission like on Amazon or Wish. Happens all the time unfortunately
Come on Sis are you for real right now?? I hope you really open your mind and listen to what I'm about to say that People like you and channels like yours are the reason people don't trust youtubers anymore. This entire video was about random gel application- you spent 2 seconds taking it off,
when the real test of a peel off base coat is all about the removal process!.
You didn't say one thing about how it's supposed to last 12 days.
you didn't do any kind of test on that 12 days. And if you look at other videos on here.. REAL REVIEW videos, where people actually care about The content they're putting out there and not just worried about getting views and sponsorships; you'll see that they all said the product is crap. I was dumb enough to go buy this product b4 reading reviews and I literally had to soak it in acetone like any other removal process in order for it to work. so then I come on here and I see you just straight up lying to people. Like don't you care about integrity and honesty??? If a company sends you a Product try it out and give YOUR audience a REAL, fair and impartial review! don't just be fake! Like gross.
I haven't checked out other reviews but I did recently use this with other gel brands like CND and polygel and it helped me remove the gel without having to soak for ages! I appreciate your passion but my intent is nothing how you assume. As a UA-camr, I'm always learning and am not a perfect person but do try my best. My experience with this product was actually a good one. Maybe that's just me? I'm not sure. But again, thanks for your comment and watching! I'm always trying to better myself :)
True, I've used it 3 times. Followed everything and even though it stayed on for 9 days it would not peel like the video. Had to soak them 3 times at 7 min each. Of course it took almost 40 min process. Soak, carefully use the wood stick and soak again. The VERY FIRST time I did it INCORRECTLY and after 7 or 8 days I used acetone for 4 min and the polish just peeled right off! Ihavr a video and I WAS THRILLED!!!! I couldn't believe it!! Then realized I was not following the steps Correctly. I then started from square one and 3 times later it never worked :((((. I wish I would know how I messed up the first time :( I will try again with the incorrect way I did like the 1st time and hopefully I remember. Not sure if I did
Bond, Cure, Peelable, Cure, Polish, Cure, Polish, Cure, Topcoat, Cure. OR PEELABLE, Cure, Bond, Cure, Polish, Cure, Polish, Cure, Topcoat, Cure. 🤦♀️ This is so frustrating.
@@julietwilliams7020 you are not supposed to cure the peelable base coat
@@monicaramos4451 Yep, you're also not supposed to cure the bonder.
I used it for a pedicure and it popped right off after about 2 weeks like the video. They do say the layer of ASP has to be thick.
