It was a much smaller community then and since then the community has grown so much. I see so many new comic book collectors with amazing collections. This is our chance to share what we have. This can be your top keys, your favorite comic books or the top comics based on value. Whatever you want to do there are no rules except to tag channels. This should be a fun video.

Hey Alex I thought I would bring this up this is Bob in Connecticut it’s about 9 o’clock I’m watching the New York Yankee game. I told you I have an amazing fantasy 15 6.0 which is only a $70,000 comic book which I bought for $4000 about 10 years ago. It was on UA-cam that a 6.0 just sold for $96,000😳😳😳😳😳

Yeah, I have the list with the prices. I mentioned the paid prices for a few, but I agree with you. That would have made it really interesting. BTW I went to Millikan for 1 semester until my girlfriend at the time slept with a bunch of football players.... then I was like by Decatur.

Great books, you have several on my want list. I made a Top 50 video about a year ago, maybe it is time for another.
It’s funny, I’ve done 4 top 50 videos and each is so stinking different.
4.0 on the old rare expensive stuff is a sweet spot to me. High enough grade that it looks good, usually no major crease or tears that takes away from the quality of the image. But low enough grade that you can possible still afford them.

I love your comment when holding up the Fantastic Four #49 of classic stories and art by Jack “King” Kirby and Stan “The Man” Lee. Those FF books from that time are simply fantastic. Just wish I had one for my collection.

Grrrrr I don't think I even have one comic in my collection that could even break into your Top 50 (given that the vast bulk only come from the Bronze Age). An exception might be my Weird Science Fantasy #29 (Frazetta cover, but only a 4.5).

@@AlextheComicHoarder It really is insanity. I'm upset I didn't jump on a FF48 and 49 when I did. But I'm glad I at least scored an xmen 266 and asm 316 last year. I couldn't afford them now.
Showcase #4 is my grail , currently doing a flash run , it will be hard 😂

My favorite book is ASM 129, im surprised it didnt make your top 50- But im jealous of a few of these, good work!
I owned that book once before, but I do not currently own a copy. I was working a deal to buy an 8.0 from an old UA-camr about 2 years ago that fell through. He turned out to be a scammer, so I’m glad I didn’t ever send him money.

Great video sir! Piggy backing off your uncanny x-men 266 story. When x-men animated series came out it got me hooked on the x-men I was 14. And started reading and collecting comics and dived in head first.well my LCC had short box’s on a table with x-men comics tied into the series. Once of which was a short box full of hulk 181’s for only 150.00!!!!!!!! each I saved up all summer to get me a copy which I got graded years later and came back a 7.0 and all picked up a x-men 266 for 30.00 I got graded years later came back as a 9.2

These are some really cool comics. I just got into collecting last year, all of which are bronze, copper, and modern. However, just today I bought my first silver age comic, Fantastic Four #87. Can’t wait to see more cool vids!

Last two books I bought at age 15 in the first phase of my collecting career were giant size X-Men, May 1975, and X-men 94 August 1975. Stopped collecting after that and sold my collection to pay for car insurance, if I was ever going to drive! LOL
Nice haul mate, just wondering why does everyone keep saying that X-Men annual 14 is a cameo? Gambits name is said and he appears about 13 times. This should be called a first full app or Gambit app, not a cameo!
I have, checks notes, 1 of those (a Giant Size XMen 1). Great collection!
Question for you. Do you think any of the books that you picked up in your recent Silver Age Collection pick up will make it's way onto your Top 50? I know that it's somewhat dependent on what grades they come back as, but there were some nice books in there.
Holy smokes! I had never heard of this channel before, but this video popped up on my recommended feed and I got curious. I did NOT expect to hear my local comic store name dropped. What a crazy random happenstance! I normally shop at the SoCo location but I shoot up to the Olive store here and there to pick up something SoCo was sold out of. How wild!

hind sight is 20 20 but looking back xmen 1 lagged all the other major keys, it comes as no surprised its growing so quickly to me as normal markets do. bummed i didnt get one when i had the chance.

@@swpdisciple there is a guy who I know from church that got a bunch of comics from his uncle. He likes them, but isn’t a comic collector. I know he has an X-men 1 in there…. Oh man I want to get it.

i regret selling my xmen #1 in 2015 for $2k. i sold it with a conservative grade of 1.5. the buyer got it graded and it turned out to be 3.5 and he resold it for twice as much.
