Literally sitting here watching your video on the GLF to see what you think of it. Bought 2 of them 2.5 years ago and haven't used my 6'6" till the other day. I keep em stored upstairs indoors in my media room where they NEVER get touched and keep rod protectors on them to keep sun passing through the windows off of the line mainly. Shattered guide at the tip lost a pretty good fish on its maiden voyage the other day. I couldn't figure out why my braid kept getting cut off till I got home and could look at it under magnification. Yeesh
He thanks for watching I appreciate it. After more fishing with them I did notice they saved money by using sub par guides so the ceramic insert can chip and cut the line. The tough part is back then I believe these rods were $89 which for that price was good but now they are like $100. At that price I would save and bump it to the Fenwick HMG they have a better warranty and I think it’s a little better product now
I lowkey liked this rod the price and action is perfect for all my inshore needs, unfortunatley i snapped mine flipping a slot red into my yak, luckily academy replaced it no questions asked and they always have it in stock. I like it more than my mojo inshore

I usually wear a large its a great company love their baits for trout and redfish inshore I don’t bass fish enough but they look awesome as well
If you were to be using this rod for popping cork fishing with a shrimp on the Louisiana coast, would you go medium light or medium? And do you think the rod would work good for this technique? Thanks
Well that’s a good question because our average redfish is like 20 inches so if you catch them much bigger than that I’d probably say medium. Hope this helps thanks for the comment. Take the time to subscribe getting more content out there soon!!!
