    Im a 70 year old woman, from Canada. In late April, early May I plan to start my backpacking trip to europe so this was helpful. thank you. I've done short 2 week trips to the UK 5 times in 10 years, staying at hostels. This will be a longer and farther version of that. Typically I schedule every hour lol, primarily to pre-book and pay for everything so I can control the exchange rate. I've vowed to do this trip truly with no prior real plan, just a general route. from merrakesh through spain to italy, northern europe, then over to the UK for a while. the excitement is building. Im retired so I can take as long as I want lol.

    Listen!!. Exploring new countries is such a rewarding experience! For first-time travelers, I'd recommend considering destinations that offer a mix of cultural richness and natural beauty. Personally, I've been fortunate to travel to over 10 countries thanks to careful budgeting and smart investments.I wasnt financial free until my 30’s and I’m still in my 30’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 2 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future.

      Alright Phyllis, speaking in general terms, investing requires a good amount of knowledge. That's why it's essential to have a solid support system like a financial counselor, especially when picking out assets. I've been working with Regina Louise Collaro, who is an investment advisor at a registered wealth management company. I can't recommend her enough; my financial journey has been fantastic thanks to her. She's quite well-known for her services, and she helped me achieve financial stability through investments. Now, I benefit from her passive income strategies every month. So, I'd strongly suggest finding a reliable investment advisor for yourself..

I've been able to feed and make a living through her advice and great work. For such a person as Regina, I owe her gratitude, support and endless prayers as it is not easy to gain access to such a competent and reliable adviser. Who isn't just wise but has all it takes to handle an investment and is good at what she does.

    Girl, I don't know who does your subtitles, but they are are often wrong...Especially when you're talking about names/brands it is especially helpful when at least the names are right, so people can look it up.
    Hostile environment = Hostel environment (which is not hostile at all!!)
    Flex bus = Flixbus
    Oatmeal = Omio
    Trans systems = tram systems
    Off spray bag = Osprey bag
    P.S. Europe actually IS great for just a carry-on suitcase. Especially since most of you will visit cities. Even when hiking, those are mostly day hikes, so you leave your stuff at the hostel and take just a small day pack. We have good pavement everywhere and amazing public transport! And yes, most hostels might not have a locker big enough, with a lock-with-cable you can just lock the suitcase onto your bed. Theft in hostels is really rare, we're all there with the same mindset. I've been traveling around Europe like that for over 10 years. I guess it's just personal; you want to roll your stuff easily or carry it all on your back?

    I feel like one thing I was surprised at was how much hostels costed during the summer!!! I know I some parts or the world or like Europe off season hostels are like dirt cheap like $10-25 or even less, but when I was looking in France/Amsterdam and other cities in Western Europe for this summer literally every single hostel was in the $50-80 range. Just something to keep in mind for budgeting because I was shook.

      It definitely depends on the cities you’re in too! If you’re going to any capital city 50€ is unfortunately pretty normal- I remember I hated having to book those nights bc it felt like so much

      Italia, france and The Netherlands are the most expensive country's looking at hostel prices in summer. Especially in the big cities.

    What about for seat reservations with the Eurail pass? Approximately how much was it each time? Did you have to book one all the time?

      Yes I booked one at a time about 3-4 days before I needed the train!
