Yo im tired of being ignored by people who i find cool like idols i guess and i wanna be a hardcore gamer with balancing and outside life can you help me
For the people that haven’t started yet, please read this. If you’re planning on starting I highly recommend to not tell anyone yet, trust me they will definitely not believe in you, I have done this with some other stuff and even my best friends brought me down. I told them only when I gained a few hundred subscribers as they couldn’t talk me down at that point. Point is, don’t tell anyone before you see a little bit of success. Wish you the best of luck.
Hey, that is exactly my plan of action. I don't want others to sabotage me, like they did in my past pursuits. I am working on my future channel in secret. I plan the first video to be there in a week.
I just started as well and hoping to become a successful UA-camr like all of you. Thank you for always giving us newbies courage. We appreciate your knowledge.
I want to start a UA-cam channel because of the passion I've since I was a small kid. So many huge UA-camrs helped me through difficult times, made me laugh, made my day just a little bit better. I want to be like that for the next generation of young kids to brighten their futures and horizons.
ok ill give you some tips and its up to you if you want to listen to me or not, i might be late as well since u commented this about 8 months ago but the major success in youtube is litteraly your passion, you need to be humble and down to earth, dont play a character and also use out of pocket humour to grab peoples attention,as you can see from my channel it got to about 600 subs but i stopped because of school and to be honest i shouldnt have stopped, remember as well quality is better then quantity.
Well you have come to the wrong place. IMPROVE is the key word. No One wants to venture what knowledge /skills you should have BEFORE you begin, only that you will skink.... sort of like I will be a bad driver if I do not take any driving lessons.
So what I've got from this video: Think about your content, do title and thumbnail first, don't expect too much at the beginning, don't give up, build up a nice community and have fun and do it because you like it and not for the fame you could have some day
Quitting is not an option... Consistency leads to perfection... The most subscribed to channel started with 1 subscriber... It's just a matter of time..
It's so refreshing to see the positive side of UA-cam for once :) especially in the comments section. It's great to see so many wonderful and supportive comments. Like everyone's saying, don't give up, keep going. As long as you love what you're doing, you're happy, that's really all that matters, right. Thanks everyone! :D
Even though I already started one the reason I started it was for my mental health. The sense of accomplishment I get from editing and just posting a video is helping move forward in the real world.
Never give up on UA-cam!! I did UA-cam for 4 years before I saw some success. I hopped around channels from 2016-2020, posting probably over 300 videos. The most popular one had 70k views but the 2nd most popular had 400 views, meaning that the popular video was a 1-hit-wonder because it was called "TV Screen Transition" and got a CTR of like 18%. After posting on this channel from 2020-2022, I finally beat the shorts algorithm and learned how it works. I peaked with 2,800 subscribers in a week, which is insane in itself, but right now I just quadrupled my best. I have gained 12,000 subscribers in the last week.
Whoever is reading DONT give up on your channel. Think about all the hard work that you have already put in. Every youtuber was once in your spot they just kept going. Stay consistent and you will reach your goals. consistent uploads and improvement and some determination is all you need! I am going for 350 subs by the end of December!!!
yes bro I'm making videos since 2019 but i still got only 200+ subscribers. I wont give up I'm still making videos and I will. I am using a new trick by my experience. Never Give keep doing what you are doing.
Great tips! The only thing I’d point out is that some channel/content formats don’t really make it possible to do thumbnails/titles ahead of time (let’s plays, other live emergent/unscripted content). For example: you know you’re going to do a video (or multiple) on an event like a convention, you might have an idea of what companies will be there but cool stuff might just pop up and you go with it. What I would say is to NOT FORGET to make the thumbnail creation process part of your workflow and something you think about WHILE making the video (as in, look for stuff that would make for a good thumbnail before ending the record session fully so you don’t have to search through and try and find a clear, well framed shot to serve this purpose as a bandaid solution at the end).
It's so difficult to stay motivated sometimes. To everyone leaving messages to others telling them not to give up - thank you. No one understands how difficult it is to have a successful UA-cam channel until you actually try to have one!
I started my channel because I enjoy sharing knowledge and building community… So far, it’s been great! I’ve met a lot of other guitar players with common interest, shared some knowledge, gained some knowledge, and have become a better guitar player… Thanks for the help along the way 👍
Iv just started a UA-cam channel to follow along my journey from a beginner runner, to follow along my progress, iv seen many videos that show here’s my amazing transformation, in one video but I want to show my progression in real time essentially. The ups and downs you have along the way, not just a 5-10 minute video of the highlights of the journey.
💯💥Absolutely essential advice! This video should be mandatory viewing for anyone even thinking about starting a UA-cam channel. It's easy to underestimate the amount of work and dedication required, but your insights on content planning, niche selection, and the importance of persistence are spot-on. Thanks for the reality check and motivation to approach UA-cam with the right mindset. And hey, if any of you know some cool tools to boost growth on UA-cam, drop a reply!
I was struggling to answer "Why should I make videos if there are tons of creators out there" and that last message answered it. Now, I'm going to go full blast on making my channel, Thank you for making this video!
You nailed it! The Creators who have survived the initial 4-6 months have experienced - or are experiencing - exactly what you say. After nearly 70 videos, I can't even bear to watch my initial stuff. For the Creators out there who are hanging on like me - just remember - the key to win a Marathon is to keep on going, and NEVER slow down or stop creating your content. Cheers.
Great advice and I needed to read this! As a UA-camr just starting out it is so hard waking up to no views or subscribers 😢 Patience and hard work will pay off 😊
I couldn't agree more! I just very recently started thinking of thumbnails and titles before even starting in on the script writing and recording and it has made a huge difference.
Being youtuber is a tough game. It requires a lot of persistency, hard work and patience along the way. Oh, and let's not forget Famester which makes the whole thing a lot easier.
we started our UA-cam channel because, when we first started watching, we were both fairly introverted. Joining the channels communities made a huge impact on our lives, even if it was just hanging out and watching them game. That's what our ultimate goal is, to create a community in which everyone can feel as if they have a group of friends and allies to hang out and chat with
I want to start a UA-cam channel for three main reasons. 1. To share my passions, and provide entertainment in some way. 2. Have a new hobby and grow on it hopefully to make it a business. 3. To make money later on as it grows and even start a merchandise with product promotion. I already have made a channel and posted a video I just would like more advice on how to plan my journey.
I want to start a youtube channel because, I want to bring the same joy I get when I watch some of my favorite creators content. I want to be able to be the reason someones bad day becomes just a bit better. I myself have struggled with depression and other mental disorders and some things that would take my mind off the horrible things I've thought would be opening UA-cam and seeing one of my favorite creators have posted a new video.
I started my UA-cam channel not for subscribers, not for success, not for money; I started my UA-cam because I genuinely love doing it! It's what gets me motivated! It makes me excited to my core! My advice to anyone is: START A CHANNEL BECAUSE YOU LOVE DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING!
I just started YT about 3 or 4 weeks ago and my mission was to put a smile onto peoples face and create content that I enjoyed watching myself. Honestly a lot of what you were saying in this video hit me (in a good way) because, these were the type of mindset I had towards my YT channel for example creating my Thumbnails and Title after I created my video. This especially hit my since I just graduated and the pressure to do what my family wanted me to do which was go to the military even though I my heart was set to going to the military. But I honestly creating and building my UA-cam channel has brought so much joy.Even though I struggle and have stayed up till 3 in the morning trying to create a video that I think people will enjoy. But I started watching your content right before I started UA-cam and it has given me a lot of in-site in what I can fix and what type of mindset I need to have and I Thank you for always helping and giving Information to help smaller or inexperienced UA-cam like myself and I wish you the best of luck for the future 😁
Omg! You earned 17 subscribers in 3-4 weeks! You are growing way way faster than me in my 2 years, I got 87 subscribers! Your more successful than most youtube starters, well done!
@@egeisapro Thanks but, there are a lot of things I need to improve to see overall growth in Editing and content if I want to see more viewers and subscriber.
So about a month ago? Well, best of luck to you buddy and hopefully you stay consistent with your content. I just started mine about 2 weeks ago (4 vids, 1 short) so far. Not my first channel though. I stopped for years and figured just start over and try again. Only 3 so far, but the skies the limit. Apparently the yt shorts can really make a difference, although I kinda wish they didn't even exist on yt, lol. Anyways, here's hoping you keep with it and that your content puts a smile on everyone face, including yourself.
@@puffydoh thanks For my next video im thinking about just telling my audience about myself and how my life is, etc. And I also wish you the best of luck on your YT journey.
To everyone reading this, starting a UA-cam channel can be challenging, but don't give up. Keep pushing forward, stay dedicated, and watch your channel soar. You've got this! 🔥
My reason? I just love to share. I was a Learning and Development Specialist in Insurance and Supervisor skills before I semi retired - this is now me having fun sharing much lighter topics that I now have so much time for. I prefer helping others, sharing knowledge, even my failures, than I do selling the things I create
I started my channel 12 years ago but didn't do anything with it until now. I want to create a community for creatives where we can encourage & inspire each other. I feel creativity and the 'arts' need an injection of authenticity & honesty. Social Media & influencers have made everything so copy, paste & fake. That's not to say that social media doesn't serve its purpose, I just feel like for creatives, we're caught on HAVING to make THE NEXT TRENDY THING or we will not be able to survive.
I needed to hear this because I’m feeling discouraged with my UA-cam channel right now. But I’m not giving up and getting ready to make another video! 😊
Thanks for all you do, Rob! You're so right... I've put more time and effort into UA-cam than anything I've ever done in my life... By a very wide margin! And I've started 2 previous businesses that are still doing well today. This eclipses them both... Combined! It's sooo worth it, too.
Another helpful video as always! I started my channel over a year ago, but the goal of my channel is to share evidence based pet care advice to help combat the ocean of misinformation about pets and their care ☺️
I wanted to start a UA-cam channel through having a sudden interest which gave me a eureka moment where I can create content with my siblings. I wanted to have a platform to show an everyday life of siblings getting along with one another and having some laughs. Aside from that I will admit that I wanted to create a channel to help with our financial struggles and to also help my siblings do great one their own once we build ourselves enough to become solo creators while still working as a trio.
Honestly this channel is a godsend. Been more actively taking the advice from the videos, specifically focusing on one topic mainly (film edits / parodies) to try and target a niche and I've noticed a massive increase in views (28k last 28 days). Thank you for continuing to make helpful and actionable videos
I needed this to reaffirm why I am doing this. Yes I have long term goals but to remind me I am doing this for the main reason. Because it’s what I enjoy.
Pretty solid take overall. I personally don't have a single family member or friend in the know of my channel, keeping it 100 percent on the down low. However, I look forward to the day I get the, "is that you on youtube?" I just took my passion, not my job and ran with it. I'm learning every single day and this is likely the best part of it all. Don't chase money, it's highly unlikely, especially straight out of the gates. Have fun, learn alot and try your best to be patient.....
I wish this video was available before I started my UA-cam journey. There are so much value packed into this short video! UA-cam education is never complete. Thanks for another fantastic video, Rob! 😎👍🔥
Started my UA-cam channel Couple days ago and I'm on the stage of figuring out how would I impact my audience and have them click the subscribe button because they like and loved the content and not because I told them.
I love the way you explain things and talk , it's fast and at the same time you have your pause and the content you put out there is valuable , you analyse thing in a whole new way . there is your why .
I started a UA-cam channel as another way to convey information to our community. Being a niche inside a niche, growth is slow and money is scarce but that's not the goal anyway. Our commitment towards our community and provide a good service is our goal. I wish we had more time to do a few more videos, though.
It defo isn't easy, but whenever I can. The reason I started a youtube channel is mainly because of two things. I love making videos/editing them ever since I was young and because of my current situation things have been really hard so i'm hoping to generate some income if possible so I could help my mom and dad as well. So back then I would only get 2 hours to use the computer with the internet on and whenever there was no internet I would mess around with windows player and and make videos of whatever I can, there was no free software to record back then, I had to use Hypercam or fraps and then I just sort of left it.. so now i'm back at it and trying to do my best to make videos of the games I like and just improve on the mistakes I do.
I'm my mind there are two main reasons for the channel I'm starting by the end of summer. I'd like to share with others how using VR for exercise and fitness works and that it can be an effective fitness tool, especially for people that don't like regular exercise. Also how using VR for exercise sparked an interest in other exercise activities for me. People generally don't believe VR can be used for effective exercise. That VR is only for entertainment or maybe work. I intend to change that perception. By doing so I'm hoping the channel will encourage people to try it for themselves. The other reason, which is unashamedly a selfish one, is that I'm hoping that by going public with my fitness journey the pressure will be on to continue hopefully succeed in getting fit and healthy. The channel will most likely be called "Gentle Berserker". In addition to the fitness perspective it will also feature other VR activities, mainly gaming. Some regular flat screen gaming will probably also make guest appearances.
My personal experience as a creator has proven to me that you need to work hard, stay dedicated and engage with your community, another great thing is to network, find a community of people who have a similar interest, good luck to everyone on their journey :)
Mainly wanted to start youtubing for fun but now have a huge list of reasons to do so, expanding from supporting my family to donating and changing the world around me for the better.
Something I’d like to add is spending all that money isn’t *required* for growing on YT I got to 10k without spending a dime on YT, I used free editing software, the phone mic, etc My point is that all of the fancy stuff isn’t what people watch for, it’s the content
People should make videos they enjoy making and not create a channel just to try to be a successful YTer. For some channels, it only take months to gain popularity, while for others, you could have a channel for years and still be a small channel. It’s best to start YT as a hobby and not try to make it your sole career/source of income. You can always reevaluate as your channel grows. And it it stays small, in the end that’s okay too. Even if you make one other person’s day brighter/inspire one person, it still counts.
I think you gain what you aim for. If you want to play small, you always be small. If you want to go bigger, you will get there as well! I agree with diversify souces of income, it's a smart strategy in all fields!
The best advice I could give is to have fun and make videos for fun! You can't be disappointed if you're enjoying the process. People will find your content soon. It just takes time!
The best advice, is DON'T GIVE UP! Even if you grow very slowly like me, the growth is still THERE. It doesn't have to be fast, but any growth is good growth. Keep striving you creators of the universe!
I’m glad that I found the courage to just start making videos. It was hard talking to a camera at first but I’m getting more comfortable. I appreciate this channel because it has helped encourage me to keep trying even on days when I feel like I’m not good enough. Thank you for what you do! It’s good to know I’m not alone.
That's so true, and I wholeheartedly agree with every word you're saying. I've just started my journey and I want to express my gratitude to all of you for reminding me not to give up and for reminding me that we all start somewhere.
As a new creator, your advice about dealing with toxic people really helps a lot. Thanks so much! I've always been an anxious person, so putting myself out on the web is so terrifying. But I do believe that we grow as people when we do things outside of our comfort zone.
I started a channel because I wanted to demystify seemingly difficult cooking techniques for everyday home cooks. Making late night snacks allows me to be more experimental in my cooking, as I'm just cooking for me, not my family. As a result I'm much more adventurous. During conversations people seemed excited about my late night cooking adventures so I thought there might be a wider interest. That and I needed a new creative outlet.
Having begun restoring an old bedford truck, my family and I are always videoing the slow progress and process, so, posting on youtube was primarily another level. Making money to support the ongoing higher than anticipated costs became a very real option. Being a boomer makes it more difficult to navigate.
I grew up watching UA-cam and when I was younger my parents got a divorce and it was a very hard time in my life but watching the people I did on UA-cam keep a smile on my face and had me laughing I can’t tell you how many hours I would sit there and watch UA-cam. Ever since then I have wanted to be a full time UA-camr and help other and bring more positivity into this world.
-Having a focus to build your own community -There is always will be struggle in everyone's life. So never give up !!! -Be patient! It's long-play to be succesful youtuber -Blend every favorite youtuber's uniqueness and create your own original content -Community tab, Custom URL, Monetization 100-1000 subscriber is first goal ! -Do your research -Optimization ( keyword, tags ) -Title and thumbnails first than video -UA-cam is about marathon not a sprint -Be authentic ( having uniqueness "YOU" ) -Focus only for supporters not toxic people -Viewer's recent watch history is more valuable thing -UA-cam will give viewer's need and desire -Promoting your channel on the other youtube channels are wrong!
Lovely and educative, as said, being genuine is important. I am currently working on my channel but realised it would have been more difficult to create content if I was not really passionate about it. Still a newbie but so determined and patient. Never give up on your dreams.
So true! I started 1 year ago and avoid looking back at inexperienced me, much like I imagine most creators do (because wow, I could do those videos 100 times better these days!) But realising that just shows how much I've improved my videos since then and how much happier I am with my current content :) I'm slowly building in subs now, and I'm hoping this year I can bring more people together and continue to grow my little community of people with similar interests to me!
3:00 Is so true, I've put in a lot of creativity into my work and learning so many things that I've never thought I would need in life, like I seriously thought computer classes in school were useless (they aren't useless, they just don't teach them in a fun way) but I've literally been putting so much time and effort into UA-cam that I've started to have dream of getting hundreds of views and just dreams of UA-cam in general. Anyone Else?
Same and i see people getting thousands of veiws on there montages and idk how??!!! I watch all these videos but how and why do these people blow up on there first vids idk why
@@Floghive honestly Its mostly luck, you just need to be lucky to have youtube recommend your video to other users, and for the video to look interesting
We started our channel since we don't stay close to each other and it was a way for us to do what we love together and showcase our personalities to the world even if they might be crazy in a good way. we just want to make people smile
I started my channel to help my mental health. I have cPTSD and I'm working on coming out of my shell and accepting that i deserve to exist and be proud of myself.
I've received more negative comments on yt in my 3 months since creating my channel than any other platform, on the flip side I've also received some really lovely positive comments. I think the thing to remember is that these types of people just enjoy getting a raise out of saying something horrible online to a complete stranger and that reflects more on them than it does on you ❤️
We started the channel to protect our little one then decided to start another just for his gaming, drawing and adventures which we monitor and upload with him. So this channel focus is about sharing good vibes positive content
DON'T GIVE UP.A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Confession from me, who gave up twice, but I have faith in it and continue despite failure.
I have only had my channel for 3 months, and it has been very frustrating. I have a swimming pool podcast, and absolutely love doing it. It took several months to realize the importance of editing. 3 months ago I started my youtube channel and Tik to support the podcast. Now I love making content for these, but back to step 1 on understanding what is needed to succeed. 3 months, 82 subs. This is a grind. I'm trying to stay excited. Again, I love doing it, but..... i need a boost.
I wanted to start a youtube channel because I wanted to educate others how to make the best out of their own failures, gain those much needed new perspectives on failures such as deep learning and selfawareness and forge their mindset in the process dealing with all of that ...
I'm still learning about youtube content after vacum for several months, because the audience is quiet but I believe if there is effort there will definitely be results, don't give up for those who are struggling.. keep spirit !!!
Thanks 🙏🏻 one reason to fight again is VidIQ, because from here I learn more about how to be better again and again ... thanks VidIQ... I'll do my best with you 🙏🏻
Thanks for the heads up... I start my UA-cam channel for people to expand their creativity and learn how to edit. They can probably start doing freelance ✌Peace
Yes I've started it and trying to unlock my passion about this kind of creation. I'm happy though I'm still practicing and posting my videos without editing. Yes I love also searching and watching all the videos which will help me improve it. Thx a lot
I work into a niche field and I believe there is a lot of scope of development in this industry. By creating a channel I want to bring in more people into the space and be a part of the development.
I started my UA-cam channel to give back to the Anime communities with my knowledge in the Japanese language by sharing the different things that are Lost in Translation between the Japanese dubs and the English subtitles of Animes. Also explaining the many cultural things or jokes that gets changed in the subtitles
its been my dream for a really long time ive been absessed with games trying new things nature cooking and the main thing fashon and vlogging and ive been practecing at vlogging for a while and you only live once so why not share the dream!
Don’t let haters bring you down. They don’t like your video, oh well. They technically watched it. Focus on those that bring you up and support you. If you’re having fun and enjoying making your content, continue and don’t let peoples negativity bring you down.
@@scholashally it was something I had to wrap my mind around when I started. I was watching a UA-camr named Simabcxyz and he said don’t worry what people think. Do it because you enjoy it I’m close to 500 subscribers and have been able to interview hockey players. I never thought I would have the opportunity. I love having fun no matter what the haters think.
Enjoy the content vidIQ is making, thank you for the huge help. I wish I watched this first before I launched my channel! This post reminded me of what a "business plan" and "mission statement" is, and I need to generate those to help me "re-launch" my channel.
Im so glad I found this software. Just started my channel and wanted to make sure I did it the RIGHT way. ✅ Such good points to remember. Keep posting no matter what! I didnt have a clue about Thumbnails, titles and hooks then video creation. 👀You guys are such a gem because you keep it honest which has become a lost art🎯
I always watch these videos even though I have had my channel for 1,5 years. Always brings a new perspective, and new value to me, thank you, Rob. ❤The reason why I started my channel was to build a community for non-native English speakers who are struggling with speaking, fluency, etc. I'm not a teacher or anything, but I wanted to share my experience, advice, and some exercises; and create a community where we can support one another while I'm at it. Unfortunately, I haven't been very successful at building a community, maybe you can create a video about that? Because for me, gaining subscribers has been easy, I only have 2 Shorts and they bring subscribers every day, but it doesn't convert to returning viewers. ALAS, no community, and a long way from 4,000 watch hours.
I would say your thumbnails could do with some work and different languages in the titles is really confusing to me as a viewer. I don't know what I'm getting into if I click.
@@vidIQ Thank you very much, I'm honored!! Recently I made the switch from Turkish > English, so my old videos are in Turkish... If I can find time, I'll convert my old videos to English and add English subtitles, titles, thumbnails. :)
I successfully build a community from my following. There are a few approaches you can take to this. You can have a call to action in your videos to sign up for a monthly membership that meets weekly/monthly. Or you can lead people into a Facebook group and you can engage with people in there. THat's what I did in the beginning and I went live in my group and talked to my fan base in there. Feel free to respond to this comment if you have any questions or need help with taking your first steps
@@AritheCreator_ You're so kind, thank you! These are amazing ideas. My CTAs were limited to UA-cam features, like, subscribe, and leave a comment. I never realized I can think outside UA-cam! Thank you for sharing this. ❤
Love the video! I think most content creators start not realizing that youtube is truly about the grind. I've been doing content across multiple channels and only recently have I seen some positive growth. Just something that I thought some of you might find interesting, I recently discovered that youtube generates 'chapters' for videos without chapters based off of closed captions when in search. So I guess that this is an indicator that auto-generated subtitles are important in youtube search results.
i want to not only share my music with the world but to share my life and personality to a degree and give people a person that they can relate to. every video would be like a part of a tv show and would be chronological, and i’d plan to separate it into multiple channels later on

Agree.
And stop thinking. Just start!
Hey, that is exactly my plan of action. I don't want others to sabotage me, like they did in my past pursuits. I am working on my future channel in secret. I plan the first video to be there in a week.
I just got started

You got this!
Just keep making stuff. That's my motto.
To everyone reading this, don't give up on your channel.
You got this. With time, you will get to the point you've always aimed for.
You are tight
Amen 👏
I agree its hard in the beginning
Thanks for the motivation, I am at 91 subs and still trying to stay strong
Soh how to create UA-cam that people can see
So what I've got from this video: Think about your content, do title and thumbnail first, don't expect too much at the beginning, don't give up, build up a nice community and have fun and do it because you like it and not for the fame you could have some day
Noted❤
Quitting is not an option... Consistency leads to perfection... The most subscribed to channel started with 1 subscriber... It's just a matter of time..
Yea
I just started UA-cam only a few days ago. If it wasn't for these videos, I would have done everything wrong. Thank you!

dont give up, just because your first few videos are bad doesn't mean that its always gonna be bad... learn and improve
Glad to hear you're finally starting to figure it out!

No one understands how difficult it is to have a successful UA-cam channel until you actually try to have one!
thank you💖💖

Iv just started a UA-cam channel to follow along my journey from a beginner runner, to follow along my progress, iv seen many videos that show here’s my amazing transformation, in one video but I want to show my progression in real time essentially. The ups and downs you have along the way, not just a 5-10 minute video of the highlights of the journey.

we started our UA-cam channel because, when we first started watching, we were both fairly introverted. Joining the channels communities made a huge impact on our lives, even if it was just hanging out and watching them game. That's what our ultimate goal is, to create a community in which everyone can feel as if they have a group of friends and allies to hang out and chat with
Yes 👍 introverted as well.
@@MashellAponi Invalid is still very much introverted, i am intro/extro now

@@PlugThatChannelVDA very much appreciated, took me (Das) Awhile to overcome it

You're doing great
I started my UA-cam channel not for subscribers, not for success, not for money; I started my UA-cam because I genuinely love doing it!

The key to success on UA-cam is just like health- you don't do it perfectly at one time, you get better with practice

Oh, our advice actually worked for once! ;)
I love that. Not telling anyone. Will be so cool when someone comes across you online! 😆 Hope that fun moment comes to you soon. 😊
I wish this video was available before I started my UA-cam journey. There are so much value packed into this short video! UA-cam education is never complete. Thanks for another fantastic video, Rob! 😎👍🔥
Well you have it now. Some of it is still likely to be relevant!
Something I’d like to add is spending all that money isn’t *required* for growing on YT
I got to 10k without spending a dime on YT, I used free editing software, the phone mic, etc
My point is that all of the fancy stuff isn’t what people watch for, it’s the content
I tried using my phone for mic, but the file moving was so hard, I decided to buy a cheap mic.
Wow congratulations that’s a huge accomplishment
Yeah I make mine with just a digital camera that costed 100 bucks that can make little movies. That's it.
Yup!
I have to have a microphone and camera for work anyways because I work from home. So it's not really an extra expense.
I wanna focus on UA-cam because I wanna share my outdoor experiences with other people. I want to show Norway to the world :)

Thank you for mentioning the toxicity. It really makes us feel less alone.
💯 agree 👍
The best advice, is DON'T GIVE UP!
Even if you grow very slowly like me, the growth is still THERE. It doesn't have to be fast, but any growth is good growth. Keep striving you creators of the universe!
So true
This was the final piece of advice in our 1 Million subs video. Never give up!
I'm glad to hear that! Keep on keeping on!
Turn that paragraph into six words and you've got your value proposition!
Motivation, inspiration and hope right there!

-Viewer's recent watch history is more valuable thing
-UA-cam will give viewer's need and desire
-Promoting your channel on the other youtube channels are wrong!

So true! I started 1 year ago and avoid looking back at inexperienced me, much like I imagine most creators do (because wow, I could do those videos 100 times better these days!) But realising that just shows how much I've improved my videos since then and how much happier I am with my current content :)
I'm slowly building in subs now, and I'm hoping this year I can bring more people together and continue to grow my little community of people with similar interests to me!

I agree would love to see a video about building a community. it would help!
