O ZEEEEEAAH 😜💥💥💥💥! I’ll take a B2101 any day of the week. Especially a Modified B2101 depending on who Modified it. Just because it’s got Ty’s name on it don’t mean it’s Next Level. Usually those Ty’s or only lightly modified for race tracks for better mileage but some guys like badgers want all out Modified to a point so it’s still reliable I’m not talking Drag Mod that you must only use 65% nitro or higher I’m talking about bashing just having fun and those guys don’t care about mileage . I seen you run your b2101 she’s a nasty engine on Buggy for sure.

the fangs do very little to increase power the port size and crank and timing are the biggest help to an engine
I plan on getting my hands on a B2R for next summer..We will see..

The tessmann engine looks like a race mod (like the ielasi tuned engines) and the b2101 looks like a basher mod. That tessmann engine probably has a smooth but responsive bottom end and good top end with solid fuel consumption and the b2101 probably just has a butt ton of power on the top and bottom end and very snappy/responsive.

I had a quick question I am getting a revo 3.3 and I wanted to take the 3.3 out of it and put a lil bit beefier motor in it that will give it a lil more power what should I put in it??
Well with out some modifications to the car your best bet is to get a 3.3 modded motor which makes it a 3.7, that would be a direct bolt on.

I’m not sure about the ez start you can do a search on google for modded 3.3 I know rick from rbmods was doing them. Look rbmods up on google
So what do you prefer over all motors or how about OS vs FX engines
king24rod well right now I’m feeling the fx’s engines hard, not say there is something wrong with os but the expensive of them is too much for me

Am I tripping or was your used engine's sleeve like 4-6mm shorter than the new sleeve? Was it cut down? They are both variants of the same engine right?
Ummm... I'm not sure maybe it was the camera angle, they basically the same engine but one is modded
If I remember correctly the tessmann engine is a square stroke (16.4x16.4mm) and the B2101 is a standard long stroke or possibly a semi-long stroke (16.28x16.8mm for the standard and 16.4x16.55mm for the semi) it would make sense for the sleeve on the B2101 to be a little bit longer because of the stroke
How is the fuel mileage
Not sure, I never got a chance to run it

It depends on what your looking for in the engine, it can be more top, bottom fuel mileage or just drag mod.

Yes they are pricey, far as power and fuel consumption i'm not sure yet, haven't ran the maxima yet... but I will keep everyone posted
