Great video King's!! As you already know Head shim's are very important! That being said when i fine tune my shim's i also measure head button as well bc i have seen a difference in them even though they supposed to be the same on an identical Engine's.i have seen them to measure different! Also i have modded them as well.i have played around with the shape of them.i couldn't believe the difference it made in power. I got that from a well known modifier but i can't put out his name out there 😂😂 Great vid once again Brother !! 👊 💪
Thanks Carl👊 yep, shimming is very important. These headbuttons are exactly the same.3.55. You can mod a different shape. Bigger dish and lower PHC wil make a big difference. Thank you. Congrats on your engine. Normally if i go from 16-25% to 16%eu(which is 12%) i take of 0,05mm of the shim stack. I haven't tried 16%eu on this engine yet but you definitely need to take of 0,05mm and you could try take of 0,1mm and see how it runs. Appreciate you watching 👊

Sometimes manufactures simply Re-color the head and call it a “new version” - In my opinion the Updated Thrust Back Plate is the best upgrade for the engine and worth the extra weight. The head design on the AD3 is nice too. Do you know if you can use the AD3 back plate on the AD2 engine (and others)? Thanks for the vid Kings
When i have the time i also watch older vids on channels. There are indeed some updates. A awesome lighter coolinghead, the thrustplate and the boost bypass ports in the crankcase which suppose to have smoother fuelflow, more responsive and easier to control. It is hard to notice the difference though. So i have to agree that the backplate is the best upgrade. Despite that it's more heavy, the overall weight is still 11 grams lighter thanks to the coolinghead. The thrustplate will fit the ad2. Other then the bypass ports the crankcase is exactly the same. I really don't know if it fits other os engines. Thanks for watching 👊

Yes, the crank, piston, rod and sleeve are exactly the same.

Yes, the crankcase is different. On the AD3 there are bypass ports from the transfer slots to the main intake slot.
